Solutions of the generalized Lennard-Jones system

In this paper, we study solution structures of the following generalized Lennard-Jones system in R~n,x=(-α/|x|~(α+2)+β/|x|~(β+2))x,with 0 α β. Considering periodic solutions with zero angular momentum, we prove that the corresponding problem degenerates to 1-dimensional and possesses infinitely many periodic solutions which must be oscillating line solutions or constant solutions. Considering solutions with non-zero angular momentum, we compute Morse indices of the circular solutions first, and then apply the mountain pass theorem to show the existence of non-circular solutions with non-zero topological degrees. We further prove that besides circular solutions the system possesses in fact countably many periodic solutions with arbitrarily large topological degree, infinitely many quasi-periodic solutions, and infinitely many asymptotic solutions.     

关于运输问题最优解的进一步讨论

首先给出了运输问题最优解的相关概念,将最优解扩展到广义范畴,提出狭义多重最优解和广义多重最优解的概念及其区别.然后给出了惟一最优解、多重最优解、广义有限多重最优解、广义无限多重最优解的判定定理及其证明过程.最后推导出了狭义有限多重最优解个数下限和广义有限多重最优解个数上限的计算公式,并举例验证了结论的正确性.     

Symbolic computation of exact solutions for a nonlinear evolution equation

In this paper, by means of the Jacobi elliptic function method, exact double periodic wave solutions and solitary wave solutions of a nonlinear evolution equation are presented. It can be shown that not only the obtained solitary wave solutions have the property of loop-shaped, cusp-shaped and hump-shaped for different values of parameters, but also different types of double periodic wave solutions are possible, namely periodic loop-shaped wave solutions, periodic hump-shaped wave solutions or periodic cusp-shaped wave solutions. Furthermore, periodic loop-shaped wave solutions will be degenerated to loop-shaped solitary wave solutions for the same values of parameters. So do cusp-shaped solutions and hump-shaped solutions. All these solutions are new and first reported here.     

Poisson Total Boundedness of Solutions of Systems of Differential Equations and Lyapunov Vector Functions

We introduce the notions of Poisson total boundedness of solutions, partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions, and partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions. We use the Lyapunov vector function method to obtain sufficient conditions for the Poisson total boundedness of solutions, the partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions, and the partial Poisson total boundedness of solutions with partly controlled initial conditions. As a consequence, we obtain sufficient conditions for the above-mentioned kinds of Poisson total boundedness of solutions based on the Lyapunov function method.

     

New double Wronskian solutions of the AKNS equation

Soliton solutions, rational solutions, Matveev solutions, complexitons and interaction solutions of the AKNS equation are derived through a matrix method for constructing double Wronskian entries. The latter three solutions are novel. Moreover, rational solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation are obtained by reduction.     

纤维混凝土中应力传递机制的三维弹性理论分析

对纤维混凝土中应力传递机制问题作了分析研究,将应力和位移看作一组“初等解”和一组“修正解”的叠加,“初等解”即为一般的二维理论所得的解答,而“修正解”应用拉甫（Love)位移函数法求得,计算实例表明,解的收敛性良好,将三维弹性理论解与剪滞法的解比较后,可见两种解存在较明显的差别。     

A Multidimensional Nonautonomous Equation Containing a Product of Powers of Partial Derivatives

A class of multidimensional differential equations containing products of powers of partial derivatives of any order is considered. Solutions with additive, multiplicative, and combined separation of variables are obtained. A family of pseudopolynomial solutions expressed in terms of polynomials in independent variables with arbitrary coefficients and functions being solutions of certain ordinary differential equations is also obtained. Solutions of the type of traveling wave and self-similar solutions, as well as families of solutions having the form of a sum or a product of solutions of the type of a traveling wave and self-similar solutions, are found. Finally, solutions that can be represented as functions of more complicated arguments expressed in terms of linear combinations and products of the initial independent variables are found. For all of the obtained solutions, conditions on the righthand side of the equation and its parameters under which these solutions exist are determined.     

Exact solutions of nonlinear generalizations of the wave equation

Exact solutions of nonlinear generalizations of the wave equation are constructed. In some cases these solutions are solitary waves or solitions. Thus, by explicit construction solitons or solitary waves are shown to exist in dispersionless systems. In contrast to previous solitary wave solutions, these solutions are limiting cases of solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations with dispersion.     

Travelling wave solutions of a generalized Camassa-Holm-Degasperis-Procesi equation

The travelling wave solutions of a generalized Camassa-Holm-Degasperis-Procesi equation ut-uxxt + (1 + b)umux = buxuxx + uuxxx are considered where b > 1 and m are positive integers. The qualitative analysis methods of planar autonomous systems yield its phase portraits. Its soliton wave solutions, kink or antikink wave solutions, peakon wave solutions, compacton wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and periodic cusp wave solutions are obtained. Some numerical simulations of these solutions are also give...     

Irregular Partially Invariant Solutions of Rank 2 and Defect 1 to Equations of Gas Dynamics

We consider three-dimensional subalgebras admitted by the equations of gas dynamics having time as an invariant and containing no rotation operator. For such subalgebras we seek for irregular partially invariant solutions of rank 2 and defect 1. The representation for solutions has the form which generalizes motion of a gas with a linear velocity field. We show that partially invariant solutions exist for each subalgebra. We describe the set of these solutions. We find solutions with the indicated representation that are not partially invariant. The solutions reducible to invariant solutions are generalized to new submodels.     

Convex solutions of polynomial-like iterative equations

In this paper convex solutions and concave solutions of polynomial-like iterative equations are investigated. A result for non-monotonic solutions is given first and applied then to prove the existence of convex continuous solutions and concave ones. Furthermore, another condition for convex solutions, which is weaker in some aspects, is also given. The uniqueness and stability of those solutions are also discussed.     

Existence of kink and unbounded traveling wave solutions of the Casimir equation for the Ito system

This paper study the traveling wave solutions of the Casimir equation for the Ito system. Since the derivative function of the wave function is a solution of a planar dynamical system, from which the exact parametric representations of solutions and bifurcations of phase portraits can be obtained. Thus, we show that corresponding to the compacton solutions of the derivative function system, there exist uncountably infinite kink wave solutions of the wave equation. Corresponding to the positive or negative periodic solutions and homoclinic solutions of the derivative function system, there exist unbounded wave solutions of the wave function equation.

本文利用发散积分的有限部分,从三维的Kelvin问题的解,Boussinesq问题的解和Mindlin问题的解直接导出了相应的二维问题的解,另外也给出了在平面问题中的应用.     

Some exact solutions of KdV equation with variable coefficients

In this paper, the extended mapping transformation method is used to obtain some new exact solutions of a variable-coefficient KdV equation arising in arterial mechanics. The obtained solutions include soliton solutions, periodic solutions and rational solutions.     

KK方程和改进的Boussinesq方程的新精确解

应用改进的Fan's代数方法,得到了KK方程和改进的Boussinesq方程的一系列新精确解,包括孤立波解、类孤立波解、纽结波解、奇异纽结波解和三角函数周期解.     

On front solutions of the saturation equation of two-phase flow in porous media

We investigate the existence of “front” solutions of the saturation equation of two-phase flow in porous media. By front solution we mean a monotonic solution connecting two different saturations. The Brooks–Corey and the van Genuchten models are used to describe the relative-permeability – and capillary pressure–saturation relationships. We show that two classes of front solutions exist: self-similar front solutions and travelling-wave front solutions. Self-similar front solutions exist only for horizontal displacements of fluids (without gravity). However, travelling-wave front solutions exist for both horizontal and vertical (including gravity) displacements. The stability of front solutions is confirmed numerically.

利用Gertewitz泛函研究向量优化问题的一类非线性标量化问题. 证明了向量优化问题的(C, \varepsilon)-弱有效解或(C, \varepsilon)-有效解与标量化问题的近似解或严格近似解间的等价关系, 并估计了标量化问题的近似解．     

Asymptotic forms of positive solutions of quasilinear ordinary differential equations with singular nonlinearities

In this paper we consider positive solutions of second order quasilinear ordinary differential equations with singular nonlinearities. We obtain asymptotic equivalence theorems for asymptotically superlinear solutions and decaying solutions. By using these theorems, exact asymptotic forms of such solutions are determined. Furthermore, we can establish the uniqueness of decaying solutions as an application of our results.     

F展开法结合指数函数法求解Zhiber-Shabat 方程的精确解

利用F展开法与指数函数法相结合的方法,在相关文献的基础上,重新研究了Zhiber-Shabat方程,获得了许多与现有文献中解的表达式不相同的各种精确解.这些解同样具有孤立波解,纽子波解和周期波解的各种动力学特征.从而丰富了相关文献中关于Zhiber-Shabat波方程的孤立子解和周期解的种类.     

A second Wronskian formulation of the Boussinesq equation

A Wronskian formulation leading to rational solutions is presented for the Boussinesq equation. It involves third-order linear partial differential equations, whose representative systems are systematically solved. The resulting solutions formulas provide a direct but powerful approach for constructing rational solutions, positon solutions and complexiton solutions to the Boussinesq equation. Various examples of exact solutions of those three kinds are computed. The newly presented Wronskian formulation is different from the one previously presented by Li et al., which does not yield rational solutions.
