We consider the problem of whether the equation △u = p(x)f(u) on RN, N ≥ 3, has a positive solution for which lim |x|→∞(x) = ∞ where f is locally Lipschitz continuous, positive, and nondecreasing on (0,oo) and satisfies ∫1∞[F (t)]^- 1/2dt = ∞ where F(t) = ∫0^tf(s)ds. The nonnegative function p is assumed to be asymptotically radial in a certain sense. We show that a sufficient condition to ensure such a solution u exists is that p satisfies ∫0∞ r min|x|=r P (x) dr = ∞. Conversely, we show that a necessary condition for the solution to exist is that p satisfies ∫0∞r1+ε min |x|=rp(x)dr =∞ for all ε〉0.  相似文献

We consider the quasilinear Schrdinger equations of the form-ε~2?u + V(x)u- ε~2?(u2)u = g(u), x ∈ R~N,where ε 0 is a small parameter, the nonlinearity g(u) ∈ C~1(R) is an odd function with subcritical growth and V(x) is a positive Hlder continuous function which is bounded from below, away from zero, and infΛV(x) inf ?ΛV(x) for some open bounded subset Λ of RN. We prove that there is an ε0 0 such that for all ε∈(0, ε0],the above mentioned problem possesses a sign-changing solution uε which exhibits concentration profile around the local minimum point of V(x) as ε→ 0~+.  相似文献

We consider the solution of the good Boussinesq equation Utt -Uxx + Uxxxx = (U2)xx, -∞ 〈 x 〈 ∞, t ≥ 0, with periodic initial value U(x, 0) = ε(μ + φ(x)), Ut(x, 0) = εψ(x), -∞ 〈 x 〈 ∞, where μ = 0, φ(x) and ψ(x) are 2π-periodic functions with 0-average value in [0, 2π], and ε is small. A two parameter Bcklund transformation is found and provide infinite conservation laws for the good Boussinesq equation. The periodic solution is then shown to be uniformly bounded for all small ε, and the H1-norm is uniformly bounded and thus guarantees the global existence. In the case when the initial data is in the simplest form φ(x) = μ+a sin kx, ψ(x) = b cos kx, an approximation to the solution containing two terms is constructed via the method of multiple scales. By using the energy method, we show that for any given number T 〉 0, the difference between the true solution u(x, t; ε) and the N-th partial sum of the asymptotic series is bounded by εN+1 multiplied by a constant depending on T and N, for all -∞ 〈 x 〈 ∞, 0 ≤ |ε|t ≤ T and 0 ≤ |ε|≤ε0.  相似文献

For a strongly connected digraph D the minimum ,cardinality of an arc-cut over all arc-cuts restricted arc-connectivity λ′(D) is defined as the S satisfying that D - S has a non-trivial strong component D1 such that D - V(D1) contains an arc. Let S be a subset of vertices of D. We denote by w+(S) the set of arcs uv with u ∈ S and v S, and by w-(S) the set of arcs uv with u S and v ∈ S. A digraph D = (V, A) is said to be λ′-optimal if λ′(D) =ξ′(D), where ξ′(D) is the minimum arc-degree of D defined as ξ(D) = min {ξ′(xy) : xy ∈ A}, and ξ′(xy) = min(|ω+({x,y})|, |w-({x,y})|, |w+(x) ∪ w- (y) |, |w- (x) ∪ω+ (y)|}. In this paper a sufficient condition for a s-geodetic strongly connected digraph D to be λ′-optimal is given in terms of its diameter. Furthermore we see that the h-iterated line digraph Lh(D) of a s-geodetic digraph is λ′-optimal for certain iteration h.  相似文献

We study capillary spreadings of thin films of liquids of power-law rheology. These satisfy ut+(u^λ+2|uxxx|^λ-1uxxx)x=0,where u (x, t) represents the thickness of the one-dimensional liquid and λ 〉 1. We look for traveling wave solutions so that u(x,t) =g(x+ct) and thus g satisfies g'''=|g-ε|^1/λ/g^1+2/λ sgn(g-ε) We show that for each ε 〉 0 there is an infinitely oscillating solution, gε, such that limt→∞ gε=ε and that gε→ g0 as ε → O, where g0≡ 0 for t ≥ 0 and g0=cλ|t|3λ/2λ+1 for t〈0 for some constant cλ.  相似文献

We study the well-posedness of the equations with fractional derivative D^αu(t) = Au(t) + f(t),0≤ t ≤ 2π, where A is a closed operator in a Banach space X, α 〉 0 and D^α is the fractional derivative in the sense of Weyl. Using known results on LP-multipliers, we give necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the LP-well-posedness of this problem. The conditions we give involve the resolvent of A and the Rademacher boundedness. Corresponding results on the well-posedness of this problem in periodic Besov spaces, periodic Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and periodic Hardy spaces are also obtained.  相似文献

In this work we prove that the initial value problem of the Benney-Lin equation ut + uxxx + β(uxx + u xxxx) + ηuxxxxx + uux = 0 (x ∈ R, t ≥0 0), where β 〉 0 and η∈R, is locally well-posed in Sobolev spaces HS(R) for s ≥ -7/5. The method we use to prove this result is the bilinear estimate method initiated by Bourgain.  相似文献

Main aim of this article is to study the relation between solutions to the above Cauchy problem and those to the Riemann problem of the following nonlinear conservation law It is well known that if u_ 〈 u+, the above Riemann problem admits a unique global entropy solution u^R(x/t) u^R(x/t)={u_,(f′)^-1(x/t),u+, x≤f′(u_)t, f′(u_)t≤x≤f′(u+)t, x≥f′(u+)t. Let U(t, x) be the smooth approximation of the rarefaction wave profile constructed similar to that of [21, 22, 23], we show that if u0(x) - U(0,x) ∈ H^1(R) and u_ 〈 u+, the above Cauchy problem (E) and (I) admits a unique global classical solution u(t, x) which tends to the rarefaction wave u^R(x/t) as → +∞ in the maximum norm. In this paper, we prove higher integrability results for the gradient of the solutions of some elliptic equations with degenerate coercivity whose prototype is where for example, a(x,u)=(1+|u|)−θ with θ ∈ (0,1). In this paper, we consider the following second order three-point boundary value problem u″(t)+a(t)f(u(t))=0,0〈t〈1,u(0)-u(1)=0,u'(0)-u'(1)=u(1/2),where a : (0, 1) → [0, ∞) is symmetric on (0, 1) and may be singular at t = 0 and t = 1, f : [0, ∞) → [O, ∞) is continuous. By using Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem ia a cone, we get some existence results of positive solutions for the problem. An n-set partition of a sequence S is a collection of n nonempty subsequences of S, pairwise disjoint as sequences, such that every term of S belongs to exactly one of the subsequences, and the terms in each subsequence are all distinct so that they can be considered as sets. If S is a sequence of m+n−1 elements from a finite abelian group G of order m and exponent k, and if is a sequence of integers whose sum is zero modulo k, then there exists a rearranged subsequence of S such that . This extends the Erdős–Ginzburg–Ziv Theorem, which is the case when m = n and wi = 1 for all i, and confirms a conjecture of Y. Caro. Furthermore, we in part verify a related conjecture of Y.
