通过以λ为变量的多项式f(λ)定义了矩阵多项式f(A),并将矩阵多项式的计算方法推广到矩阵函数.同时给出了矩阵函数f(A)的又一种计算方法.

考虑协方差阵任意，或具有均匀协方差结构，或具有序列协方差结构的正态增长曲线模型本文将文[19]在设计矩阵满秩，且仅估计回归系数矩阵的情形获得的结果推广到设计矩阵不必列满秩，且同时估计回归系数矩阵的线性可估函数和协方差阵（或有关参数）的情形；在凸损失函数类和矩阵损失函数下，给出存在一致最小风险无偏估计的充分必要条件．

本利用四元数矩阵的广义Frobenius范数建立一个关于四元数矩阵的实函数，并讨论了它的极值问题．然后在四元数矩阵方程AX-YB=C的解集合中导出了与给定矩阵的最佳逼近解的表达式．

我们给出了关于六元gcd封闭集S的充分必要条件,使得在整数矩阵环M_6(Z)中,定义在S上的e次幂GCD矩阵(S~e)整除e次幂LCM矩阵[S~e].这部分解决了Hong在2002年提出的一个公开问题.     

Bent函数的一般构造法

本文用概率方法给出小项表示的布尔函数谱的性质,据此得到了Ｂｅｎｔ函数的特征矩阵的等价刻画,原则上给出了Ｂｅｎｔ函数的一般构造法,并为Ｂｅｎｔ函数的计数问题提供了一个模型。文中还提出了Ｂｅｎｔ矩阵的概念,考察了Ｂｅｎｔ矩阵的性质,并借助Ｂｅｎｔ矩阵得到由已知Ｂｅｎｔ函数构造新的Ｂｅｎｔ函数构造新的Ｂｅｎｔ函数的方法。

An (n m) hypergraph is a coupleH=(N E), where the vertex set N is {1,…n} and the edge set E is an m-element multiset of nonempty subsets of N. In this paper, we count nonisomorphic hypergraphs where isomorphism of hypergraphs is the natural extension of that of graphs. A main result is an explicit formula for the cycle index of the permutation representation of any permutation group P with object set N acting on the k-element subsets of N. By making a simple substitution in these cycle indices for P the symmetric group S_N and k=1,…,n, we obtain generating functions which enumerate various types of hypergraphs. Using the technique developed, we extend Snapper's results on characteristic polynomials of permutation representations and group characters from the case where the group has odd order to the general case.

The scattering matrix with respect to an Hermitian matrix of a graph

Recently, Gnutzmann and Smilansky [5] presented a formula for the bond scattering matrix of a graph with respect to an Hermitian matrix. We present another proof for this formula by a technique use in the zeta function of a graph. Furthermore, we generalize Gnutzmann and Smilansky's formula to a regular covering of a graph. Finally, we define an L-function of a graph, and present a determinant expression. As a corollary, we express the generalization of Gnutzmann and Smilansky's formula to a regular covering of a graph by using its L-functions.

We consider Bühlmann's classical model in credibility theory and we assume that the set of possible values of the observable random variables X₁, X₂,… is finite, say with n elements. Then the distribution of a couple (X_r, X_s) (r ≠ s) amounts to a square real matrix of order n, that we call a credibility matrix. In order to estimate credibility matrices or to adjust roughly estimated credibility matrices, we study the set of all credibility matrices and some particular subsets of it.
