| Abstract: | We study the asymptotic behavior of eigenvalues of a perturbed pencil of operators in Banach spaces. We prove theorems on branching of an isolated eigenvalue into a finite number of simple eigenvalues. In addition, we deduce conditions for obtaining the asymptotics of a given form. |
