设ｆ是区间Ｉ＝［０，１］上的扩张的单峰函数，λ是ｆ的扩张常数。又设Ｋ≥３是奇数，ｎ≥３是整数，λｋ是方程ｘ＾ｋ－２ｘ＾ｋ－２－１＝０的最大实根，μｎ是方程ｘ＾ｎ－２ｘ＾ｎ－１＋１＝０的最大实根，本文用较简单的方法证明了，当λ≥λＫ时，ｆ中含有Ｋ－周期轨道，当λ≥μｎ时，ｆ中含有相对于自身的ＲＬ＾ｎ－２Ｃ型单峰周期轨道。此外，本文还讨论了一类方程ｘ＾ｎη（ｘ）＝ζ（ｘ）的根的极限度最性质。     

区间上三段单调扩张自映射的周期轨道

设ｎ３是奇数，ｍ０是整数，Ｓｎ及ｒｎ分别是方程ｘｎ－２ｘｎ－１－１＝０及ｘｎ＋２－３ｘｎ－ｘ２－１＝０的唯一正根，记ｔｎ０＝ｒｎ，ｔｎｉ＝ｓｎ（ｉ１）．又设ｆ及ｇ分别是闭区间Ｉ上的Ｎ型（即增－减－增型）及反Ｎ型（即减－增－减型）扩张自映射．本文证明了，若ｆ（或ｇ）的扩张常数或则ｆ（或ｇ）有２ｍ·ｎ周期点．此外，本文还指出，当或时，在［０，１］上存在着具有扩张常数λ却无２ｍ·ｎ周期轨道的Ｎ型（或反Ｎ型）扩张自映射．     

一类超椭圆方程的整数解

设ｍ，ｎ∈Ｎ；ｍ≥２，ｎ≥２，ｍｎ≥６，ｆ（ｘ）＝ｘｍ＋ａ１ｘｍ－１＋…＋ａｍ∈Ｚ［ｘ］，Ｈ＝ｍａｘ（｜ａ１｜，…，｜ａｍ｜）．本文运用组合分析方法证明了：当ｍ≡０（ｍｏｄｎ），ａ１，…，ａｍ不全为零，而且其中第一个非零系数ａｓ与ｎ互素时，方程ｆ（ｘ）＝ｙｎ，ｘ，ｙ∈Ｚ，仅有有限多组解（ｘ，ｙ），而且这些解都满足｜ｘ｜＜（４ｍＨ）２ｍ／ｎ＋１以及｜ｙ｜＜（４ｍＨ）４ｍ２／ｎ２＋ｍ／ｎ＋１

On the uniform hyperbolicity of some nonuniformly hyperbolic systems

We give sufficient conditions for the uniform hyperbolicity of certain nonuniformly hyperbolic dynamical systems. In particular, we show that local diffeomorphisms that are nonuniformly expanding on sets of total probability (probability one with respect to every invariant probability measure) are necessarily uniformly expanding. We also present a version of this result for diffeomorphisms with nonuniformly hyperbolic sets.

     

On the Relation of Shadowing and Expansivity in Nonautonomous Discrete Systems

In this paper we study shadowing property for sequences of mappings on compact metric spaces,i.e.,nonautonomous discrete dynamical systems.We investigate the relations of various expansivity properties with shadowing and h-shadowing property.     

Positively expansive differentiable maps

We study the space of positively expansive differentiable maps of a compact connected C ∞ Riemannian manifold without boundary. It is proved that （i） the C1-interior of the set of positively expansive differentiable maps coincides with the set of expanding maps, and （ii） Cl-generically, a differentiable map is positively expansive if and only if it is expanding.

Non-wandering Expanding Maps on Branched 1-Manifolds and Smale–Williams Solenoids

In this paper, we give a criterion of whether there are non-wandering expanding maps on a given branched 1-manifold. As an application, we give an example of a dynamic on a 3-manifold having non-zero first Betti number, the non-wander sets of which are two Smale–Williams solenoids.     

Expanding maps on infra-nilmanifolds of homogeneous type

In this paper we investigate expanding maps on infra-nilmanifolds. Such manifolds are obtained as a quotient , where is a connected and simply connected nilpotent Lie group and is a torsion-free uniform discrete subgroup of , with a compact subgroup of . We show that if the Lie algebra of is homogeneous (i.e., graded and generated by elements of degree 1), then the corresponding infra-nilmanifolds admit an expanding map. This is a generalization of the result of H. Lee and K. B. Lee, who treated the 2-step nilpotent case.
