提出了一种新颖的光纤光栅温度调谐方案,并将按此方案制作的调谐装置命名为双肩梁,详细分析了其原理.设计制作了一套双肩梁调谐装置,并对其进行了实验研究.实验中得到了0.436nm/℃的温度调谐效率,把所用光纤光栅的温度灵敏度提高了50倍之多.调谐具有很好的线性和可重复性.该装置最大的优点在于它突破了以往热调谐方法中驱动材料热膨胀系数的限制,使得温度调谐效率可以根据实际需要进行灵活设计,从而具有很大的灵活性.该装置在激光器调谐、高灵敏度温度传感以及传感解调等领域有着很大的潜在应用价值.

设计了一种由一直梁和两个半圆拱组成的开口环结构,并将均匀光纤布拉格光栅斜贴于直梁中间的表面处。对两半圆拱施加与直梁方向平行的应力作用时,光纤光栅受到线性应力场的作用,光纤布拉格光栅即转化为啁啾光纤光栅。该机构实现了光纤光栅带宽的线性调谐,线性度高达0.9982,实验结果与理论分析一致。与以往的带宽调谐机构相比,该机构具有很高的应力灵敏度,在20N力的作用下,可产生约7nm的带宽反射,灵敏度达0.34nm/N。利用环境温度对带宽调谐无影响的特性,采用带宽编码技术,研制出具有温度自动补偿特性、高灵敏度的带宽调谐装置。 相似文献

为了对光纤布喇格光栅(Fiber Bragg Grating,FBG) 的中心反射波长进行双向调谐,提出了采用半导体致冷器、热敏电阻配合控制电路对FBG的工作温度进行双向精确控制实现温度/波长调谐的方法,讨论了温度/波长调谐的实现技术,并研制了FBG双向温度调谐器样品.在0℃、20℃、40℃环境温度条件下对调谐器进行了范围为-20℃~60℃、步进为10℃的温度扫描测试.实验结果表明:FBG调谐器的中心反射波长与设定的温度有较好的线性关系,除波长外其它光栅特性基本不随调谐温度改变;调谐装置准确度优于0.05 nm,且受环境温度变化的影响较小. 相似文献

The effect of friction in ferrules on compression tuning characteristics of fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) was observed and analyzed in this paper. It was demonstrated that the micro-bending of the fiber in the ferrule would cause friction between fiber and inner wall of the ferrule, and the friction would make a non-uniform strain in the FBG and degradations of its reflection spectrum. To avoid the effect, some measures have been applied including reducing the ferrule diameter to fit the fiber, and filling some lubrication in the ferrule, and so on. Near 10 nm tuning range can be obtained with good spectral performance. 相似文献

We report on a wide wavelength tuning in a double-clad ytterbium-doped fiber laser. The laser cavity consists of an array of broadband high-reflection fiber Bragg gratings and a bulk grating as the output coupler and wavelength selection element. The proposed fiber laser configuration combines a low intracavity loss of the fiber Bragg grating mirrors with a wide wavelength tuning of the bulk gratings. We demonstrate a >70-nm wavelength tuning range, limited only by the available fiber Bragg gratings. 相似文献

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a simple multiwavelength Raman fiber laser based on few-mode fiber Bragg gratings without additional multichannel filters. The multiwavelength Raman laser output has a high extinction ratio of more than 45 dB. The multiwavelength output is so stable that the peak power fluctuation is less than 0.5 dB. The number of lasing wavelengths can be adjusted, corresponding to the properties of few-mode Bragg gratings with multiple resonant wavelengths. By the thermal tuning method, the lasing wavelength of each channel can be effectively controlled, and the laser's tunability is measured to be 10.5 pm/ degrees C. 相似文献

A tunable multi-wavelength combined linear-cavity fiber laser source with equally changed wavelength spacing is proposed for the first time. The wavelength tuning is realized by stretching or compressing the fiber Bragg gratings incorporated in the laser cavity. To ensure a wavelength tuning with equally increased or decreased wavelength spacing, the gratings are mounted onto a plastic plate with angles between adjacent gratings such that the forces applied to the gratings has an equal force increment.
