Badora, J. Baker, B. Bouikhalene, P. Gavruta, S. Kabbaj, Pl. Kannappan, G. H.Kim, J.M. Rassias, A. Roukbi, L. Sz′ekelyhidi, D. Zeglami, etc.

PREFERENCE AND EVOLUTION IN THE ITERATED PRISONER＇S DILEMMA

Game theory is extensively used to study strategy-making and actions of play- ers. The authors proposed an analysis method for study the evolutionary outcome and behaviors of players with preference in iterated prisoner＇s dilemma. In this article, a preference parameter k was introduced in the payoff matrix, wherein the value of k denotes the player＇s degree of egoism and altruism （preference）. Then, a game-theoretic dynamical model was formulated using Birth-and-Death process. The authors studied how preference influences the evolutionary equilibrium and behaviors of players. The authors get the general results： egoism leads to defection, and altruism can make players build trust and maintain cooperation, and so, the hope of the Pareto optimal solution. In the end, the simulation experiments proved the efficiency of the method.     

Distribution of a certain partition function modulo powers of primes

In this paper, we study a certain partition function a(n) defined by Σ _n≥0 a(n)q ⁿ := Π _n=1(1 − q ⁿ )⁻¹(1 − q ²ⁿ )⁻¹. We prove that given a positive integer j ≥ 1 and a prime m ≥ 5, there are infinitely many congruences of the type a(An + B) ≡ 0 (mod m ^j ). This work is inspired by Ono’s ground breaking result in the study of the distribution of the partition function p(n).

On Ha＇s Version of Set-valued Ekeland＇s Variational Principle

By using the concept of cone extensions and Dancs-Hegedus-Medvegyev theorem, Ha [Some variants of the Ekeland variational principle for a set-valued map. J. Optim. Theory Appl., 124, 187–206 (2005)] established a new version of Ekeland’s variational principle for set-valued maps, which is expressed by the existence of strict approximate minimizer for a set-valued optimization problem. In this paper, we give an improvement of Ha’s version of set-valued Ekeland’s variational principle. Our proof is direct and it need not use Dancs-Hegedus-Medvegyev theorem. From the improved Ha’s version, we deduce a Caristi-Kirk’s fixed point theorem and a Takahashi’s nonconvex minimization theorem for set-valued maps. Moreover, we prove that the above three theorems are equivalent to each other.

Necessary and Sufficient Conditions of Doubly Weighted Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev Inequality

Using product and convolution theorems on Lorentz spaces, we characterize the sufficient and necessary conditions which ensure the validity of the doubly weighted Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality. It should be pointed out that we consider whole ranges of p and q, i.e., 0 p ≤∞ and 0 q ≤∞.
