本文借助于边条件空间的几何结构,证明了自伴的高阶常微分算子特征值的解析重数等于几何重数,这是对常型Sturm-Liouville问题相关结果的一个推广.     

上三角无穷维Hamilton算子特征值的代数指标

无穷维Hamilton算子特征函数系是否完备与其代数指标有关,研究了上三角无穷维Hamilton算子特征值的代数指标问题,基于主对角元的特征值和特征向量的某些性质,得到上三角无穷维Hamilton算子的几何重数和代数重数.     

具有五个不同于0和1的Laplacian特征值的单圈图

设$U$是$n$阶单圈图, $m_{U}(1)$是$U$的拉普拉斯特征值1的重数.众所周知,0是连通图重数为1的拉普拉斯特征值.这意味着如果$U$有五个不同于0和1的拉普拉斯特征值,那么$m_U(1)=n-6$.本文完整刻画了$m_U(1)=n-6$的所有单圈图.     

Jordan标准形的计算与矩阵相似的判定

利用矩阵特征值的代数重数及几何重数的概念,给出计算三阶、四阶复方阵的Jordan标准形的一种新方法;并进一步讨论了三阶、四阶复方阵的相似问题,得到判断任意两个三阶、四阶复方阵相似的充要条件.

利用方阵的特征方程和Jordan标准型,可得出方阵的秩R、零特征值代数重数r、几何重数s之间存在的两个关系式．即n-r≤R〈n和R=n-s．而这两个关系式又可用于简化方阵特征值和秩的求解．揭示矩阵零特征值代数重数与矩阵秩之间的内在必然联系．

证明0是对应于带特殊重试时间的M/M/1重试排队模型主算子的几何重数为1的特征值,0是此主算子的共轭算子的特征值.     

一类可靠性模型的其它特征值

研究由一个可靠机器,一个不可靠机器与一个无穷容量的缓冲库构成的系统主算子在左半复平面中的特征值,证明对一切θ∈（0,1）,（2（λη_1μη_2）~（1/2）-λη_1-μη_2）θ都是该主算子的几何重数为1的一个特征值.     

Geometry of quasilinear hyperbolic systems with characteristic fields of constant multiplicity

In this paper, we study the regularity of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors and the existence of normalized coordinates for quasilinear hyperbolic systems with characteristic fields of constant multiplicity. We prove that the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the system have the same regularity as the coefficients of the system. On the other hand, we show that, for the quasilinear hyperbolic system of conservation laws with characteristic fields of constant multiplicity, the normalized coordinates exist on the domain under consideration.     

Computation of eigenvalues of perturbed discrete semibounded operators

To compute the eigenvalues of a perturbed discrete semibounded operator, systems are obtained for the first time in which the number of equations is equal to the multiplicity of the corresponding eigenvalues of the unperturbed operator.     

Note on a nonlocal Sturm–Liouville problem with both right and left fractional derivatives

In this paper, we research the geometric multiplicity of eigenvalues for a nonlocal Sturm–Liouville eigenvalue problem. To this end, we study the uniqueness of solutions for a nonlocal Sturm–Liouville problem under some initial value conditions.     

The algebraic multiplicity of the complex eigenvalues of population operator and its application

In this paper we discuss the algebraic multiplicity of the complex eigenvalue of population operator. Under certain condition we first prove that all the complex eigenvalues of this operator, except at most finitely many ones, are of algebraic multiplicity 1,and then, as an application of this result, we obtain the asymptotic expansion of the solution of corresponding population system.     

Multiplicities and relative position of eigenvalues of a quadratic pencil of Sturm-Liouville operators

For boundary value problems generated by a second-order differential equation with regular nonseparated boundary conditions, criteria for the eigenvalues to be multiple are given and the relative position of the eigenvalues is studied.
