Frequency estimates are derived for the Lyapunov dimension of attractors of non-linear dynamical systems. A theorem on the localization of global attractors is proved for the Lorenz system. This theorem is applied to obtain upper bounds for the Lyapunov dimension of attractors and to prove the existence of homoclinic orbits in the Lorenz system.  相似文献

In this paper we establish some theorems which are concerned with the equivalent norms of Sobolev spaces on a Riemannian manifold. Using the theorems we prove the existence of global attractors for the initial value problem of Cahn-Hilliard equations. This article studies the global well-posedness and long-time dynamics for the nonlinear complex Ginzburg–Landau equation involving fractional Laplacian. The global existence and some uniqueness criterion of weak solutions are given with compactness method. To study the strong solutions with the semigroup method, we generalize some pointwise estimates for the fractional Laplacian to the complex background and study carefully the linear evolution of the equation. We investigate additional regularity properties of all globally defined weak solutions, their global and trajectory attractors for a class of autonomous differential inclusion with upper semi-continuous interaction function, when initial data $u_{\tau}\in L^2(\Omega)$ . The main contributions of this paper are: (i) additional regularity and new topological properties of all weak solutions of parabolic feedback control problem with upper semi-continuous interaction function, (ii) a sufficient condition for regularity of global and trajectory attractors, and (iii) new a priory estimates for all weak solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, the pseudospectral method to solve the dissipative Zakharov equations is used. Its convergence is proved by priori estimates. The existence of the global attractors and the estimates of dimension are presented. A class of steady state solutions is also disscussed. The numerical results show that if the steady state solutions satisfy some special conditions, they become unstable and limit cycles and strange attractors will occur for very small perturbations . The largest Lyapunov exponent and analysis of the linearized system are applied to explain these phenomena.  相似文献

In this work, we define the notions of ‘impulsive non‐autonomous dynamical systems’ and ‘impulsive cocycle attractors’. Such notions generalize (we will see that not in the most direct way) the notions of autonomous dynamical systems and impulsive global attractors in the current published literature. We also establish conditions to ensure the existence of an impulsive cocycle attractor for a given impulsive non‐autonomous dynamical system, which are analogous to the continuous case. In this paper, we establish the global existence, asymptotic behavior, and uniform attractor for a nonautonomous viscoelastic equation with a delay term. Under some suitable assumptions, we firstly prove the global well‐posedness of the problem by using the Faedo–Galerkin approximations together with some energy estimates and then obtain the general decay results of the energy via suitable Lyapunov functionals. In this paper, the long time behaviors of g-Navier–Stokes equations with linear dampness on R2 were investigated. By using the energy equation method, the existence of the global attractor for the equations was proved without the restriction of the forcing term belonging to some weighted Sobolev space. In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for systems of quasi-linear wave equations with multiple propagation speeds in spatial dimensions n ≥ 4. The problem when the nonlinearities depend on both the unknown function and their derivatives is studied. Based on some Klainerman-Sideris type weighted estimates and space-time L 2 estimates, the results that the almost global existence for space dimensions n = 4 and global existence for n ≥ 5 of small amplitude solutions are presented.  相似文献
