有关法曲率的若干性质

以[2]中经典微分几何问题为切入点,运用复数与三角工具广泛深入地探讨了“过曲面上一点有n条切线,若相邻两条切线的交角为2nπ,曲面法线与切线所定平面截得曲线的曲率半径为ρ1,ρ2,ρ3,…,ρn时,∑ni=11ρim,∑ni=1ρi,∏ni=1ρi的结果”,得到了法曲率与相关的三个有趣定理.     

A Quasisteady Stefan Problem with Curvature Correction and Kinetic Undercooling

A quasisteady Stefan problem with curvature correction and kinetic undercooling is considered. It is a problem with phase transition, in which not only the Stefan condition, but also the curvature correction and kinetic undercooling effect hold on the free boundary, and in phase regions elliptic equations are satisfied by the unknown temperature at each time. The existence and uniqueness of a local classical solution of this problem are obtained.     

Sprays metrizable by Finsler functions of constant flag curvature

In this paper we characterize sprays that are metrizable by Finsler functions of constant flag curvature. By solving a particular case of the Finsler metrizability problem, we provide the necessary and sufficient conditions that can be used to decide whether or not a given homogeneous system of second order ordinary differential equations represents the geodesic equations of a Finsler function of constant flag curvature. The conditions we provide are tensorial equations on the Jacobi endomorphism. We identify the class of homogeneous SODE where the Finsler metrizability is equivalent with the metrizability by a Finsler function of constant flag curvature.     

A Stefan Problem with Curvature Correction in a Concentrated Capacity

We consider a Stefan problem with the curvature correction in a concentrated capacity. It is a kind of phase transition problems, in which the unknown temperature satisfies both the Stefan condition and the curvature correction on the free boundary, and also fulfills a kind of heat equations with special inner heat source. The inner beat source is related to the derivative of the temperature with respect to the direction vertical to the phase regions. The result established in this paper is the existence of a global weak solution of this problem.

Ricci flow on a 3-manifold with positive scalar curvature

In this paper we consider Hamilton's Ricci flow on a 3-manifold with a metric of positive scalar curvature. We establish several a priori estimates for the Ricci flow which we believe are important in understanding possible singularities of the Ricci flow. For Ricci flow with initial metric of positive scalar curvature, we obtain a sharp estimate on the norm of the Ricci curvature in terms of the scalar curvature (which is not trivial even if the initial metric has non-negative Ricci curvature, a fact which is essential in Hamilton's estimates [R.S. Hamilton, Three-manifolds with positive Ricci curvature, J. Differential Geom. 17 (1982) 255-306]), some L²-estimates for the gradients of the Ricci curvature, and finally the Harnack type estimates for the Ricci curvature. These results are established through careful (and rather complicated and lengthy) computations, integration by parts and the maximum principles for parabolic equations.     

Finsler空间上的Weyl曲率

The Weyl curvature of a Finsler metric is investigated. This curvature constructed from Riemannain curvature. It is an important projective invariant of Finsler metrics. The author gives the necessary conditions on Weyl curvature for a Finsler metric to be Randers metric and presents examples of Randers metrics with non-scalar curvature. A global rigidity theorem for compact Finsler manifolds satisfying such conditions is proved. It is showed that for such a Finsler manifold,if Ricci scalar is negative,then Finsler metric is of Randers type.     

Twistor Spinors and Quasi-twistor Spinors

The author studies the properties and applications of quasi-Killing spinors and quasi-twistor spinors and obtains some vanishing theorems. In particular, the author classifies all the types of quasi-twistor spinors on closed Riemannian spin manifolds. As a consequence, it is known that on a locally decomposable closed spin manifold with nonzero Ricci curvature, the space of twistor spinors is trivial. Some integrability condition for twistor spinors is also obtained.     

Almost nonnegative curvature operator and cohomology rings

We give a survey of results on the construction of and obstructions to metrics of almost nonnegative curvature operator on closed manifolds and results on the cohomology rings of closed, simply-connected manifolds with a lower curvature and upper diameter bound. The latter is motivated by a question of Grove whether these condition imply finiteness of rational homotopy types. This question has answers by F. Fang–X. Rong, B. Totaro and recently A. Dessai and the present author.     

Lie Superalgebras Associated with Constant Sectional Curvature

This note describes an observation connecting Riemannian manifolds of constant sectional curvature with a particular class of Lie superalgebras. Specifically, it is shown that the structural equations of a space M with constant sectional curvature, of one variety or another, nearly coincide with some identities satisfied by tensors which can be used to construct some specific families of Lie superalgebras. In particular, one obtains either osp(n,2), spl(n,2), or osp(4,2n) if the Riemannian manifold has constant curvature, constant holomorphic curvature or constant quaternion-holomorphic curvature, respectively.Mathematics Subject Classiffications (2000). 17A70, 53C29, 53C99, 57Rxx     

General spherically symmetric Finsler metrics with constant Ricci and flag curvature

In this paper, we investigate the flag curvature of a special class of Finsler metrics called general spherically symmetric Finsler metrics, which are defined by a Euclidean metric and two related 1-forms. We find equations to characterize the class of metrics with constant Ricci curvature (tensor) and constant flag curvature. Moreover, we study general spherically symmetric Finsler metrics with the vanishing non-Riemannian quantity χ-curvature. In particular, we construct some new projectively flat Finsler metrics of constant flag curvature.

On Complete Hypersurfaces with Constant Mean Curvature and Finite L^P-norm Curvature in R^n＋1

By using curvature estimates, we prove that a complete non-compact hypersurface M with constant mean curvature and finite L^n-norm curvature in R^1＋1 must be minimal, so that M is a hyperplane if it is strongly stable. This is a generalization of the result on stable complete minimal hypersurfaces of R^n＋1. Moreover, complete strongly stable hypersurfaces with constant mean curvature and finite L^1-norm curvature in R^1＋1 are considered.

本文得到高维球面上三维紧致极小子流形的若干刚性定理．在一个整体拚挤条件下，数量曲率的拚挤常数被改进了，也对李奇曲率的拚挤问题进行了讨论．     

拟常曲率空间中的2-调和子流形为极小子流形的条件

研究了拟常曲率空间中的2-调和子流形与极小子流形.首先得到了拟常曲率空间中具有平行平均曲率的2-调和子流形为极小子流形的一个较好的充分条件,然后得到了2-调和超曲面与极小超曲面在一定条件下是等价的结论.     

曲率渐近非负流形

本文主要研究了在曲率渐近非负流形上的一些性质：其上不存在非常数的正调和函数；若其调和函数是对一固定指数d的多项式增长,那么由这些调和函数所组成的空间的维数≤Cd~(CD),而且此流形的体积为无穷大等．     

具有均匀结构的多元$t$\,-模型的局部影响分析

本文研究具有均匀结构的多元$t$\,-模型的局部影响分析问题\bd 依据Cook的曲率度量, 我们考虑了微小扰动对统计推断的影响, 由此导出了局部影响分析中最为关心的统计量---最大曲率方向\bd作为一种应用, 本文还祥细讨论了常见的协方差加权扰动形式.
