浅谈线性代数微课设计——以向量组的最大无关组与秩为例

微课的本质是通过对一个知识点的教学过程进行充分的设计,以"短而全、简而精"的形式呈现给学习者.基于线性代数抽象、难懂的特点,以《向量组的最大线性无关组与秩》的微课设计为例,通过理论与具体设计思路的阐述,分析探讨"如何对线性代数进行微课设计",以浅显易懂的形式呈现给学习者,进而实现高效教学.

向量组线性相关性是线性代数教学中的一项重要内容．由于概念比较抽象、定理难以理解,因此一直是线性代数教学环节中的一项难点．通过对向量组线性相关性的定义以及判断方法进行了形象的描述,建立向量组线性相关性与矩阵、线性方程组之间的关系,有利于学生理解向量组线性相关性的真正内涵与简便求解方法．

自从Hutchison最早在生物学中提出含有时滞的数学模型[1]以来,在这方面的Hopf分支问题的研究逐渐展开。[2]、[3]和[4]分別讨论了含时滞方程(或方程组)的Hopf分支问题,得到了一些重要结果。但是,以上对方程组的讨论,仅只限于单个方程含有时滞的情形,这无疑是有局限性的。同时,在实际问题中,特别是近几年来提出了不少含时滞方程组的数学模型。因此,本文讨论较为一般的含时滞微分方程组的Hopf分支问题将有其实际意义。

观解一类不等式组问题

在求解一元一次不等式组时,常用数形结合的思想,有"作图→看图→表达"几个环节,过程烦琐,不易操作,学生掌握得并不理想.鉴于向右观察和表达数轴的习惯,结合不等式组公共解集所具有的特征,创新性地提出另一有效方法——观解法,极大简化了求解过程,提高了解题速度与准确度.     

二元一次方程组、三元一次方程组的顺逆行列式解法——顺逆行列式研究

珠心算的优势在于加减乘除的快速计算。在解线性方程中行列式法又是珠心算大有用武的理想天地。然而传统的行列式解法，其一脱离算式；其二行列式是从左起算，算式的顺序颠倒的太多；其三常用的行列式性质对三元以上的讨论较多，具体对二元一次方程组、三元一次方程组分析的还不太够；其四对方程组的整体化简没有考虑。所以在二阶与三阶的解法中并不是特别方便。     

Some results on extremal vectors and invariant subspaces

In 1996 P. Enflo introduced the concept of extremal vectors and their connection to the Invariant Subspace Problem. The study of backward minimal vectors gives a new method of finding invariant subspaces which is more constructive than the previously known methods. In this article we study the properties and behaviour of extremal vectors, give some new formulas related to backward minimal vectors and improve results from papers by Ansari and Enflo (1998) and Enflo (1998).

Divergences without probability vectors and their applications

In general, divergences and measures of information are defined for probability vectors. However, in some cases, divergences are ‘informally’ used to measure the discrepancy between vectors, which are not necessarily probability vectors. In this paper we examine whether divergences with nonprobability vectors in their arguments share the properties of probabilistic or information theoretic divergences. The results indicate that divergences with nonprobability vectors share, under some conditions, some of the properties of probabilistic or information theoretic divergences and therefore can be considered and used as information measures. We then use these divergences in the problem of actuarial graduation of mortality rates. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Exponential inequalities for sums of random vectors

This paper presents some generalizations of S. N. Bernstein's exponential bounds on probabilities of large deviations to the vector case. Inequalities for probabilities of large deviations of sums of independent random vectors are derived under a Cramér's type restriction on the rate of growth of absolute moments of the summands. Estimates are obtained for random vectors with values in Banach space, Sharper bounds hold in the case of finite-dimensional Euclidean or separable Hilbert spaces.     

Construction of sundials via vectors

A method based on oblique projection is presented for construction of sundials. The derived formulas are classical, but usage of vectors and projections renders a coherent presentation rather than a number of special cases. The presented work is aimed to be useful for those taking a beginning module on vector algebra.     

Convexity and marginal vectors

In this paper we construct sets of marginal vectors of a TU game with the property that if the marginal vectors from these sets are core elements, then the game is convex. This approach leads to new upperbounds on the number of marginal vectors needed to characterize convexity. Another result is that the relative number of marginals needed to characterize convexity converges to zero. Received: May 2002
