Let Mn be a totally real pseudo-umbilical submanifold in a complex projective space CPn+p. In this paper, we study the position of completeness of Mn. By choosing a suitable frame field, we obtain a rigidity theorem such that Mn becomes totally umbilical submanifold and improve the related results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the concept of a g-Besselian frame in a Hilbert space and discuss the relations between a g-Besselian frame and a Besselian frame. We also give some characterizations of g-Besselian frames. In the end of this paper, we discuss the stability of g-Besselian frames. Our results show that the relations and the characterizations between a g-Besselian frame and a Besselian frame are different from the corresponding results of g-frames and frames.  相似文献

We prove that for a compact Finsler manifold M with nonnegative weighted Ricci curvature,if its first closed(resp.Neumann)eigenvalue of Finsler-Laplacian attains the sharp lower bound,then M is isometric to a circle(resp.a segment).Moreover,a lower bound of the first eigenvalue of Finsler-Laplacian with Dirichlet boundary condition is also estimated.These generalize the corresponding results in recent literature.  相似文献

In this paper,we establish the first variational formula and its Euler-Lagrange equation for the total 2p-th mean curvature functional M2p of a submanifold M n in a general Riemannian manifold N n+m for p = 0,1,...,[n 2 ].As an example,we prove that closed complex submanifolds in complex projective spaces are critical points of the functional M2p,called relatively 2p-minimal submanifolds,for all p.At last,we discuss the relations between relatively 2p-minimal submanifolds and austere submanifolds in real space forms,as well as a special variational problem.  相似文献

In the studies of nonlinear partial differential equations, the influence, from the singularities of coefficients to the singularities of solution, is a field that has not been dealt with. In this paper, we discuss a simple case of semilinear equations under the frame of the space of conormal distributions. We prove the result that the solution has the same singularities on the hypersurface in which the coefficients have the conormal singularities.  相似文献

In the determination of the Earth gravity field in satellite geodesy, the inclination functions represent the projection of data observed along the orbital plane of a satellite orbit into the sphere in the terrestial reference frame. In this paper, we analyze the problem of constructing a surface pencil from a given spacelie (timelike) line of curvature. Using the Frenet frame of the given line of curvature in Minkowski 3-space, we express the surface pencil as a linear combination of this frame and derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for the coefficients to satisfy the line of curvature requirement. A frame is an orthonormal basis-like collection of vectors in a Hilbert space, but need not be a basis or orthonormal. A fusion frame (frame of subspaces) is a frame-like collection of subspaces in a Hilbert space, thereby constructing a frame for the whole space by joining sequences of frames for subspaces. Moreover the notion of fusion frames provide a framework for applications and providing efficient and robust information processing algorithms.In this paper we study the conditions under which removing an element from a fusion frame, again we obtain another fusion frame. Let F be the underlying base field of characteristic p > 3 and denote by M the even part of the finite-dimensional simple modular Lie superalgebra M. In this paper, the generator sets of the Lie algebra M which will be heavily used to consider the derivation algebra Der(M) are given. Furthermore, the derivation algebra of M is determined by reducing derivations and a torus of M, i.e.,As a result, the derivation algebra of the even part of M does not equal the even part of the derivation superalgebra of M.  相似文献

Moreover, $M$ is either a totally umbilic sphere $S^n\big(\frac{1}{\sqrt{1+H^2}}\big)$, a Clifford hypersurface $S^{m}\big(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2(1+H^2)}}\big)\times S^{m}\big(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2(1+H^2)}}\big)$ in the totally umbilic sphere $S^{n+1}\big(\frac{1}{\sqrt{1+H^2}}\big)$ with $n=2m$, or $\mathbb{C}P^{2}\big(\frac{4}{3}(1+H^2)\big)$ in $S^7\big(\frac{1}{\sqrt{1+H^2}}\big)$. In this work we consider connected, complete and orientable hypersurfaces of the sphere with constant nonnegative -mean curvature. We prove that under subsidiary conditions, if the Gauss image of is contained in a closed hemisphere, then is totally umbilic.

Let(M~n, g)(n ≥ 3) be an n-dimensional complete Riemannian manifold with harmonic curvature and positive Yamabe constant. Denote by R and R?m the scalar curvature and the trace-free Riemannian curvature tensor of M, respectively. The main result of this paper states that R?m goes to zero uniformly at infinity if for p ≥ n, the L~p-norm of R?m is finite.As applications, we prove that(M~n, g) is compact if the L~p-norm of R?m is finite and R is positive, and(M~n, g) is scalar flat if(M~n, g) is a complete noncompact manifold with nonnegative scalar curvature and finite L~p-norm of R?m. We prove that(M~n, g) is isometric to a spherical space form if for p ≥n/2, the L~p-norm of R?m is sufficiently small and R is positive.In particular, we prove that(M~n, g) is isometric to a spherical space form if for p ≥ n, R is positive and the L~p-norm of R?m is pinched in [0, C), where C is an explicit positive constant depending only on n, p, R and the Yamabe constant.  相似文献

D. Gromoll and W. Meyer have represented a certain exotic 7-sphere as a biquotient of the compact Lie group . Thus any invariant normal homogeneous metric on induces a metric of nonnegative sectional curvature on . We show that the simplest such metrics (except the bi-invariant one) induce metrics which have in fact strictly positive curvature outside a subset of with measure zero.

The orthogonal multi-matching pursuit (OMMP) is a natural extension of the orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP).We denote the OMMP with the parameter $M$ as OMMP($M$) where $M$ ≥ 1 is an integer. The main difference between OMP and OMMP($M$) is that OMMP($M$) selects $M$ atoms per iteration, while OMP only adds one atom to the optimal atom set. In this paper, we study the performance of orthogonal multi-matching pursuit under RIP. In particular, we show that, when the measurement matrix $A$ satisfies (25$s$, 1/10)-RIP, OMMP($M_0$) with $M_0$ = 12 can recover $s$-sparse signals within $s$ iterations. We furthermore prove that OMMP($M$) can recover $s$-sparse signals within $O(s/M)$ iterations for a large class of $M$.  相似文献

A right module $M$ over an associative ring $R$ with unity is a $QTAG$-module if every finitely generated submodule of any homomorphic image of $M$ is a direct sum of uniserial modules. This article considers the closure of $h$-pure-$S$-high submodules of $QTAG$-modules. Here, we determine all submodules $S$ of a $QTAG$-module $M$ such that each closure of $h$-pure-$S$-high submodule of $M$ is $h$-pure-$\overline{S}$-high in $\overline{M}$. A few results of this theme give a comparison of some elementary properties of $h$-pure-$S$-high and $S$-high submodules.  相似文献

In general, the space of $L^p$ harmonic forms $\mathcal{H}^k(L^p(M))$ and reduced $L^p$ cohomology $H^k(L^p(M))$ might be not isomorphic on a complete Riemannian manifold $M$, except for $p=2$. Nevertheless, one can consider whether $\mathrm{dim}\mathcal{H}^k(L^p(M))<+\infty$ are equivalent to $\mathrm{dim}H^k(L^p(M))<+\infty$. In order to study such kind of problems, this paper obtains that dimension of space of $L^p$ harmonic forms on a hypersurface in unit sphere with finite total curvature is finite, which is also a generalization of the previous work by Zhu. The next step will be the investigation of dimension of the reduced $L^p$ cohomology on such hypersurfaces.  相似文献
