In this paper, we study the commutativity of Toeplitz operators with radial symbols on the pluriharmonic Bergman space. We obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for the commutativity of bounded Toeplitz operator and Toeplitz operator with radial symbol on the pluriharmonic Bergman space.     

Positive Schatten(-Herz) Class Toeplitz Operators on Pluriharmonic Bergman Spaces

We study characterizations of arbitrary positive Toeplitz operators of Schatten (or Schatten-Herz) type in terms of averaging functions and Berezin transforms of symbol functions on the ball of pluriharmonic Bergman space. This work was supported by a Hanshin University Research Grant.

CONSTRUCTION OF PLURIHARMONIC MAPS INTO COMPLEX GRASSMANN MANIFOLDS

In this paper, some construction theorems of pluriharmonic maps into complex Grassmann manifolds axe obtained. By these, there exists a characterization of strongly isotropic pluriharmonic maps.     

Equivalent moduli of continuity, Bloch’s theorem for pluriharmonic mappings in \mathbb{B}{\kern-8pt}\mathbb{B}^{\boldsymbol n}

In this paper, we first establish a Schwarz?CPick type theorem for pluriharmonic mappings and then we apply it to discuss the equivalent norms on Lipschitz-type spaces. Finally, we obtain several Landau??s and Bloch??s type theorems for pluriharmonic mappings.     

Singular parts of pluriharmonic measures

A measure μ defined on the complex sphere S is called pluriharmonic if its Poisson integral is a pluriharmonic function (in the unit ball of ℂⁿ). A probability measure ρ is called representing if ∫_Sfdp=f(0) for all f in the ball algebra. It is shown that singular parts of pluriharmonic measures and representing measures are mutually singular. Partial energies monotonicity and holomorphicity of Hermitian pluriharmonic maps

In this paper,we introduce the notion of Hermitian pluriharmonic maps from Hermitian manifold into K¨ahler manifold.Assuming the domain manifolds possess some special exhaustion functions and the vecotor field V=JMδJM satisfies some decay conditions,we use stress-energy tensors to establish some monotonicity formulas of partial energies of Hermitian pluriharmonic maps.These monotonicity inequalities enable us to derive some holomorphicity for these Hermitian pluriharmonic maps.     

On a Relation Between Potentials for Pluriharmonic Maps and Para-Pluriharmonic Maps

In this paper, we show that one can interrelate pluriharmonic maps with para-pluriharmonic maps by means of the loop group method. As an appendix, we give examples for the interrelation between pluriharmonic maps and para-pluriharmonic maps. Moreover, we investigate the relation among CMC-surfaces by use of such maps.     

Commutators and Semi-commutators of Monomial Toeplitz Operators on the Pluriharmonic Hardy Space

In this paper, the authors completely characterize the finite rank commutator and semi-commutator of two monomial Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Hardy space of the torus or the unit sphere. As a consequence, many non-trivial examples of (semi-)commuting Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Hardy spaces are given.     

Associated families of pluriharmonic maps and isotropy

Like minimal surface immersions in 3-space, pluriharmonic maps into symmetric spaces allow a one-parameter family of isometric deformations rotating the differential (“associated family”); in fact, pluriharmonic maps are characterized by this property. We give a geometric proof of this fact and investigate the “isotropic” case where this family is constant. It turns out that isotropic pluriharmonic maps arise from certain holomorphic maps into flag manifolds. Further, we also consider higher dimensional generalizations of constant mean curvature surfaces which are Kähler submanifolds with parallel (1,1) part of their soecond fundamental form; under certain restrictions there are also characterized by having some kind of (“weak”) associated family. Examples where this family is constant arise from extrinsic Kähler symmetric spaces.     

Curved flats,pluriharmonic maps and constant curvature immersions into pseudo-Riemannian space forms

We study two aspects of the loop group formulation for isometric immersions with flat normal bundle of space forms. The first aspect is to examine the loop group maps along different ranges of the loop parameter. This leads to various equivalences between global isometric immersion problems among different space forms and pseudo-Riemannian space forms. As a corollary, we obtain a non-immersibility theorem for spheres into certain pseudo-Riemannian spheres and hyperbolic spaces. The second aspect pursued is to clarify the relationship between the loop group formulation of isometric immersions of space forms and that of pluriharmonic maps into symmetric spaces. We show that the objects in the first class are, in the real analytic case, extended pluriharmonic maps into certain symmetric spaces which satisfy an extra reality condition along a totally real submanifold. We show how to construct such pluriharmonic maps for general symmetric spaces from curved flats, using a generalised DPW method.      

Expansion of the boundaries of the solutions of the linear Volterra integral equations with convolution kernel

We solve a certain differential equation and system of integral equations. As applications, we characterize holomorphic symbols of commuting Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Bergman space. In addition, pluriharmonic symbols of normal Toeplitz operators are characterized. Also, zero semi-commutators for certain classes of Toeplitz operators are characterized.This research is partially supported by KOSEF(98-0701-03-01-5).     

Dirichlet problem for pluriholomorphic functions of two complex variables

In this paper the Dirichlet problem for pluriholomorphic functions of two complex variables is investigated. The key point is the relation between pluriholomorphic functions and pluriharmonic functions. The link is constituted by the Fueter-regular functions of one quaternionic variable. Previous results about the boundary values of pluriharmonic functions and new results on L² traces of regular functions are applied to obtain a characterization of the traces of pluriholomorphic functions.

Finite Sums of Toeplitz Products on the Polydisk

On the Bergman space of the unit polydisk, we study a class of operators which contains sums of finitely many Toeplitz products with pluriharmonic symbols. We give characterizations of when an operator in that class has finite rank or is compact. As one of applications we show that sums of a certain number, depending on and increasing with the dimension, of semicommutators of Toeplitz operators with pluriharmonic symbols cannot be compact without being the zero operator.
