In this paper, the existence of solutions to a class of fractional differential equations $D_{0+}^{\alpha}u(t)=h(t)f(t, u(t), D_{0+}^{\theta}u(t))$ is obtained by an efficient and simple monotone iteration method. At first, the existence of a solution to the problem above is guaranteed by finding a bounded domain $D_M$ on functions $f$ and $g$. Then, sufficient conditions for the existence of monotone solution to the problem are established by applying monotone iteration method. Moreover, two efficient iterative schemes are proposed, and the convergence of the iterative process is proved by using the monotonicity assumption on $f$ and $g$. In particular, a new algorithm which combines Gauss-Kronrod quadrature method with cubic spline interpolation method is adopted to achieve the monotone iteration method in Matlab environment, and the high-precision approximate solution is obtained. Finally, the main results of the paper are illustrated by some numerical simulations, and the approximate solutions graphs are provided by using the iterative method.  相似文献

By a monotone representation of the nonlinearity we derive sufficient (and partly necessary) conditions for the unique existence of positive solutions of the Hammerstein integral equation $$\begin{array}{*{20}c} {u(x) = \int\limits_D {f(y,u(y)) k(x,y) dy ,} } & {x \in D,} \\ \end{array} $$ and for the convergence of successive approximations towards the solution. Further we study the corresponding nonlinear eigenvalue problem. Essentially we assume that the integral kernel k satisfies appropriate positivity conditions and that, for the nonlinearity f and any y ∈ D, rf(y,r) strictly monotone increases and f(y,r)/r strictly monotone decreases as r>0 increases.  相似文献

Let E be a nontrivial Banach space. The concept of picture has been used to provide a new proof of the surjectivity of S+J, for E reflexive and S: E2 E * maximal monotone. It is known that if E is reflexive, then the picture of a maximal monotone subset of E×E * is a singleton. We calculate an example showing that in the nonreflexive case, the picture of a maximal monotone subset can be quite substantial.  相似文献

This paper is about a monotone approximation scheme for extremal (least or greatest) solutions of the following variational inequality:u∈K:〈Au+F(u),v−u〉⩾0,∀v∈K,in the interval between some appropriately defined sub- and supersolutions. The variational inequality is approximated by a sequence of penalty equations. The extremal solutions of the penalty equations, constructed iteratively and forming a monotone sequence, are proved to converge to the corresponding solutions of the original inequality. In this paper, we introduce an iterative process which converges strongly to a common element of fixed points of pseudo-contractive mapping and solutions of variational inequality problem for monotone mapping. As a consequence, we provide an iteration scheme which converges strongly to a common element of set of fixed points of finite family continuous pseudo-contractive mappings and solutions set of finite family of variational inequality problems for continuous monotone mappings. Our theorems extend and unify most of the results that have been proved for this class of nonlinear mappings.  相似文献
