Generalized Extended Tanh-Function Method for Traveling Wave Solutions of Nonlinear Physical Equations

In this paper, the generalized extended tanh-function method is used for constructing the traveling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. We choose Fisher's equation, the nonlinear schrödinger equation to illustrate the validity and advantages of the method. Many new and more general traveling wave solutions are obtained. Furthermore, this method can also be applied to other nonlinear equations in physics.

A geometric characterization of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation and its applications

We prove that the nonlinear Schrodinger equation of attractive type (NLS+ describes just spher-ical surfaces (SS) and the nonlinear Schrodinger equation of repulsive type (NLS-) determines only pseudo-spherical surfaces (PSS). This implies that, though we show that given two differential PSS (resp. SS) equationsthere exists a local gauge transformation (despite of changing the independent variables or not) which trans-forms a solution of one into any solution of the other, it is impossible to have such a gauge transformationbetween the NLS+ and the NLS-.     

The Boundedness of the Commutator for Riesz Potential Associated with Schr dinger Operator on Morrey Spaces

一类非线性薛定谔方程的多解的存在性

Comment on “New types of exact solutions for nonlinear Schrodinger equation with cubic nonlinearity”

In this comment we analyze the paper [Abdelhalim Ebaid, S.M. Khaled, New types of exact solutions for nonlinear Schrodinger equation with cubic nonlinearity, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 235 (2011) 1984-1992]. Using the traveling wave, Ebaid and Khaled have found “new types of exact solutions for nonlinear Schrodinger equation with cubic nonlinearity”. We demonstrate that the authors studied the well-known nonlinear ordinary differential equation with the well-known general solution. We illustrate that Ebaid and Khaled have looked for some exact solution for the reduction of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation taking the general solution of the same equation into account.     

On a certain class of a nonlinear evolution partial differential equations

An existence result and a priori bound for the solution of a second-order nonlinear parabolic equation are established. Also a generalized tanh-function method is used for constructing exact travelling wave solutions for the nonlinear diffusion equation of Fisher type originated from the considered partial differential equation. And new multiple soliton solutions are obtained.     

新的变系数可积耦合非线性Schr(o)dinger方程及其孤子解

基于延拓结构和Hirota双线性方法研究了广义的变系数耦合非线性Schrdinger方程.首先导出了3组新的变系数可积耦合非线性Schrdinger方程及其线性谱问题(Lax对),然后利用Hirota双线性方法给出了它们的单、双向量孤子解.这些向量孤子解在光孤子通讯中有重要的应用.     

Extended tanh-function Metho d for Solving Traveling Wave Solutions of Nonlinear Kundu Equation

In this paper, by using the balancing method and the extended tanh-function method, we obtain the exact traveling wave solutions of Kundu equation with fifth-order nonlinear term. Applications of this method to some other nonlinear partial differential equations are also presented.     

Deep Reduction of Darboux Transformation to a $3\times3$ Spectral Problem

The Darboux transformation of a 3 × 3 spectral problem which is associated with the higherorder nonlinear SchrSdinger equation is given. Some solutions of the higher-order nonlinear Schroedinger equation are provided by taking different “seeds“.     

A concentration behavior for semilinear elliptic systems with indefinite weight

Consider the Schrdinger system{-Δu+V1,nu=αQn(x)︱u︱α-2u︱v︱β,-Δv+V2,nv=βQn(x)︱u︱α︱v︱β-2v,u,v∈H10(Ω) where ΩR~N,α,β 1,α + β 2* and the spectrum σ(-△ + V_(i,n))(0,+∞),i = 1,2;Q_n is a bounded function and is positive in a region contained in Ω and negative outside.Moreover,the sets{Q_n 0} shrink to a point x_0∈Ω as n→+∞.We obtain the concentration phenomenon.Precisely,we first show that the system has a nontrivial solution(u_n,v_n) corresponding to Q_n,then we prove that the sequences(u_n) and(v_n) concentrate at x_0 with respect to the H~1-norm.Moreover,if the sets {Q_n 0} shrink to finite points and(u_n,v_n) is a ground state solution,then we must have that both u_n and v_n concentrate at exactly one of these points.Surprisingly,the concentration of u_n and v_n occurs at the same point.Hence,we generalize the results due to Ackermann and Szulkin.     

New explicit traveling wave solutions for three nonlinear evolution equations

In this paper, using the extended tanh-function method, new explicit traveling wave solutions including rational solutions for three nonlinear evolution equations are obtained with the aid of Mathematica.

本文首先分析线性Schrodinger方程一种高阶差分格式的构造方法,得到方程的耗散项.在此基础上对三次非线性Schrodinger方程,提出了一种精度为O(r2 h2)的差分格式,证明了该格式保持了连续方程的两个守恒量,且是收敛的与稳定的.并通过数值例子与已有隐格式进行了比较,结果表明,本文格式在计算量类似的情况下,提高了数值精度.
