Ritt’s theorem and the Heins map in hyperbolic complex manifolds

Let X be a Kobayashi hyperbolic complex manifold, and assume that X does not contain compact complex submanifolds of positive dimension (e.g., X Stein). We shall prove the following generalization of Ritt’s theorem: every holomorphic self-map f:X→X such that f(X) is relatively compact in X has a unique fixed point τ(f) ∈ X, which is attracting. Furthermore, we shall prove that τ(f) depends holomorphically on f in a suitable sense, generalizing results by Heins, Joseph-Kwack and the second author.     

Projections and regularity of abstract processes

In this note we shall prove the existence of optional and predictable projections of stochastic processes X taking values in a Banach space E. Furthermore, if the range of X is contained in a compact set and if X is cadlag (respectively caglad), then the optional (respectively predictable) projection possesses the same property. Finally, we shall prove that every E-valued martingale has a cadlag modification     

周期点与Lefschetz-zeta函数

拓扑遍历与拓扑双重遍历

令X为紧致度量空间,f:X→X为连续映射,U,V为X的任意非空开集,若{n>0|fn(U)∩V≠ )为正上密度集,则称f拓扑遍历.f拓扑双重遍历意味着f×f拓扑遍历.本文在[2]的基础上进一步讨论拓扑遍历与拓扑双重遍历映射的性质.     

弱混合的一个等价条件

Let X be a compact metric space containing at least two points and let f ： X → X be continuous. In this paper, we introduce the notion of totally maximum sensitive （TMS, for short） and prove that f is weakly mixing if and only if it is TMS, and if X = [0, 1], then f is weakly mixing if and only if it is 2-maximum sensitive.

On holomorphic immersions into K(a)hler manifolds of constant holomorphic sectional curvature

We study holomorphic immersions f: X → M from a complex manifold X into a Kahler manifold of constant holomorphic sectional curvature M, i.e. a complex hyperbolic space form, a complex Euclidean space form, or the complex projective space equipped with the Fubini-Study metric. For X compact we show that the tangent sequence splits holomorphically if and only if f is a totally geodesic immersion. For X not necessarily compact we relate an intrinsic cohomological invariant p(X) on X, viz. the invariant defined by Gunning measuring the obstruction to the existence of holomorphic projective connections, to an extrinsic cohomological invariant v(f)measuring the obstruction to the holomorphic splitting of the tangent sequence. The two invariants p(X) and v(f) are related by a linear map on cohomology groups induced by the second fundamental form.In some cases, especially when X is a complex surface and M is of complex dimension 4, under the assumption that X admits a holomorphic projective connection we obtain a sufficient condition for the holomorphic splitting of the tangent sequence in terms of the second fundamental form.     

改进的Tsirelson空间TM上的Wigner定理

一类集值映射的周期点与混沌

设X为完备的紧致度量空间,k(X)为X的所有非空紧子集赋予Hausdorff度量所得的空间,■为f到k(X)的自然扩张.本文研究了动力系统(k(X),■)与动力系统(X,f)的周期点之间的相互关系.利用所得结论,彻底解决了Fedeli和廖公夫等人提出的一些公开问题.     

Coincidence Wecken Property for Nilmanifolds

Let f, g: X → Y be maps from a compact infra-nilmanifold X to a compact nilmanifold Y with dim X ≥ dim Y. In this note, we show that a certain Wecken type property holds, i.e., if the Nielsen number N(f, g) vanishes then f and g are deformable to be coincidence free. We also show that if X is a connected finite complex X and the Reidemeister coincidence number R(f, g) = ∞ then f ～ f' so that C(f', g) = {x ∈ X | f'(x) = g(x)} is empty.     

COMPOSITION OPERATORS ON ANALYTIC VECTOR-VALUED NEVANLINNA CLASSES

Let φ be an analytic self-map of the complex unit disk and X a Banach space. This paper studies the action of composition operator Cφ： f→foφ on the vector-valued Nevanlinna classes N（X） and Na（X）. Certain criteria for such operators to be weakly compact are given. As a consequence, this paper shows that the composition operator Cφ is weakly compact on N（X） and Na（X） if and only if it is weakly compact on the vector-valued Hardy space H^1 （X） and Bergman space B1（X） respectively.     

Division and k-th root theorems for Q-manifolds

We prove that a locally compact ANR-space X is a Q-manifold if and only if it has the Disjoint Disk Property (DDP), all points of X are homological Z∞-points and X has the countable-dimensional approximation property (cd-AP), which means that each map f:K→X of a compact polyhedron can be approximated by a map with the countable-dimensional image. As an application we prove that a space X with DDP and cd-AP is a Q-manifold if some finite power of X is a Q-manifold. If some finite power of a space X with cd-AP is a Q-manifold, then X2 and X×[0,1] are Q-manifolds as well. We construct a countable familyχof spaces with DDP and cd-AP such that no space X∈χis homeomorphic to the Hilbert cube Q whereas the product X×Y of any different spaces X, Y∈χis homeomorphic to Q. We also show that no uncountable familyχwith such properties exists.     

K—半分层空间是闭映射的不变量

本文证明了：若Ｘ是Ｋ－半分层空间，ｆ是闭映射，则ｆ（Ｘ）是Ｋ－半分层空间，这一结果推广改进了Ｌｕｔｚｅｒ与高国士的有关结果。     

τ-CHEBYSHEV AND τ-COCHEBYSHEV SUBPSACES OF BANACH SPACES

The concepts of quasi-Chebyshev and weakly-Chebyshev and σ-Chebyshev were defined [3 - 7], and as a counterpart to best approximation in normed linear spaces, best coapproximation was introduced by Franchetti and Furi[1]. In this research, we shall define τ-Chebyshev subspaces and τ-cochebyshev subspaces of a Banach space, in which the property τ is compact or weakly-compact, respectively. A set of necessary and sufficient theorems under which a subspace is τ-Chebyshev is defined.     

Compact homomorphisms between uniform Fréchet algebras

We study compact homomorphisms between uniform Fréchet algebras, by analyzing the behavior of its spectral adjoint on the underlying spectrum. We prove that every compact homomorphism between uniform Fréchet algebras actually ranges into a uniform Banach algebra, and that its spectral adjointmaps τ-bounded subsets into relatively τ-compact subsets, when τ is the strong or the compact-open topology.     

The AR-property for Roberts' example of a compact convex set with no extreme points Part 1: general result

We prove that the original compact convex set with no extreme points, constructed by Roberts (1977) is an absolute retract, therefore is homeomorphic to the Hilbert cube. Our proof consists of two parts. In this first part, we give a sufficient condition for a Roberts space to be an AR. In the second part of the paper, we shall apply this to show that the example of Roberts is an AR.

     

G-invariante Morse-funktionen

If f is a Morse function on a smooth manifold M there exists a homotopy equivalence from M to a CW complex X such that the critical points of f with index are in a one-one correspondence to the -cells of X. In the equivariant case, a similar result holds for a special type of invariant Morse functions. In this paper we prove the existence of such special invariant Morse functions on compact smooth G-manifolds. As a consequence, any compact smooth G-manifold is homotopy equivalent to a G-CW complex. Other applications deal with the Euler number of the fixed point set and Morse inequalities in equivariant homology theory.     

Fell-拓扑的伪紧性（英文）

设X是拓扑空间，CL（X）表示X的所有非空闭子集的族，本文得到了下述结果：在CL（X）上的Fell-拓扑是伪肾的当且仅当X是feebly-紧或者非局部紧或者非σ－紧，由此得到了对于伪紧性不是闭遗传的两类新的拓扑空间。

本文给出紧致度量空间逐点伪轨跟踪性质的定义,该定义是伪轨跟踪性质定义的推广.作为应用,证明如下结论:(i)若f具有逐点伪轨跟踪性质,且对任意k∈Z ,fk为链转换的,那么对任意k∈Z ,fk为开集转换;(ii)若f具有逐点伪轨跟踪性质,且对任意n∈Z ,fn为链转换的,则f具有初始敏感依赖性质;(iii)若f为开集混合的,且具有逐点伪轨跟踪性质,那么f具有性质P;(iv)设f:(X,d)→(X,d)是同胚映射,那么f具有逐点伪轨跟踪性质当且仅当移位映射σf具有逐点伪轨跟踪性质.
