The game ‘rock-paper-scissors’ model, with the consideration of the effect of the psychology of conformity, is investigated. The interaction between each two agents is global, but the strategy of the conformity is local for individuals. In the statistical opinion, the probability of the appearance of each strategy is uniform. The dynamical analysis of this model indicates that the equilibrium state may lose its stability at a threshold and is replaced by a globally oscillating state. The global oscillation is induced by the local conformity, which is originated from the synchronization of individual strategies.  相似文献

The understanding of emergent collective phenomena in natural and social systems has driven the interest of scientists from different disciplines during decades. Among these phenomena, the synchronization of a set of interacting individuals or units has been intensively studied because of its ubiquity in the natural world. In this Letter, we show how for fixed coupling strengths local patterns of synchronization emerge differently in homogeneous and heterogeneous complex networks, driving the process towards a certain global synchronization degree following different paths. The dependence of the dynamics on the coupling strength and on the topology is unveiled. This study provides a new perspective and tools to understand this emerging phenomena.  相似文献

We study the synchronization of Rössler oscillators as prototypes of chaotic systems on scale-free complex networks. As it turns out, the underlying topology crucially affects the global synchronization properties. In particular, we show that the existence of loops facilitates the synchronizability of the system, whereas Rössler oscillators do not synchronize on tree-like topologies beyond a certain size. Moreover, it is not the mere number of loops that counts for synchronization but also the type of loops. By considering Cayley trees modified by additional loops in different ways, we find out that also the distribution of shortest path lengths between two oscillators plays an important role for the global synchronization.  相似文献

块匹配电子稳像算法是一种稳定性好、准确度高的电子稳像算法.块匹配算法在目标区域中从起始点到匹配点进行搜索时,需要对图像块进行反复匹配,计算量大、实时性差成为限制其应用的主要问题.本文从缩小块匹配算法搜索范围的思想出发,提出了一种利用时间序列预测来确定最优搜索起始点的电子稳像算法.根据图像序列全局运动矢量的内部统计特性,选择合适的时间序列模型;采用AIC准则和Durbin-Levinson递推算法估计模型的阶次和参量,并通过残差检验对模型进行检验和更新.利用建立的时间序列模型和历史数据对当前时刻全局运动矢量进行最优预测,并将其作为搜索起点来进行下一步精确搜索.实验结果证明,时间序列预测方法有效缩小了块匹配算法的搜索范围,使计算速度得到较大幅度的提高,并可直接推广到其它电子稳像算法中.  相似文献

节律行为,即系统行为呈现随时间的周期变化,在我们的周围随处可见.不同节律之间可以通过相互影响、相互作用产生自组织,其中同步是最典型、最直接的有序行为,它也是非线性波、斑图、集群行为等的物理内在机制.不同的节律可以用具有不同频率的振子(极限环)来刻画,它们之间的同步可以用耦合极限环系统的动力学来加以研究.微观动力学表明,随着耦合强度增强,振子同步伴随着动力学状态空间降维到一个低维子空间,该空间由序参量来描述.序参量的涌现及其所描述的宏观动力学行为可借助于协同学与流形理论等降维思想来进行.本文从统计物理学的角度讨论了耦合振子系统序参量涌现的几种降维方案,并对它们进行了对比分析.序参量理论可有效应用于耦合振子系统的同步自组织与相变现象的分析,通过进一步研究序参量的动力学及其分岔行为,可以对复杂系统的涌现动力学有更为深刻的理解.  相似文献

Recently, several complex network approaches to time series analysis have been developed and applied to study a wide range of model systems as well as real-world data, e.g., geophysical or financial time series. Among these techniques, recurrence-based concepts and prominently ε-recurrence networks, most faithfully represent the geometrical fine structure of the attractors underlying chaotic (and less interestingly non-chaotic) time series. In this paper we demonstrate that the well known graph theoretical properties local clustering coefficient and global (network) transitivity can meaningfully be exploited to define two new local and two new global measures of dimension in phase space: local upper and lower clustering dimension as well as global upper and lower transitivity dimension. Rigorous analytical as well as numerical results for self-similar sets and simple chaotic model systems suggest that these measures are well-behaved in most non-pathological situations and that they can be estimated reasonably well using ε-recurrence networks constructed from relatively short time series. Moreover, we study the relationship between clustering and transitivity dimensions on the one hand, and traditional measures like pointwise dimension or local Lyapunov dimension on the other hand. We also provide further evidence that the local clustering coefficients, or equivalently the local clustering dimensions, are useful for identifying unstable periodic orbits and other dynamically invariant objects from time series. Our results demonstrate that ε-recurrence networks exhibit an important link between dynamical systems and graph theory.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the Tehran stock exchange (TSE) and Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) in terms of perturbed correlation matrices. To perturb a stock market, there are two methods, namely local and global perturbation. In the local method, we replace a correlation coefficient of the cross-correlation matrix with one calculated from two Gaussian-distributed time series, whereas in the global method, we reconstruct the correlation matrix after replacing the original return series with Gaussian-distributed time series. The local perturbation is just a technical study. We analyze these markets through two statistical approaches, random matrix theory (RMT) and the correlation coefficient distribution. By using RMT, we find that the largest eigenvalue is an influence that is common to all stocks and this eigenvalue has a peak during financial shocks. We find there are a few correlated stocks that make the essential robustness of the stock market but we see that by replacing these return time series with Gaussian-distributed time series, the mean values of correlation coefficients, the largest eigenvalues of the stock markets and the fraction of eigenvalues that deviate from the RMT prediction fall sharply in both markets. By comparing these two markets, we can see that the DJIA is more sensitive to global perturbations. These findings are crucial for risk management and portfolio selection.  相似文献

本文讨论了一维闭合环上Kuramoto相振子在非对称耦合作用下同步区域出现的多定态现象. 研究发现在振子数N≤3情形下系统不会出现多态现象, 而N≥4多振子系统则呈现规律的多同步定态. 我们进一步对耦合振子系统中出现的多定态规律及定态稳定性进行了理论分析, 得到了定态渐近稳定解. 数值模拟多体系统发现同步区特征和理论描述相一致. 研究结果显示在绝热条件下随着耦合强度的减小, 系统从不同分支的同步态出发最终会回到同一非同步态. 这说明, 耦合振子系统在非同步区由于运动的遍历性而只具有单一的非同步态, 在发生同步时由于遍历性破缺会产生多个同步定态的共存现象.  相似文献

Many natural and human-made nonlinear oscillators exhibit the ability to adjust their rhythms due to weak interaction: two lasers, being coupled, start to generate with a common frequency; cardiac pacemaker cells fire simultaneously; violinists in an orchestra play in unison. Such coordination of rhythms is a manifestation of a fundamental nonlinear phenomenon--synchronization. Discovered in the 17th century by Christiaan Huygens, it was observed in physics, chemistry, biology and even social behaviour, and found practical applications in engineering and medicine. The notion of synchronization has been recently extended to cover the adjustment of rhythms in chaotic systems, large ensembles of oscillating units, rotating objects, continuous media, etc. In spite of essential progress in theoretical and experimental studies, synchronization remains a challenging problem of nonlinear sciences.  相似文献

采用Hindmarsh-Rose神经元动力学模型, 对二维点阵上的神经元网络的同步进行了研究. 为了解不同耦合对网络同步的影响, 提出了一般反馈耦合、分层反馈耦合和分层局域平均场反馈耦合三种方案.研究表明:在耦合强度较小的近邻耦合下, 一般反馈耦合不能使网络达到完全同步, 而分层反馈耦合和分层局域平均场反馈耦合可以使网络出现局部同步和全局同步. 不同形式的耦合会导致网络出现不同的斑图, 随着耦合强度的增大, 网络从不同步到同步的过程也不相同, 一般反馈耦合和分层反馈耦合网络是突然出现全局同步, 同步之前网络出现非周期性的相干斑图; 对于分层局域平均场反馈耦合网络, 同层神经元之间先出现从簇放电同步到同步的转变, 形成靶波, 然后同步区由中心向外逐渐扩大, 最终达到网络的全局同步. 这些结果表明, 只有适当的耦合才能实现信号的无损耗的传递. 此外我们发现分层局域平均场反馈耦合可以促进网络的同步.  相似文献

本文研究了耦合不连续系统的同步转换过程中的动力学行为, 发现由混沌非同步到混沌同步的转换过程中特殊的多吸引子共存现象. 通过计算耦合不连续系统的同步序参量和最大李雅普诺夫指数随耦合强度的变化, 发现了较复杂的同步转换过程: 临界耦合强度之后出现周期非同步态(周期性窗口); 分析了系统周期态的迭代轨道,发现其具有两类不同的迭代轨道: 对称周期轨道和非对称周期轨道, 这两类周期吸引子和同步吸引子同时存在, 系统表现出对初值敏感的多吸引子共存现象. 分析表明, 耦合不连续系统中的周期轨道是由于局部动力学的不连续特性和耦合动力学相互作用的结果. 最后, 对耦合不连续系统的同步转换过程进行了详细的分析, 结果表明其同步呈现出较复杂的转换过程.  相似文献

Graphical models applying partial coherence to multivariate time series are a powerful tool to distinguish direct and indirect interdependencies in multivariate linear systems. We carry over the concept of graphical models and partialization analysis to phase signals of nonlinear synchronizing systems. This procedure leads to the partial phase synchronization index which generalizes a bivariate phase synchronization index to the multivariate case and reveals the coupling structure in multivariate synchronizing systems by differentiating direct and indirect interactions. This ensures that no false positive conclusions are drawn concerning the interaction structure in multivariate synchronizing systems. By application to the paradigmatic model of a coupled chaotic Roessler system, the power of the partial phase synchronization index is demonstrated.  相似文献

A known method to compute on an asynchronously updating cellular automaton is the simulation of a synchronous computing model on it. Such a scheme requires not only an increased number of cell states, but also the simulation of a global synchronization mechanism. Asynchronous systems tend to use synchronization only on a local scale—if they use it at all. Research on cellular automata that are truly asynchronous has been limited mostly to trivial phenomena, leaving issues such as computation unexplored. This paper presents an asynchronously updating cellular automaton that conducts computation without relying on a simulated global synchronization mechanism. The two-dimensional cellular automaton employs a Moore neighborhood and 85 totalistic transition rules describing the asynchronous interactions between the cells. Despite the probabilistic nature of asynchronous updating, the outcome of the dynamics is deterministic. This is achieved by simulating delay-insensitive circuits on it, a type of asynchronous circuit that is known for its robustness to variations in the timing of signals. We implement three primitive operators on the cellular automaton from which any arbitrary delay-insensitive circuit can be constructed and show how to connect the operators such that collisions of crossing signals are avoided.  相似文献

Opinion dynamics models based on the multi-agent method commonly assume that interactions between individuals in a social network result in changes in their opinions.However,formation of public opinion in a social network is a macroscopic statistical result of opinions of all expressive individuals(corresponding to silent individuals).Therefore,public opinion can be manipulated not only by changing individuals'opinions,but also by changing their states of expression(or silence)which can be interpreted as the phenomenon"spiral of silence"in social psychology.Based on this theory,we establish a"dual opinion climate"model,involving social bots and mass media through a multi-agent method,to describe mechanism for manipulation of public opinion in social networks.We find that both social bots(as local variables)and mass media(as a global variable)can interfere with the formation of public opinion,cause a significant superposition effect when they act in the same direction,and inhibit each other when they act in opposite directions.  相似文献

We study the influence of repulsive interactions on an ensemble of coupled excitable rotators. We find that a moderate fraction of repulsive interactions can trigger global firing of the ensemble. The regime of global firing, however, is suppressed in sufficiently large systems if the network of repulsive interactions is fully random, due to self-averaging in its degree distribution. We thus introduce a model of partially random networks with a broad degree distribution, where self-averaging due to size growth is absent. In this case, the regime of global firing persists for large sizes. Our results extend previous work on the constructive effects of diversity in the collective dynamics of complex systems.  相似文献

A simulation method is presented that achieves a flat energy distribution by updating the statistical temperature instead of the density of states in Wang-Landau sampling. A novel molecular dynamics algorithm (STMD) applicable to complex systems and a Monte Carlo algorithm are developed from this point of view. Accelerated convergence for large energy bins, essential for large systems, is demonstrated in tests on the Ising model, the Lennard-Jones fluid, and bead models of proteins. STMD shows a superior ability to find local minima in proteins and new global minima are found for the 55 bead AB model in two and three dimensions. Calculations of the occupation probabilities of individual protein inherent structures provide new insights into folding and misfolding.  相似文献

In physical, biological, technological and social systems, interactions between units give rise to intricate networks. These-typically non-trivial-structures, in turn, critically affect the dynamics and properties of the system. The focus of most current research on complex networks is, still, on global network properties. A caveat of this approach is that the relevance of global properties hinges on the premise that networks are homogeneous, whereas most real-world networks have a markedly modular structure. Here, we report that networks with different functions, including the Internet, metabolic, air transportation and protein interaction networks, have distinct patterns of connections among nodes with different roles, and that, as a consequence, complex networks can be classified into two distinct functional classes on the basis of their link type frequency. Importantly, we demonstrate that these structural features cannot be captured by means of often studied global properties.  相似文献

This paper constructs a new physical system, i.e., the fractional-order Rabinovich system, and investigates its stability, chaotic behaviors, chaotic control and matrix projective synchronization. Firstly, two Lemmas of the new system's stability at three equilibrium points are given and proved. Next, the largest Lyapunov exponent, the corresponding bifurcation diagram and the chaotic behaviors are studied. Then, the linear and nonlinear feedback controllers are designed to realize the system's local asymptotical stability and the global asymptotical stability, respectively. It's particularly significant that, the fractional matrix projective synchronization between two Rabinovich systems is achieved and two kinds of proofs are provided for Theorem 4.1. Especially, under certain degenerative conditions, the fractional matrix projective synchronization can be reduced to the complete synchronization, anti-synchronization, projective synchronization and modified projective synchronization of the fractional-order Rabinovich systems. Finally, all the theoretical analysis is verified by numerical simulation.  相似文献
