In this paper, several analytical and numerical approaches are presented for the stability analysis of linear fractional-order delay differential equations. The main focus of interest is asymptotic stability, but bounded-input bounded-output (BIBO) stability is also discussed. The applicability of the Laplace transform method for stability analysis is first investigated, jointly with the corresponding characteristic equation, which is broadly used in BIBO stability analysis. Moreover, it is shown that a different characteristic equation, involving the one-parameter Mittag-Leffler function, may be obtained using the well-known method of steps, which provides a necessary condition for asymptotic stability. Stability criteria based on the Argument Principle are also obtained. The stability regions obtained using the two methods are evaluated numerically and comparison results are presented. Abstract

A problem of feedback stabilization of hybrid systems with time-varying delay and Markovian switching is considered. Delay-dependent sufficient conditions for stability based on linear matrix inequalities (LMI's) for stochastic asymptotic stability is obtained. The stability result depended on the mode of the system and of delay-dependent. The robustness results of such stability concept against all admissible uncertainties are also investigated. This new delay-dependent stability criteria is less conservative than the existing delay-independent stability conditions. An example is given to demonstrate the obtained results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the study of the stability of Runge-Kutta-Pouzet methods for Volterra integro-differential equations with delays. We are interested in the comparison between the analytical and numerical stability regions. First, we focus on scalar equations with real coefficients. It is proved that all Gauss-Pouzet methods can retain the asymptotic stability of the analytical solution. Then, we consider the multidimensional case. A new stability condition for the stability of the analytical solution is given. Under this condition, the asymptotic stability of Gauss-Pouzet methods is investigated.   相似文献

Sufficient conditions for the stability with respect to part of the functional differential equation variables are given. These conditions utilize Lyapunov functions to determine the uniform stability and uniform asymptotic stability of functional differential equations. These conditions for the partial stability develop the Razumikhin theorems on uniform stability and uniform asymptotic stability of functional differential equations. In this paper, a problem of the asymptotic stability for a class of neutral systems with multiple discrete and distributed time-delays is considered. Lyapunov stability theory is applied to guarantee the stability for the systems. New discrete-delay-independent and discrete-delay-dependent stability conditions are derived in terms of the spectral radius and linear matrix inequality. By mathematical analysis, the stability criteria are proved to be less conservative than the ones reported in the current literatures. A numerical example is given to illustrate the availability of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper studies the uniform stability and ISS (input-to-state stability) properties for DIHS (discrete-time impulsive hybrid systems) via comparison approach. By employing the vector-value function, the comparison principle is established for DIHS with external inputs. Then the comparison principle is used to establish the uniform stability and ISS criteria for DIHS, respectively. Moreover, regions in which the uniform stability and ISS properties can be guaranteed are estimated. As applications, the comparison principle and the results of uniform stability and ISS are used to study the robustly globally uniformly exponential stability for uncertain DIHS and exponential ISS of DIHS. It is shown that impulses contribute to stability and ISS properties for a discrete-time system which has no such properties. Two examples with numerical simulations are worked out for illustration.  相似文献
