Generalized Fuzzy Lie Ideals of Lie Algebras

In this paper we introduce new generalized fuzzy Lie ideals of Lie algebras and study some of their important properties.We characterize these generalized Lie ideals of Lie algebras by their level subsets.Some characterization of the generalized fuzzy Lie ideals of Lie algebras are also established.     

Generalised Chain Conditions,Prime Ideals,and Classes of Locally Finite Lie Algebras

A Noetherian (Artinian) Lie algebra satisfies the maximal (minimal) condition for ideals.Generalisations include quasi-Noetherian and quasi-Artinian Lie algebras.We study conditions on prime ideals relating these properties.We prove that the radicalof any ideal of a quasi-Artinian Lie algebra is the intersection of finitely many prime ideals,and an ideally finite Lie algebra is quasi-Noetherian if and only if it is qussi-Artinian.Both properties are equivalent to soluble-by-finite.We also prove a structure theorem for serially finite Artinian Lie algebras.     

Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on Lie algebras

We study ideals of Novikov algebras and Novikov structures on finite-dimensional Lie algebras. We present the first example of a three-step nilpotent Lie algebra which does not admit a Novikov structure. On the other hand we show that any free three-step nilpotent Lie algebra admits a Novikov structure. We study the existence question also for Lie algebras of triangular matrices. Finally we show that there are families of Lie algebras of arbitrary high solvability class which admit Novikov structures.

Systems of Quotients of Lie Triple Systems

In this article, we introduce the notion of system of quotients of Lie triple systems and investigate some properties which can be lifted from a Lie triple system to its systems of quotients. We relate the notion of Lie triple system of Martindale-like quotients with respect to a filter of ideals and the notion of system of quotients, and prove that the system of quotients of a Lie triple system is equivalent to the algebra of quotients of a Lie algebra in some sense, and these allow us to construct the maximal system of quotients for nondegenerate Lie triple systems.     

Relationships between the canonical ascending and descending central series of ideals of an associative algebra

We consider the canonical descending and ascending central series of ideals of an associative algebra. In particular, we prove that some ideal in the descending central series is finite-dimensional if and only if some ideal in the ascending central series is finite-codimensional. This result is the associative algebra analogue of results due to Reinhold Baer and Philip Hall in group theory and Ian Stewart in Lie algebra. We also prove various related results.     

Uniqueness of the decomposition of lie superalgebras and quadratic lie superalgebras

A Lie superalgebra endowed with a non-degenerate super-symmetric and invariant bilinear form is called a quadratic Lie superalgebra. ln this paper, we consider the decomposition of a Lie superalgebra and the first main result is that the decomposition of a Lie superalgebra into indecomposable graded ideals is unique up to an isomorphism. Next, we obtain the uniqueness of the decomposition of an arbitrary quadratic Lie superalgebra into irreducible graded ideals up to an isometry.     

Oriented tree diagram Lie algebras and their abelian ideals

We introduce oriented tree diagram Lie algebras which are generalized from Xu＇s both upward and downward tree diagram Lie algebras, and study certain numerical invariants of these algebras related to abelian ideals.     

On the Ideals of a Lie Ring of Derivations

Let R be a commutative ring, and D a Lie subring and an R-submodule of Der(R) such that R is D-semiprime (or D-prime). We investigate the structure of the ideals of D as Lie rings. As a consequence, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the ideals of D to be semiprime (or prime, respectively) Lie rings.     

Fuzzy linear programming under interval uncertainty based on IFS representation

The equivalence between the interval-valued fuzzy set (IVFS) and the intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) is exploited to study linear programming problems involving interval uncertainty modeled using IFS. The non-membership of IFS is constructed with three different viewpoints viz., optimistic, pessimistic, and mixed. These constructions along with their indeterminacy factors result in S-shaped membership functions in the fuzzy counterparts of the intuitionistic fuzzy linear programming models. The solution methodology of Yang et al. [45], and its subsequent generalization by Lin and Chen [33] are used to compute the optimal solutions of the three fuzzy linear programming models.     

On Some Ideals in the Free Nonassociative Algebra

The free Lie, right, and left Leibniz algebras are obtained as quotients of the free nonassociative algebra by suitable ideals. In this article, we prove some remarkable properties of these ideals.

Strongly prime algebraic Lie PI-algebras

In a recent paper by the author and Golubkov, it was proved that a strongly prime Lie PI-algebra with an algebraic adjoint representation over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 is simple and finite dimensional. In this note, we derive this result from a more general one on strongly prime Lie PI-algebras with abelian minimal inner ideals, which is closely related to the intrinsic characterization of simple finitary Lie algebras with abelian minimal inner ideals.

On functional identities in left ideals of prime rings

In the present paper we describe surjective Lie and Jordan maps onto left ideals of prime noncommutative rings. Further, we describe bijective linear maps of left ideals of centrally closed prime algebras preserving commutativity.

On ad-nilpotent b-ideals for orthogonal Lie algebras

Krattenthaler, Orsina and Papi provided explicit formulas for the number of ad-nilpotent ideals with fixed class of nilpotence of a Borel subalgebra of a classical Lie algebra. Especially for types A and C they obtained refined results about these ideals with not only fixed class of nilpotence but also fixed dimension. In this paper, we shall follow their algorithm to determine the enumeration of ad-nilpotent b-ideals with fixed class of nilpotence and dimension for orthogonal Lie algebras, i.e., types B and D.
