Surveys are presented on automatic and quantitative deformation measurements using CCDs and computers in holographic interferometry and speckle metrology for diffusely reflecting surfaces. For delivering relationships between object deformation and observed quantities, we discuss formations of fringes and signals observed in these methods in terms of correlation functions of spatially randomly varying complex amplitude of light. Dependencies of the observed patterns on object deformation and optical systems are discussed. Physical meanings of the derived relationships are explained in terms of the dynamic behaviors of speckles resulting from surface deformation. Automatic measurements are described in chronological orders. They include analysis of fringe patterns resulting from photographic recording of specklegrams, video recording and analysis of speckle patterns used in electronic speckle pattern interferometry as well as direct digital correlation techniques, and digital holography that uses both digital recording and reconstruction of holograms.  相似文献

A two-dimensional Fourier transform analysis is presented for numerically processing the Young's fringes diffraction pattern from a double- exposure speckle photograph. The fringe spacing and orientation are determined using only one Young's fringes pattern without any other diffraction halo patterns. This algorithm is based on the 2-D FFT of the fringe pattern with 256 × 256 pixels. Therefore, it enables automatic analysis to be performed on specklegram with noisy and poor fringe patterns. The measurement of deformation by the laser speckle method can be carried out with high accuracy, reliability and speed.  相似文献

本文通过位移位相存在的真实性实验、小孔滤波的必要性实验、位移梯度的解相关性实验,证实了散斑剪切于涉术的条纹是由物体变形所引起的“位移位相”和“位移微分位相”以及由位移和位移微分共同决定的“附加位相”之和的余弦条纹。实验证实这种余弦条纹的分布,随着滤波孔的位置而变化,它的衬比随着位移和位移梯度的增大而下降。特别是,当在象面上一点相遇的两个物点的象面散斑位移之差的模值大于散斑的直径时,两者相遇的象点上的条纹消失。  相似文献

The noise in sawtooth fringes generated by electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) is investigated. When deformations of depolarising objects are studied, the scattered object light can be decomposed into two orthogonal linearly polarised speckle patterns which are partially decorrelated. Their correlation coefficient decreases with increasing depolarisation coefficient of the object. By suitable merging of the phase distributions of these two speckle fields on the basis of a modulation depth analysis, the rms phase error in the ESPI sawtooth fringes can be reduced significantly.  相似文献

Transient out-of-plane displacements generated in a steel cantilever beam by an impact load are measured using a double-pulsed electronic speckle pattern interferometry system. The state of deformation of the object is freezed using a ruby laser and the pulse emission is synchronised with the impact load. Correlation fringes for different times after the start of the impact are obtained using a digital image system. For each time, transient displacements are evaluated by digital analysis of the fringes. In order to test the experimental results, the time response of the beam subjected to the impact load is evaluated using a 3-D finite element analysis. A close agreement is found between the experimental and numerical results, which prove the reliability of the optical technique to measure high-speed transient deformations.  相似文献

为了提高瞬态高温检测的精度,利用快速傅里叶变换(FFT)对散斑干涉条纹进行光谱分析,提出了通过光谱分布的偏移及幅值变化反演温度的方法。当激光照射应变材料时,瞬态高温使材料发生形变从而使散斑干涉条纹改变,被测表面形变前后获得的干涉条纹由面阵CCD采集。由于其对应的光谱密度分布函数也会发生相应的改变,即中心波长位置偏移及振幅变化,通过其改变反演材料的瞬态温度。在分析推导了瞬态温度变化、材料应变及干涉条纹变化之间的函数关系后,仿真分析得到了瞬态温度正比于压强系数、反比于温度系数。实验采用660 nm半导体激光器,SI6600型面阵CCD探测器,从获得的光谱分布函数中提取中心波长的偏移量,经计算和标定所得数据与传统的干涉测温方法进行对比,探测精度可达0.3%。相比传统的直接检测干涉条纹的变化量,由被测面形变量推导温度的方法精度提高近3倍。  相似文献

A wavelet transform (WT) analysis is presented to obtain the deformation phases from the fringes with non-uniform carrier frequency, which may appear in the pattern of varied-periodic fringes generated in displacement measurement. Based on the phase maps of the Morlet WT coefficients distributed in a space-scale spectrum, a statistical processing is carried out to search the compacted density of the phase intervals over the scale, and from that the phase modulations related to the object deformation can be determined. Numerical simulation demonstrates the validity of the pattern-processing technique, and the experimental results show the applications to the measurement of the in-plane displacement by the digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) and the measurement of the out-of-plane deflection by the projecting Moiré fringes.  相似文献

Additive-subtractive phase modulated speckle interferometry (ASPMSI) is a technique that minimizes the susceptibility of speckle methods to environmental noise while providing fringes of good visibility. The method requires the acquisition of two consecutive video frames of additive-speckle images of the same two deformed states of an object at a rapid enough rate such that ambient noise is not a problem. The additive-speckle images as expected are of very poor visibility due to the presence of the self-interference term. An interframe phase-modulation is introduced and the two additive-speckle images are digitally subtracted to improve the fringe visibility by removing the self-interference term. The ASPM-SI method works with in-plane and out-of-plane deformation sensitive ESPI as well as with displacement-gradient sensitive speckle-shearing interferometry. It is shown that the ASPM-SI scheme has higher visibility than conventional additive-SI and performs consistently better than subtractive-SI schemes in the presence of partial interframe speckle decorrelating optical noise. Furthermore, it is shown that the fringe visibility of the out-of-plane displacement sensitive interferometer which uses a protected reference beam separate from the object beam can be made to be essentially unity even at complete interframe decorrelation.  相似文献

If a laser beam illuminates a continual deformation object surface, it will lead to a temporal speckle pattern on the observation plane. Recording this time-dependent speckle pattern the deformation of the surface of an object can be obtained. Two methods, scanning phase method (SPM) and time sequence phase method (TSPM), have been introduced for measuring the displacement caused by the deformation in temporal speckle pattern interferometry (TSPI). Their principle is that by capturing a series of speckle interference patterns related to the object deformations, the fluctuations in the intensity of the interference patterns can be obtained. Through scanning these fluctuations and estimating both the average intensity and modulation of the temporal speckle interference patterns, the phase maps for whole-field displacements are calculated. In this way one is capable of quantitatively measuring continual displacements simply using a conventional electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) system without phase shifting or a carrier. The elaboration on the new methods is given in this paper and experiments are performed to demonstrate their performance with a conventional ESPI system.  相似文献

大剪切电子散斑干涉技术不需要引入参考光,具有条纹质量好等特点。提出将干涉场的载频调制技术引入到大剪切电子散斑干涉中,可形成具有载频调制功能的新的电子散斑干涉系统。该系统具有对测量环境的隔振振动要求低,能方便定量求解物体的变形场等优点。首先讨论大剪切载频的调制机理,然后利用中心加载、周边固定的圆盘进行典型实验,设计了可用计算机控制且可对参考物进行精确偏转的步进电机系统,进而实现了对电子散斑干涉场的自动控制调制。最后,利用傅里叶变换法对调制条纹进行解调,解调出变形场的相位,并通过相位与位移的转换计算,得到精确的物体变形场。实验结果证明,该系统能够调制电子散斑干涉场,求解物体的位移场。  相似文献

A fringe carrier method for separating out-of-plane displacement from in-plane components based on large image-shearing electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) is presented. If the test object is respectively illuminated by two expanded symmetric illuminations in large image-shearing ESPI, two interferometers are formed. Carrier fringe patterns can be introduced by tilting reference surface a small angle. The carrier fringe patterns are demodulated after deformation of the object. Two phase maps, which include out-of-plane and in-plane displacement, can be obtained by using Fourier transform. Then out-of-plane displacement can be easily separated from in-plane displacement by simple operation between two unwrapped phase distributions. The principle of spatial carrier frequency modulation in large image-shearing ESPI is discussed. A typical three-point-bending experiment is completed. Experimental results are offered. The results show that the method offers high visibility of carrier fringes. And the system presented does not need a special beam as a reference light and has simple optical setup.  相似文献

Spiral interferometry can be used as a solution to the problem of sign ambiguity presented in the conventional speckle pattern interferometric technique when the optical phase needs to be reconstructed from a single closed fringe system. Depressions and elevations of the topography corresponding to the object deformation are distinguished by the direction of rotation of the local spiral fringe pattern. In this work, we implement and compare several methods for optical phase reconstruction by analyzing a single image composed of spiral speckle pattern interferometry correlation fringes. The implemented methods are based on contour line demodulation, center line demodulation, Spiral Phase Quadrature Transform and the 2D Riesz transform with multivector structure. Contour line and center line demodulation approaches are exclusively dedicated to images containing a fringe system with spiral structure. The others are based on the 2D Riesz transform, these being well known approaches in conventional interferometry. We examine simulated experiments and analyze some of the emerging drawbacks for solving the phase reconstruction problem by using different mean values of speckle size and background noise levels. We also discuss several numerical procedures that may well improve the efficiency and robustness of the presented numerical implementations. The performance of the implemented demodulation methods is evaluated by using a universal image quality index and therefore a quantitative comparison is also presented.  相似文献

为了获得准确的面形测量,提出了一种相移电子散斑干涉技术测量物体面形的测量方法.利用电子散斑干涉产生载波条纹,该载波条纹受到物体表面高度的调制变得弯曲,引起载波条纹相位的变化,可运用相移技术提取物体的相位信息,最后根据高度和相位之间的关系得到物体的面形.介绍了该方法的原理,利用该方法对球冠物体进行了面形测量,证明该方法测量物体面形是可行性的.由于是采用散斑干涉的方法产生干涉条纹,因此该方法测量物体面形具有灵敏度高的优点.  相似文献

Holographic interferometry generally involves the interference of two or more speckle fields reflected from or transmitted through a diffused object. The visibility of the resulting fringes depends on the degree of coherence of the interfering speckle fields. Through a statistical analysis it is found that the degree of coherence of speckle fields is essentially a function of the relative speckle displacement and average speckle size. The analysis leads to a new physical model for holographic interferometry. With this model the problem of fringe formation and localization may be analyzed and formulated in terms of speckle movement. A new formula for ideal fringe localization is then derived from the analysis. Furthermore, a localization factor Vc, i.e. the visibility of the holographic fringes, is introduced to analyze the partial fringe localization in holographic interferometry, which is of practical interest to most researchers.  相似文献

In astronomical speckle imaging, deconvolving a shift-and-add (SAA) image has an advantage over deconvolving noisy specklegrams, because an SAA image is an integration of many specklegrams and has a relatively enhanced signal-tonoise ratio. In this paper, to reinforce the deconvolution of a single SAA image, we propose a multiframe deconvolution applied to multiple SAA images that are obtained by diversely recombining the same set of specklegrams to have different point spread functions. We have found that such diverse SAA images can be easily produced by permuting specklegrams to be processed by SAA. The results of experiments using simulated and observational data have shown a robustness of our present approach: in the previous approach of deconvolving a single SAA frame, the resulting object estimate is apt to be influenced by the given SAA frame and the estimation sometimes fails, whereas in the present approach, a reliable object image is stably reconstructed regardless of the given SAA frames.  相似文献

Physical parameters of different types of lenses were measured through digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) using a multimode diode laser as light source. When such lasers emit two or more longitudinal modes simultaneously the speckle image of an object appears covered of contour fringes. By performing the quantitative fringe evaluation the radii of curvature as well as the refractive indexes of the lenses were determined. The fringe quantitative evaluation was carried out through the four- and the eight-stepping techniques and the branch-cut method was employed for phase unwrapping. With all these parameters the focal length was calculated. This whole-field multi-wavelength method does enable the characterization of spherical and aspherical lenses and of positive and negative ones as well.  相似文献
