The notions of metric sparsification property and finite decomposition com- plexity are recently introduced in metric geometry to study the coarse Novikov conjecture and the stable Borel conjecture. In this paper, it is proved that a metric space X has finite decomposition complexity with respect to metric sparsification property if and only if X itself has metric sparsification property. As a consequence, the authors obtain an alterna- tive proof of a very recent result by Guentner, Tessera and Yu that all countable linear groups have the metric sparsification property and hence the operator norm localization property.  相似文献

For a proper subdomain D of Rn and for all x, y ∈ D define ■,where the infimum is taken over all curves C_(xy)= γ[0, 1] in D with γ(0) = x and γ(1) = y, and Cap denotes the conformal capacity of condensers. The quantity μD is a metric if and only if the domain D has a boundary of positive conformal capacity. If Cap(?D) 0, we call μD the modulus metric of D. Ferrand et al.(1991) have conjectured that isometries for the modulus metric are conformal mappings. Very recently, this conjecture has been proved for n = 2 by Betsakos and Pouliasis(2019). In this paper, we prove that the conjecture is also true in higher dimensions n≥3.  相似文献

The torsion conjecture says: for any abelian variety A defined over a number field k, the order of the torsion subgroup of A(k) is bounded by a constant C(k,d) which depends only on the number field k and the dimension d of the abelian variety. The torsion conjecture remains open in general. However, in this paper, a short argument shows that the conjecture is true for more general fields if we consider linear groups instead of abelian varieties. If G is a connected linear algebraic group defined over a field k which is finitely generated over Q,Г is a torsion subgroup of G(k). Then the order of Г is bounded by a constant C'(k, d) which depends only on k and the dimension d of G.  相似文献

The well-known Yau's uniformization conjecture states that any complete noncompact K¨ahler manifold with positive bisectional curvature is bi-holomorphic to the Euclidean space. The conjecture for the case of maximal volume growth has been recently confirmed by G. Liu in [23]. In the first part, we will give a survey on the progress.In the second part, we will consider Yau's conjecture for manifolds with non-maximal volume growth. We will show that the finiteness of the first Chern number C_1~n is an essential condition to solve Yau's conjecture by using algebraic embedding method. Moreover, we prove that,under bounded curvature conditions, C_1~n is automatically finite provided that there exists a positive line bundle with finite Chern number. In particular, we obtain a partial answer to Yau's uniformization conjecture on K¨ahler manifolds with minimal volume growth.  相似文献

In this paper, we study radial operators in Toeplitz algebra on the weighted Bergman spaces over the polydisk by the(m, λ)-Berezin transform and find that a radial operator can be approximated in norm by Toeplitz operators without any conditions. We prove that the compactness of a radial operator is equivalent to the property of vanishing of its(0, λ)-Berezin transform on the boundary. In addition, we show that an operator S is radial if and only if its(m, λ)-Berezin transform is a separately radial function.  相似文献

In 1992, Branner and Hubbard raised a conjecture that the Julia set of a polynomial is a Cantor set if and only if each critical component of its filled-in Julia set is not periodic. Let (K, M,H) be an upper triangular bimodule problem. Briistle and Hille showed that the opposite algebra A of the endomorphism algebra of a projective generator P of the matrices category of (K., M, H) is quasi-hereditary, and there is an equivalence between the category of△-good modules of A and Mat(K, M). In this note, based on the tame theorem for bimodule problems, we show that if the algebra A associated with an upper triangular bimodule problem is of△-tame representation type, then the category F(△) has the homogeneous property, i.e. almost all modules in F(△) are isomorphic to their Auslander-Reiten translations. Moreover, if (K, M,H)is an upper triangular bipartite bimodule problem, then A is of△-tame representation type if and only if F(△) is homogeneous.  相似文献

The paper has two parts. We first briefly survey recent studies on the equivalence problem for real submanifolds in a complex space under the action of biholomorphic transformations. We will mainly focus on some of the recent studies of Bishop surfaces, which, in particular, includes the work of the authors. In the second part of the paper, we apply the general theory developed by the authors to explicitly classify an algebraic family of Bishop surfaces with a vanishing Bishop invariant. More precisely, we let M be a real submanifold of C 2 defined by an equation of the form w = zz + 2Re(z s + az s+1 ) with s≥ 3 and a a complex parameter. We will prove in the second part of the paper that for s≥ 4 two such surfaces are holomorphically equivalent if and only if the parameter differs by a certain rotation. When s = 3, we show that surfaces of this type with two different real parameters are not holomorphically equivalent.  相似文献

In this paper we consider one dimensional mean-field backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) under weak assumptions on the coefficient.Unlike[3],the generator of our mean-field BSDEs depends not only on the solution (Y,Z) but also on the law P_(Y )of Y.The first part of the paper is devoted to the existence and uniqueness of solutions in L~p,1p≤2,where the monotonicity conditions are satisfied.Next,we show that if the generator f is uniformly continuous in (μ,y,z),uniformly with respect to (t,ω),and if the terminal valueξbelongs to L~p(?,F,P) with 1p≤2,the mean-field BSDE has a unique L~psolution.  相似文献

Let φ be an analytic self-map of the complex unit disk and X a Banach space. This paper studies the action of composition operator Cφ: f→foφ on the vector-valued Nevanlinna classes N(X) and Na(X). Certain criteria for such operators to be weakly compact are given. As a consequence, this paper shows that the composition operator Cφ is weakly compact on N(X) and Na(X) if and only if it is weakly compact on the vector-valued Hardy space H^1 (X) and Bergman space B1(X) respectively.  相似文献

A graphoidal cover of a graph G is a collection ψ of (not necessarily open) paths inG such that every path in ψ has at least two vertices, every vertex ofG is an internal vertex of at most one path in ψ and every edge of G is in exactly one path in ψ. Let Ω (ψ) denote the intersection graph of ψ. A graph G is said to be graphoidal if there exists a graphH and a graphoidal cover ψof H such that G is isomorphic to Ω(ψ). Let △(φ,ψ) =(A BMA ANBB) be a Morita ring which is an Artin algebra.In this paper we investigate the relations between the Gorenstein-projective modules over a Morita ring △(φ,ψ) and the algebras A and B.We prove that if △(φ,ψ) is a Gorenstein algebra and both MA and AN (resp.,both NB and BM) have finite projective dimension,then A (resp.,B) is a Gorenstein algebra.We also discuss when the CM-freeness and the CM-finiteness of a Morita ring △(φ,ψ) is inherited by the algebras A and B.  相似文献

We consider gauge-dependent dynamical equations describing homogeneous isotropic cosmologies coupled to a scalar field ψ (scalaron). For flat cosmologies (k = 0), we analyze the gauge-independent equation describing the differential χ(α) ≡ ψ (a) of the map of the metric a to the scalaron field ψ, which is the main mathematical characteristic of a cosmology and locally defines its portrait in the so-called a version. In the more customary ψ version, the similar equation for the differential of the inverse map \(\bar \chi (\psi ) \equiv \chi ^{ - 1} (\alpha )\) is solved in an asymptotic approximation for arbitrary potentials v(ψ). In the flat case, \(\bar \chi (\psi )\) and χ?1(α) satisfy first-order differential equations depending only on the logarithmic derivative of the potential, v(ψ)/v(ψ). If an analytic solution for one of the χ functions is known, then we can find all characteristics of the cosmological model. In the α version, the full dynamical system is explicitly integrable for k ≠ 0 with any potential v(α) ≡ v[ψ(α)] replacing v(ψ). Until one of the maps, which themselves depend on the potentials, is calculated, no sort of analytic relation between these potentials can be found. Nevertheless, such relations can be found in asymptotic regions or by perturbation theory. If instead of a potential we specify a cosmological portrait, then we can reconstruct the corresponding potential. The main subject here is the mathematical structure of isotropic cosmologies. We also briefly present basic applications to a more rigorous treatment of inflation models in the framework of the α version of the isotropic scalaron cosmology. In particular, we construct an inflationary perturbation expansion for χ. If the conditions for inflation to arise are satisfied, i.e., if v > 0, k = 0, χ2 < 6, and χ(α) satisfies a certain boundary condition as α→-∞, then the expansion is invariant under scaling the potential, and its first terms give the standard inflationary parameters with higher-order corrections.  相似文献

In this article, the authors consider the collapse solutions of Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schrdinger equation iψt + 1/2 △ψ - 1/2 ω2|x|2ψ + |ψ|2ψ = 0, x ∈ R2, which models the Bose-Einstein condensate with attractive interactions. The authors establish the lower bound of collapse rate as t → T . Furthermore, the L2-concentration property of the radially symmetric collapse solutions is obtained.  相似文献

Previously, the author made the following conjecture: if a finite group has two semiproportional irreducible characters φ and ψ, then φ(1) = ψ(1). 本文研究了系列平行图的邻强边染色.从图的结构性质出发,利用双重归纳和换色的方法证明了对于△(G)=3,4的系列平行图满足邻强边染色猜想;对于△(G)≥5的系列平行图G, 有△(G)≤x'as(G)≤△(G) 1,且x'as(G)=△(G) 1当且仅当存在两个最大度点相邻,其中△(G)和x'as(G)分别表示图G的最大度和邻强边色数.  相似文献
