多元多项式齐次方程组的一个解法

本文对多元多项式齐次方程组给出一种解法，并给出其解子模的基所含向量的个数在最坏情况时的下界。

The Siegel norm,the length function and character values of finite groups

In this paper we present some new results on the connection between the Siegel norm, the length function and irreducible character values of finite groups. In addition, we provide algorithms to compute the length of a cyclotomic integer and the set of cyclotomic integers with Siegel norm bounded by a given positive real number.

The diffeomorphic types of the complements of arrangements in ??3 II

For any arrangement of hyperplanes in ℂℙ³, we introduce the soul of this arrangement. The soul, which is a pseudo-complex, is determined by the combinatorics of the arrangement of hyperplanes. In this paper, we give a sufficient combinatoric condition for two arrangements of hyperplanes to be diffeomorphic to each other. In particular we have found sufficient conditions on combinatorics for the arrangement of hyperplanes whose moduli space is connected. This generalizes our previous result on hyperplane point arrangements in ℂℙ³. This work was partially supported by NSA grant and NSF grant

A generalization of Alon–Aydinian–Huang theorem

Let $S_{n,k}^m$ be the collection of sets of real numbers of size n, in which every subset of size larger than k has a sum less than m, where $n\ge k+1$, and m is some real number. Denote by $a_{n,k}^m$ the maximum number of nonempty subsets of a set in $S_{n,k}^m$ with a sum at least m. In particular, when $m=0$, Alon, Aydinian, Huang ((2014) [1]) proved that $a_{n,k}^0={\sum }_{i=0}^{k?1}\left(\begin{array}{c}n?1\\ i\end{array}\right)$, where two technical proofs, based on a weighted version of Hall's theorem and an extension of the nonuniform Erd?s–Ko–Rado theorem, were presented. In this note, we extend their elegant result from $m=0$ to any real number m, and show that $a_{n,k}^m=\{\begin{array}{cc}{\sum }_{i=0}^{k?1}\left(\begin{array}{c}n?1\\ i\end{array}\right)\hfill & \text{ if }m\ge 0\hfill \\ {\sum }_{i=1}^k\left(\begin{array}{c}n\\ i\end{array}\right)\hfill & \text{ if }m<0\hfill \end{array}$. Our proof is obtained by exploring the recurrence relation and initial conditions of $a_{n,k}^m$.     

A Note on the Theorems of Church-Turing and Trachtenbrot

有向图幂敛指数的Brualdi-Ross型上界

本文证明了n阶恰含i个极小强连通分支的有向图的幂敛指数的一个Brualdi-Ross型上界,并给出了幂敛指数达到此上界的有向图的完全刻划。     

Optimal-order quadratic interpolation in vertices of unstructured triangulations

We study the problem of Lagrange interpolation of functions of two variables by quadratic polynomials under the condition that nodes of interpolation are vertices of a triangulation. For an extensive class of triangulations we prove that every inner vertex belongs to a local six-tuple of vertices which, used as nodes of interpolation, have the following property: For every smooth function there exists a unique quadratic Lagrange interpolation polynomial and the related local interpolation error is of optimal order. The existence of such six-tuples of vertices is a precondition for a successful application of certain post-processing procedures to the finite-element approximations of the solutions of differential problems. 重积分的对称性质

在重积分的计算中,经常要用到对称性质.而限于时间和篇幅,现行大多数教科书上都不加讨论的引用对称性质.这就使初学者感到重积分的对称性质不好掌握.本文通过重积分的变量替换公式,给出重积分对称性质的一个一般定理和两个推论,最后给出一个具体实例.     

国民经济的最优增长模型

本文利用 Cobb-Douglas生产函数建立了一类描述国民经济收入和积累率关系的数学模型 ,并利用该模型求出了国家预定经济增长目标下的计划投资量以及保持国民经济快速增长的合理的投资量和消费目标 .     

Hypergroups on two tori

We classify all hypergroup structures on two disjoint tori and on two disjoint real lines. We show that both spaces admit many hypergroup structures, and that all examples can be constructed from group cases by substitution of open subhypergroups together with certain deformations of the group convolutions.     

煤矸石堆积问题的电费计算

本文设计了一种矸石堆的成堆方法 :在堆积若干年之后 ,后移一定距离重新堆积并将之前的矸石堆覆盖 ,这一方法在文 [1 ]的基础上使电费的值继续减少 ,并计算了两次成堆情况下不同出矸率对应的电费值 .     

On the location of critical points of polynomials

Given a polynomial of degree and with at least two distinct roots let . For a fixed root we define the quantities and . We also define and to be the corresponding minima of and as runs over . Our main results show that the ratios and are bounded above and below by constants that only depend on the degree of . In particular, we prove that , for any polynomial of degree .

     

The spectra of nonnegative integer matrices via formal power series

We characterize the possible nonzero spectra of primitive integer matrices (the integer case of Boyle and Handelman's Spectral Conjecture). Characterizations of nonzero spectra of nonnegative matrices over and follow from this result. For the proof of the main theorem we use polynomial matrices to reduce the problem of realizing a candidate spectrum to factoring the polynomial as a product where the 's are polynomials in satisfying some technical conditions and is a formal power series in . To obtain the factorization, we present a hierarchy of estimates on coefficients of power series of the form to ensure nonpositivity in nonzero degree terms.

     

On the Asymptotics of Eigenvalues of an Analytical Pencil of Operators

We study the asymptotic behavior of eigenvalues of a perturbed pencil of operators in Banach spaces. We prove theorems on branching of an isolated eigenvalue into a finite number of simple eigenvalues. In addition, we deduce conditions for obtaining the asymptotics of a given form.
