We find numerically small scale basic structures of homoclinic bifurcation curves in the parameter space of the Chua circuit. The distribution of these basic structures in the parameter space and their geometrical properties constitute a complete homoclinic bifurcation scenario of this system. Furthermore, these structures and the scenario are theoretically demonstrated to be generic to a large class of dynamical systems that presents, as the Chua circuit, Shilnikov homoclinic orbits. We classify the complexity of primary and subsidiary homoclinic orbits by their order given by the number of their returning loops. Our results confirm previous predictions of structures of homoclinic bifurcation curves and extend this study to high order primary orbits. Furthermore, we identify accumulations of bifurcation curves of subsidiary homoclinic orbits into bifurcation curves of both primary and subsidiary orbits.  相似文献

基于混沌信号的统计特性,提出了一种通过改善混沌信号的空间关联性实现混沌控制的方法.以Hénon离散混沌系统和四阶Chua's电路超混沌连续系统为例进行了数值研究,验证了这种控制方法的有效性.结果表明, 通过改善混沌信号之间的空间关联性, 混沌系统能以较快的速度收敛到它的平衡点或多种周期轨道. 关键词: 混沌控制 空间关联性 Hénon系统 四阶Chua's电路  相似文献

We report on the experimental investigation of gluing bifurcations in the analog electronic circuit which models a dynamical system of the third order: Lorenz equations with an additional quadratic nonlinearity. Variation of one of the resistances in the circuit changes the coefficient at this nonlinearity and replaces the Lorenz route to chaos by a different scenario which leads, through the sequence of homoclinic bifurcations, from periodic oscillations of the voltage to the irregular ones. Every single bifurcation “glues” in the phase space two stable periodic orbits and creates a new one, with the doubled length: a sequence of such bifurcations results in the birth of the chaotic attractor.  相似文献

具有记忆功能的忆阻器是除电阻器、电容器和电感器之外的第四种基本二端电路元件. 提出了由φ-q平面上的一条三次单调上升的非线性曲线来确定的光滑磁控忆阻器,它有着斜"8"字形的类紧磁滞回线的伏安特性曲线. 采用此忆阻器和负电导构成的有源忆阻器替换蔡氏混沌电路中的蔡氏二极管,导出了一个基于忆阻器的混沌振荡电路. 此外,利用常规的运算放大器和乘法器等元器件给出了有源忆阻器的等效电路实现形式. 理论分析、数值仿真和电路仿真结果一致,均表明忆阻混沌电路的动力学行为依赖于忆阻器的初始状态,在不同初始状态下存在混沌振荡、周期振荡或稳定的汇等不同的运行轨道. 关键词: 忆阻器 混沌电路 初始状态 等效电路  相似文献

One-degree of freedom conservative slowly varying Hamiltonian systems are analyzed in the case in which a saddle-center pair undergo a transcritical bifurcation. We analyze the case in which the method of averaging predicts the solution crosses the unperturbed homoclinic orbit at the precise time at which the transcritical bifurcation occurs. For the slow passage through the nonhyperbolic homoclinic orbit associated with a transcritical bifurcation, the solution consists of a large sequence of nonhyperbolic homoclinic orbits surrounded by autonomous nonlinear saddle approaches. The change in action is computed by matching these solutions to those obtained by averaging, valid before and after crossing the nonhyperbolic homoclinic orbit. For initial conditions near the stable manifold of the nonhyperbolic saddle point, one saddle approach has particularly small energy and instead satisfies a nonautonomous nonlinear equation, which provides a transition between nonhyperbolic homoclinic orbits, centers, and saddles. We propose a variational method for determining homoclinic and heteroclinic orbits including spiral-shaped ones in nonlinear dynamical systems. Starting from a suitable initial curve, a homotopy evolution equation is used to approach a true connecting orbit. The procedure is an extension of a variational method that has been used previously for locating cycles, and avoids the need for linearization in search of simple connecting orbits. Examples of homoclinic and heteroclinic orbits for typical dynamical systems are presented. In particular, several heteroclinic orbits of the steady-state Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation are found, which display interesting topological structures, closely related to those of the corresponding periodic orbits.  相似文献

The effect of symmetry on bifurcations associated with homoclinic orbits to saddle-foci is analysed. With symmetry each homoclinic bifurcation contributes three periodic orbits to the global bifurcation picture as opposed to a single orbit in the general case. Bifurcations on these orbits are studied: there are sequences of saddle-node and period-doubling bifurcations, chaos and more complicated homoclinic orbits.  相似文献

The splitting of separatrices of hyperbolic fixed points for exact symplectic maps of n degrees of freedom is considered. The non-degenerate critical points of a real-valued function (called the Melnikov potential) are associated to transverse homoclinic orbits and an asymptotic expression for the symplectic area between homoclinic orbits is given. Moreover, if the unperturbed invariant manifolds are completely doubled, it is shown that there exist, in general, at least $4$ primary homoclinic orbits (4n in antisymmetric maps). Both lower bounds are optimal. Two examples are presented: a 2n-dimensional central standard-like map and the Hamiltonian map associated to a magnetized spherical pendulum. We summarize various cases where chaotic orbits can be described analytically. First we consider the case of a magnetic bottle where we have non-resonant and resonant ordered and chaotic orbits. In the sequence we consider the hyperbolic Hénon map, where chaos appears mainly around the origin, which is an unstable periodic orbit. In this case the chaotic orbits around the origin are represented by analytic series (Moser series). We find the domain of convergence of these Moser series and of similar series around other unstable periodic orbits. The asymptotic manifolds from the various unstable periodic orbits intersect at homoclinic and heteroclinic orbits that are given analytically. Then we consider some Hamiltonian systems and we find their homoclinic orbits by using a new method of analytic prolongation. An application of astronomical interest is the domain of convergence of the analytical series that determine the spiral structure of barred-spiral galaxies.  相似文献

同宿轨的求解是非线性系统领域的核心问题之一, 特别是对动力系统分岔与混沌的研究有重要意义. 根据同宿轨的几何特点, 采用轨线逼近的方式, 通过定义逼近轨线与鞍点的距离, 将同宿轨的求解转化为求距离最小值的无约束非线性优化问题. 为了提高优化结果的完整性, 还提出了基于区间细分的搜索算法和实现方法, 并找出了Lorenz系统, Shimizu-Morioka系统和超混沌Lorenz系统等的多个同宿轨道和对应参数, 验证了本文方法的有效性. 关键词: 混沌 同宿轨 非线性系统 数值计算  相似文献

We present a method for proving the existence of symmetric periodic, heteroclinic or homoclinic orbits in dynamical systems with the reversing symmetry. As an application we show that the Planar Restricted Circular Three Body Problem (PCR3BP) corresponding to the Sun-Jupiter-Oterma system possesses an infinite number of symmetric periodic orbits and homoclinic orbits to the Lyapunov orbits. Moreover, we show the existence of symbolic dynamics on six symbols for PCR3BP and the possibility of resonance transitions of the comet. This extends earlier results by Wilczak and Zgliczynski [12]. In this paper we study the dynamics near resonant elliptic equilibria in three-degree-of-freedom Hamiltonian systems. The resonances we consider have multiplicity two, and the corresponding local normal form for the equilibrium is integrable at cubic order. We prove the existence of families of 3-tori and whiskered 2-tori with nearby chaotic dynamics in the quartic normal form. The whiskers of the 2-tori intersect in a non-trivial way giving rise to multi-pulse homoclinic and heteroclinic connections. These connections survive in the full system as orbits homoclinic to invariant 3-spheres.  相似文献

We consider the damped and driven dynamics of two interacting particles evolving in a symmetric and spatially periodic potential. The latter is exerted to a time-periodic modulation of its inclination. Our interest is twofold: First, we deal with the issue of chaotic motion in the higher-dimensional phase space. To this end, a homoclinic Melnikov analysis is utilised assuring the presence of transverse homoclinic orbits and homoclinic bifurcations for weak coupling allowing also for the emergence of hyperchaos. In contrast, we also prove that the time evolution of the two coupled particles attains a completely synchronised (chaotic) state for strong enough coupling between them. The resulting "freezing of dimensionality" rules out the occurrence of hyperchaos. Second, we address coherent collective particle transport provided by regular periodic motion. A subharmonic Melnikov analysis is utilised to investigate persistence of periodic orbits. For directed particle transport mediated by rotating periodic motion, we present exact results regarding the collective character of the running solutions entailing the emergence of a current. We show that coordinated energy exchange between the particles takes place in such a manner that they are enabled to overcome--one particle followed by the other--consecutive barriers of the periodic potential resulting in collective directed motion.  相似文献

In perturbations of integrable two degree of freedom Hamiltonian systems, the invariant (KAM) tori are typically separated by zones of instability or resonance bands inhabited by elliptic and hyperbolic periodic orbits and homoclinic orbits. We indicate how the Melnikov method or the method of averaging can asymptotically predict the widths of these bands in specific cases and we compare these predictions with numerical computations for a pair of linearly coupled simple pendula. We conclude that, even for low order resonances, the first order asymptotic results are generally useful only for very small coupling (ε10-4).  相似文献

在非线性电路中蔡氏电路是迄今为止产生复杂动力学行为的最为有效和较为简单的电路之一。从软件仿真和电路制作两个角度分别对蔡氏电路的特性进行了研究,讨论蔡氏电路的工作原理,分别用PSPICE和MATLAB软件仿真出蔡氏电路的相关特性,并制作出硬件电路,给出观察蔡氏电路周期1、周期2极限环及单涡卷和双涡卷混沌吸引子的实验结果,得出了与理论分析一致的结果。对进一步研究和设计专用混沌集成电路及混沌在保密通信中的应用具有积极的意义。  相似文献

In this paper,the complicated dynamics and multi-pulse homoclinic orbits of a two-degree-of-freedom parametrically excited nonlinear nano-oscillator with coupled cubic nonlinearities are studied.The damping,parametrical excitation and the nonlinearities are regarded as weak.The averaged equation depicting the fast and slow dynamics is derived through the method of multiple scales.The dynamics near the resonance band is revealed by doing a singular perturbation analysis and combining the extended Melnikov method.We are able to determine the criterion for the existence of the multi-pulse homoclinic orbits which can form the Shilnikov orbits and give rise to chaos.At last,numerical results are also given to illustrate the nonlinear behaviors and chaotic motions in the nonlinear nano-oscillator.  相似文献
