The aim of this paper is to study the dynamics of a delayed business cycle model with general investment function. The model describes the interaction of the gross product and capital stock. Furthermore, the delay represents the time between the decision of investment and implementation. Firstly, we show that the model is well posed by proving the global existence and boundedness of solutions. Secondly, we determine the economic equilibrium of the model. By analyzing the characteristic equation, we investigate the stability of the economic equilibrium and the local existence of Hopf bifurcation. Also, the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are derived by applying the normal form method and center manifold theory. Moreover, the global existence of bifurcating periodic solutions is established by using the global Hopf bifurcation theory. Finally, our theoretical results are illustrated with some numerical simulations.  相似文献

The global dynamics of an SIRS model with a nonlinear incidence rate is investigated. We establish a threshold for a disease to be extinct or endemic, analyze the existence and asymptotic stability of equilibria, and verify the existence of bistable states, i.e., a stable disease free equilibrium and a stable endemic equilibrium or a stable limit cycle. In particular, we find that the model admits stability switches as a parameter changes. We also investigate the backward bifurcation, the Hopf bifurcation and Bogdanov–Takens bifurcation and obtain the Hopf bifurcation criteria and Bogdanov–Takens bifurcation curves, which are important for making strategies for controlling a disease.  相似文献

On the basis of the work of Goodwin and Puu, a new business cycle model subject to a stochastically parametric excitation is derived in this paper. At first, we reduce the model to a one-dimensional diffusion process by applying the stochastic averaging method of quasi-nonintegrable Hamiltonian system. Secondly, we utilize the methods of Lyapunov exponent and boundary classification associated with diffusion process respectively to analyze the stochastic stability of the trivial solution of system. The numerical results obtained illustrate that the trivial solution of system must be globally stable if it is locally stable in the state space. Thirdly, we explore the stochastic Hopf bifurcation of the business cycle model according to the qualitative changes in stationary probability density of system response. It is concluded that the stochastic Hopf bifurcation occurs at two critical parametric values. Finally, some explanations are given in a simply way on the potential applications of stochastic stability and bifurcation analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the effect of the shape of herd behavior on the interaction between predator and prey. The model analysis was studied in three parts. The first, The analysis of the system in the absence of spatial diffusion and the time delay, where the local stability of the equilibrium states, the existence of Hopf bifurcation have been investigated. For the second part, the spatiotemporal dynamics introduce by self diffusion was determined, where the existence of Hopf bifurcation, Turing driven instability, Turing-Hopf bifurcation point have been proved. Further, the order of Hopf bifurcation points and regions of the stability of the non trivial equilibrium state was given. In the last part of the paper, we studied the delay effect on the stability of the non trivial equilibrium, where we proved that the delay can lead to the instability of interior equilibrium state, and also the existence of Hopf bifurcation. A numerical simulation was carried out to insure the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, a modified delay predator-prey model with stage structure is established, which involves the economic factor and internal competition of all the prey and predator populations. By the methods of normal form and characteristic equation, we obtain the stability of the positive equilibrium point and the sufficient condition of the existence of Hopf bifurcation. We analyze the influence of the time delay on the equation and show the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation periodic solution. The simulation gives a visual understanding for the existence and direction of Hopf bifurcation of the model.  相似文献

In this paper, we revisit a discrete predator-prey model with Allee effect and Holling type-I functional response. The most important is for us to find the bifurcation difference: a flip bifurcation occurring at the fixed point $E_3$ in the known results cannot happen in our results. The reason leading to this kind of difference is the different discrete method. In order to demonstrate this, we first simplify corresponding continuous predator-prey model. Then, we apply a different discretization method to this new continuous model to derive a new discrete model. Next, we consider the dynamics of this new discrete model in details. By using a key lemma, the existence and local stability of nonnegative fixed points $E_0$, $E_1$, $E_2$ and $E_3$ are completely studied. By employing the Center Manifold Theorem and bifurcation theory, the conditions for the occurrences of Neimark-Sacker bifurcation and transcritical bifurcation are obtained. Our results complete the corresponding ones in a known literature. Numerical simulations are also given to verify the existence of Neimark-Sacker bifurcation.  相似文献

In this paper, we use a semidiscretization method to derive a discrete two-species competitive model with Michaelis-Menten type harvesting in the first species. First, the existence and local stability of fixed points of the system are investigated by employing a key lemma. Subsequently, the transcritical bifurcation, period-doubling bifurcation and pitchfork bifurcation of the model are investigated by using the Center Manifold Theorem and bifurcation theory. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to illustrate corresponding theoretical results.

Inspired by a simulation specific to a delayed HIV model with stage-structure, some dynamic behaviors are studied in this paper, including global stability of disease-free equilibrium and local Hopf bifurcation when taking the delay as a parameter. The corresponding characteristic equation is a transcendental equation, with the parameters delay-dependent, thus we use the conventional analysis introduced by Beretta and Kuang to obtain sufficient conditions to the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Then some properties of Hopf bifurcation such as direction, stability and period are determined, and several examples illustrate our results.  相似文献

In this paper, we studied a delayed host-generalist parasitoid model with Holling II functional response and diffusion term. The Turing instability and local stability are studied. The existence of Hopf bifurcation is investigated, and some explicit formulas for determining the bifurcation direction and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solution are derived by the theory of center manifold and normal form method. Some numerical simulations are carried out.  相似文献

We investigate the qualitative behavior of a host‐parasitoid model with a strong Allee effect on the host. More precisely, we discuss the boundedness, existence and uniqueness of positive equilibrium, local asymptotic stability of positive equilibrium and existence of Neimark–Sacker bifurcation for the given system by using bifurcation theory. In order to control Neimark–Sacker bifurcation, we apply pole‐placement technique that is a modification of OGY method. Moreover, the hybrid control methodology is implemented in order to control Neimark–Sacker bifurcation. Numerical simulations are provided to illustrate theoretical discussion. We are concerned with a prey-predator reaction-diffusion model with monotonic functional response and specific refuge size. We discuss both existence and nonexistence of positive solutions of the model by using fixed point index theory and bifurcation theory as the main argument tools. We also discuss bifurcation solutions of which stability is established by using spectrum analysis methods. Moreover, we analyze the effects of refuge size on the dynamics of the model.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze a augmented IS-LM business cycle model with the capital accumulation equation that two time delays are considered in investment processes according to Kalecki’s idea. Applying stability switch criteria and Hopf bifurcation theory, we prove that time delays cause the equilibrium to lose or gain stability and Hopf bifurcation occurs.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the predator–prey model equipped with Fickian diffusion and memory-based diffusion of predators. The stability and bifurcation analysis explores the impacts of the memory-based diffusion and the averaged memory period on the dynamics near the positive steady state. Specifically, when the memory-based diffusion coefficient is less than a critical value, we show that the stability of the positive steady state can be destabilized as the average memory period increases, which leads to the occurrence of Hopf bifurcations. Moreover, we also analyze the bifurcation properties using the central manifold theorem and normal form theory. This allows us to prove the existence of stable spatially inhomogeneous periodic solutions arising from Hopf bifurcation. In addition, the sufficient and necessary conditions for the occurrence of stability switches are also provided.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence and stability of steady states for a prey-predator system with cross diffusion of quasilineax fractional type. We obtain a sufficient condition for the existence of positive steady state solutions by applying bifurcation theory and a detailed priori estimate. In virtue of the principle of exchange of stability, we prove the stability of local bifurcating solutions near the bifurcation point.  相似文献

In order to understand the effect of the diffusion reaction on the interaction between tumor cells and immune cells, we establish a tumor-immune reaction diffusion model with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. Firstly, we investigate the existence condition and the stability condition of the coexistence equilibrium solution. Secondly, we obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for the occurrence of Turing bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation. Thirdly, we perform some numerical simulations to illustrate the complex spatiotemporal patterns near the bifurcation curves. Finally, we explain spatiotemporal patterns in the diffusion action of tumor cells and immune cells.  相似文献

In this paper, the dynamics of a diffusive delayed predator-prey model with herd behavior and prey harvesting subject to the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition is considered. Firstly, choosing the harvesting term as a bifurcation parameter, then we obtain the existence and the stability of the equilibrium by analyzing the distribution of the roots of associated characteristic equation. Secondly, time delay is regarding as a bifurcation parameter, and the use of the normal form theory and center manifold theorem, the existence, stability and direction of bifurcating periodic solutions are all demonstrated detailly. Finally, summarizing some numerical simulations to illustrate the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, a tumor immune model with time delay is studied. First, the stability of nonnegative equilibria is analyzed. Then the time delay τ is selected as a bifurcation parameter and the existence of Hopf bifurcation is proved. Finally, by using the canonical method and the central manifold theory, the criteria for judging the direction and stability of Hopf bifurcation are given.  相似文献
