The Lα, Lβ and Lγ x-ray production cross sections of Dy and Sm by electron impact are measured at energies from near threshold to tens of keV. In the experiments, thin targets with thick substrates are used. Meanwhile, the electron transport bipartition model is used to eliminate the influence of electrons reflected from the thick substrates on measurements. The measured x-ray production cross sections are also compared with the theoretical predictions by Gryzinski and McGuire.  相似文献

The experimental data of Mαβ X-ray production cross sections for Pb and Bi by 9–40 keV electron impact have been given. Thin films with thick carbon substrates are used in the experiment. The effects of target structure on the Mαβ X-ray production cross sections are corrected by using the Monte Carlo method. The corrected experimental data are compared with calculated cross sections in terms of the distorted-wave Born approximation(DWBA) theory. The measured Mαβ X-ray production cross sections for Pb and Bi are lower than the DWBA calculations. The atomic relaxation parameters used in comparing the DWBA values with experimental results affect the degree of difference.  相似文献

The production of Λ-hypernuclei in the A(p,K )ΛB reaction is investigated in the framework of the distorted wave impulse approximation(DWIA). The total cross sections and differential cross sections for various nuclear targets are calculated with an elementary process pN→NKΛ where the additional contributions from the N*(1535) resonance and the final state interaction between p and Λ are included. The dependence of the production cross sections of Λ-hypernuclei on the phenomenological nuclear density and the nucleon number in the target, as well as the distortion effect of the incident proton and outgoing kaon, are also explored. It is shown that the distortion effect tends to decrease the cross sections by a factor of about 3—10. The production cross sections are sensitive to the adopted nuclear density.  相似文献

The effects of breakup reactions on elastic and α-production channels for the ~6Li+~(116)Sn system have been investigated at energies below and near the Coulomb barrier. The angular distributions of α-particle production differential cross sections have been obtained at several projectile energies between 22 and 40 MeV. The measured breakup α-particle differential cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions have been compared with the predictions of continuum-discretized coupled channels(CDCC) calculations. The influence of breakup coupling has also been investigated by extracting dynamic polarization potentials(DPP) from the CDCC calculations. From the predictions of CDCC calculations the relative importance of the nuclear, Coulomb, and total breakup contributions have also been investigated. The nuclear breakup couplings are observed to play an important role in comparison to the Coulomb breakup for the direct breakup mechanisms associated in the reaction of ~6Li projectile with ~(116)Sn target nuclei. The influence of strong nuclear breakup coupling exhibits suppression in the Coulomb-nuclear interference peak. The direct breakup cross sections from the CDCC calculations under-predict the measured α-particle differential cross sections at all energies. This suggests that the measured α particles may also have contributions from other possible breakup reaction channels.  相似文献

The D(d,p)T reaction in Be metal environments has been measured to investigate the electron screening effect in metals in an energy region of from 5.5 keV to 10 keV in a center of mass system (CMS) at a temperature of 121 K. The depth distribution of deuteron density in Be metals has an impact on the observed reaction yields. A model of deuteron density distribution in metal has been proposed to obtain the original yields. A screening energy of (116±46) eV has been obtained with the assumed deuteron density distribution model.  相似文献

In the framework of KMT multiple scattering theory, an optical potential for the intermediate energy proton-160 elastic scattering is presented based on the α particle model of 160. The differential cross sections, the analyzing powers, and the total cross sections of the intermediate energy proton-160 scattering have been calculated by using the obtained optical potential. The main features of the measured angular distributions of the cross section and the analyzing power can be well described. The calculated total cross sections are in good agreement with the experimental data at energies below 0.7 GeV and underestimate the data about 8% at higher energies.  相似文献

We present a state-to-state dynamical calculation on the reaction S~++ H_2→ SH~+ +H based on an accurate ~X2 A~″ potential surface. Some reaction properties, such as reaction probability, integral cross sections, product distribution, etc.,are found to be those with characteristics of an indirect reaction. The oscillating structures appearing in reaction probability versus collision energy are considered to be the consequence of the deep potential well in the reaction. The comparison of the present total integral cross sections with the previous quasi-classical trajectory results shows that the quantum effect is more important at low collision energies. In addition, the quantum number inversion in the rotational distribution of the product is regarded as the result of the heavy–light–light mass combination, which is not effective for the vibrational excitation. For the collision energies considered, the product differential cross sections of the title reaction are mainly concentrated in the forward and backward regions, which suggests that there is a long-life intermediate complex in the reaction process.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of electrons by oxygen molecule are calculated for selected impact energies 7eV and 9eV. The results are compared with other theoretical results and experimental data.The present results are obtained by the momentum space optical potential method. We make a detailed study on the angular differential cross sections of positron–hydrogen collisions by using the momentum-space coupled-channels optical(CCO) method for incident energies below the H ionization threshold. The target continuum and the positronium(Ps) formation channels are included in the coupled-channels calculations via a complex equivalent-local optical potential. The critical points, which show minima in the differential cross sections, as a function of the scattering angle and the incident energy are investigated. The resonances in the angular differential cross sections are reported for the first time in this energy range. The effects of the target continuum and the Ps formation channels on the different cross sections are discussed.  相似文献

Electron impact excitation cross sections from the ground state to the individual magnetic sublevels of 1s2p 3'1P1 states in high-temperature dense plasmas are calculated for highly charged He-like Fe24+ ions by using a fully relativistic distorted-wave method. The Debye-Huckel screening model is used to screen the projectile electron from the nucleus and target electrons. The linear polarization degrees for these lines are obtained. It is found that the cross sections at all incident energies decrease with the increase of the screening for these excitations. The influence of screening on linear polarization degrees of the 1P1 line is very small. The linear polarization degrees of aP1 line decrease sharply at low incident energy with the increase of the screening.  相似文献

The breakup reaction cross sections were measured for the reaction of^6He at 25 MeV/nucleon from ^9Be target with intensity of 10^5 pps. By fitting the energy spectra of breakup α particles with Gaussian functions, the angular distribution of differential cross sections in the laboratory system has been extracted and compared with the Serber model calculations. The good agreement between the calculation and the experimental data favours a dominant configuration of the ^4He core plus valence neutrons for the structure of^6He.  相似文献

We study the elastic scattering of atomic argon by an electron in the presence of a bichromatic laser field in the second Born approximation. The target atom is approximated by a simple screening potential. We explore the dependences of the differential cross sections on the relative phase φ between the two components of the radiation field and discuss the influence of the number of photons exchanged on the phase-dependence effect. Moreover, for different scattering angles and incident electron energies, the differential cross sections are notably different.  相似文献

The high-energy electronic-impact excitation cross section is directly proportional to the generalized oscillators trength (GOS) of the target atom. The generalized oscillator strengths of helium atom from the ground state to the excited states (2^1S, 2^1P and 3^1D) are calculated using the updated R-matrix codes within the first Born approximation. Our calculation results are in good agreement with the previous theoretical and experimental results at high incident energies. In order to treat the bound-bound and bound-continuum transitions in a unified manner, the GOS density is defined based on the quantum defect theory. We calculate the GOS densities of ^1S, ^1p and ^1D charmels, namely the complete high-energy collision cross sections of electronic-impact excitations into all the n^1S, n^1P and n^1D excited states. In addition to high-energy excitation cross sections, a scheme to calculate the excitation cross sections for entire incident energy range is discussed.  相似文献

Electron-loss cross sections of O q+(q = 1 4) colliding with He,Ne and Ar atoms are measured in the intermediate velocity regime.The ratios of the cross sections of two-electron loss to that of one-electron loss R 21 are presented.It is shown that single-channel analysis is not sufficient to explain the results,but that projectile electron loss,electron capture by the projectile and target ionization must be considered together to interpret the experimental data.The screening and antiscreening effects can account for the threshold velocity results,but cannot explain the dependence of the ratio R 21 on velocity quantitatively.In general,the effective charge of the target atom increases with velocity increasing because the high-speed projectile ion can penetrate into the inner electronic shell of target atom.Ne and Ar atoms have similar effective charges in this velocity regime,but He atoms have smaller ones at the same velocities due to its smaller nuclear charge.  相似文献

Electron-induced Hf-, W-L-shell partial, total production cross sections, mean ionization cross sections and Hf-L_3-shell ionization cross sections (at two energies) have been measured as functions of electron energies (from near threshold to 36keV). The influence of electrons reflected from the backing of the thin targets on measured results was corrected using a model to relate to the electron transport process. The mean paths of electron multi-scattered in the target itself (including forward and backward scattering) were calculated by means of Monte Carlo program (EGS4) and they were used to correct measured results. We present experimental measurements of L-shell production cross sections Lα, Lβ and Lγ for tantalum and thulium by electron impact at incident electron energies from about one to three times the threshold energy. From the experimental data, the total production cross section and mean ionization cross section are deduced. The influence of electrons reflected from the substrate is corrected by the electron transport bipartition model. Tile measured cross sections are compared with the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

The cross sections one-and two-neutron transfers induced by 6He at 25MeV/u on a^9Be target were measured in RIKEN.Clear identification of the recoiled Be isotopes was achieved.In total five 11Be and 371 ^10Be events,the corresponding two-and one-neutron transfers were obtained and analysed for transfer reaction cross sections.The results are useful to determine the spectroscopic factors of the internal halo structure of the 6He nucleus.  相似文献

A complex optical model potential correlated by the concept of bonded atoms, which considers the overlapping effect of electron clouds between two atoms in a molecule, is firstly employed to calculate the absolute differential cross sections, the integrated and momentum transfer cross sections for electrons scattered by O2 at intermediate and high energies by using additivity rule model at Hartree-Fock level. In the study,the complex optical model potential is composed of static, exchange, correlation polarization plus absorption contributions. The quantitative absolute differential cross sections, the integrated and momentum transfer cross sections are obtained. Compared with available experimental data, this approach presents good results. It is shown that the additivity rule model together with the complex optical model potential correlated by the concept of bonded atoms is completely suitable for the calculations of the absolute differential cross sections, the integrated and momentum transfer cross sections.  相似文献

Experimentally measured neutron activation cross sections are presented for the 65Cu(n,0)62mCu,41 K(n,a)38Cl,and 65Cu(n.2n)64Cu reactions with detailed uncertainty propagation.The neutron cross secions were measured at an incident energy of 14.92±0.02 MeV,and the neutrons were based on the(d,n)a fusion reaction.The 27 Al(n,a)24Na reaction was used as a reference reaction for the normalization of the neutron flux.The pre-calib-rated lead-shielded HPGe detector was used to detect the residues'γ-ray spetra.The data from the measured cross sections are compared to the previously measured cross sections from the EXFOR database,theoretically calculated cross sections using the TALYS and EMPIRE codes,and evaluated nuclear data.  相似文献
