有限维中心代数上矩阵方程组的广对称解与斜广对称解

设Ω是一个具有对合反自同构的有限维中心代数且charΩ≠2.本文在Ω上定义了广对称矩阵和斜广对称矩阵,在Ω[λ]上考虑了三个矩阵方程组,分别给出了其有广对称解和斜广对称的充要条件.作为特例,得到了某些矩阵方程相应的结果.     

一类非线性矩阵方程对称解的双迭代算法

利用逆矩阵的Neumann级数形式,将在Schur插值问题中遇到的含未知矩阵二次项之逆的非线性矩阵方程转化为高次多项式矩阵方程,然后采用牛顿算法求高次多项式矩阵方程的对称解,并采用修正共轭梯度法求由牛顿算法每一步迭代计算导出的线性矩阵方程的对称解或者对称最小二乘解,建立求非线性矩阵方程的对称解的双迭代算法.双迭代算法仅要求非线性矩阵方程有对称解,不要求它的对称解唯一,也不对它的系数矩阵做附加限定.数值算例表明,双迭代算法是有效的.     

双矩阵变量Riccati矩阵方程对称解的迭代算法

研究一类双矩阵变量Riccati矩阵方程(R-ME)对称解的数值计算问题.运用牛顿算法求R-ME的对称解时,会导出求双矩阵变量线性矩阵方程的对称解或者对称最小二乘解的问题,采用修正共轭梯度法解决导出的线性矩阵方程约束解问题,可建立求R-ME的对称解的迭代算法.数值算例表明,迭代算法是有效的.     

求Lyapunov矩阵方程的双对称解的迭代算法

本文研究了Lyapunov矩阵方程.利用共轭梯度法,建立了求该矩阵方程双对称解的迭代算法.同时,也能给出指定矩阵的最佳逼近双对称矩阵.     

一类对称正交反对称矩阵反问题的最佳逼近

讨论了一类对称正交反对称反问题的最佳逼近.利用对称正交反对称矩阵的特殊性质,给出了矩阵方程AX=B有对称正交反对称解的充要条件以及解的一般表达式;证明最佳逼近解的存在惟一性并给出其表达式;最后给出计算任意矩阵的最佳逼近解的数值方法及算例.     

矩阵方程ATXA=B的对称广义中心对称解

本文研究了一类矩阵方程AT XA=B的对称广义中心对称解.利用广义奇异值分解和广义逆矩阵,获得了该方程有对称广义中心对称解的充要条件及解的通式,并讨论了解对于已知矩阵的最佳逼近问题,得到了解的表达式.     

双对称矩阵的一类反问题

给定矩阵X和B,得到了矩阵方程X^TAX=B有双对称解的充分必要条件及有解时解的一般表达式．用SE表示此矩阵方程的解集合,证明了SE中存在唯一的矩阵^↑A,使得^↑A与给定矩阵A^*的差的Frbenius范数最小,并且给出了矩阵^↑A的表达式。     

一类Lyapunov矩阵方程的双反对称解的迭代算法

基于求线性代数方程组的共轭梯度法的思想,建立一种求Lyapunov矩阵方程的双反对称解的迭代算法,对任意给定的初始双反对称矩阵,算法能够在有限步迭代计算后得到矩阵方程的极小范数双反对称解,同时在上述解集中也可得出指定矩阵的最佳逼近双反称矩阵.数值算例表明,迭代算法是有效的.     

广义次对称矩阵的左右逆特征对问题

本文研究广义次对称矩阵的左右逆特征对问题及其最佳逼近问题.利用广义次对称矩阵的特殊性质得到问题有解的充要条件以及通解表达式.同时给出其唯一的最佳逼近解以及求最佳逼近解的算法与实例.     

Partitioning of invariant imbedding systems

The choice of partitioning the system matrix for a system of N linear ordinary differential equations may determine the ease or difficulty of obtaining a solution by the invariant imbedding method of Scott. This paper shows how the configuration and partitioning of the system matrix is reflected in the fundamental matrix. The partitioning of the fundamental matrix is the key to the ease or difficulty of obtaining a solution. If the fundamental matrix is known for a given system matrix configuration and partitioning, then the fundamental matrix associated with a new system matrix configuration may be derived by the same row and column interchanges that transformed the old system matrix into the new system matrix. The fundamental matrix for the new system matrix does not have to be recalculated anew from the Kronecker delta initial conditions.     

Hermite-广义反Hamilton矩阵的一类反问题

给定矩阵X和B,利用矩阵的广义奇异值分解,得到了矩阵方程X~HAX=B有Hermite-广义反Hamiton解的充分必要条件及有解时解的—般表达式.用S_E表示此矩阵方程的解集合,证明了S_E中存在唯一的矩阵(?),使得(?)与给定矩阵A的差的Frobenius范数最小,并且给出了矩阵(?)的表达式;同时也证明了S_E中存在唯一的矩阵A_o,使得A_o是此矩阵方程的极小Frobenius范数Hermite-广义反Hamilton解,并且给出了矩阵A_o的表达式.     

广义循环矩阵的一个性质

可表为非奇异对角矩阵和循环矩阵乘积的矩阵,我们称其为广义循环矩阵.本文给出了单位矩阵与广义循环矩阵的和矩阵的非奇异的充要条件,得到了这样和矩阵的相对增益阵列的显示表达式.

In this paper, the authors obtained asymptotic expressions for the joint distributions of certain functions of the eigenvalues of the Wishart matrix, correlation matrix, MANOVA matrix and canonical correlation matrix when the population roots have multiplicity.

Radicals of matrix rings generated by a companion matrix

The radicals of full matrix rings as well as structural matrix rings have been studied extensively and there is a well-developed theory for both. Here we initiate the radical theory for another class of matrix rings over a given ring; the matrix ring generated by the companion matrix of a polynomial over the ring.     

Inverting linear combinations of identity and generalized Catalan matrices

We introduce the notion of the generalized Catalan matrix as a kind of lower triangular Toeplitz matrix whose nonzero elements involve the generalized Catalan numbers. Inverse of the linear combination of the Pascal matrix with the identity matrix is computed in Aggarwala and Lamoureux (2002) [1]. In this paper, continuing this idea, we invert various linear combinations of the generalized Catalan matrix with the identity matrix. A simple and efficient approach to invert the Pascal matrix plus one in terms of the Hadamard product of the Pascal matrix and appropriate lower triangular Toeplitz matrices is considered in Yang and Liu (2006) [14]. We derive representations for inverses of linear combinations of the generalized Catalan matrix and the identity matrix, in terms of the Hadamard product which includes the Generalized Catalan matrix and appropriate lower triangular Toeplitz matrix.     

Sharp bounds on the spectral radius of a nonnegative matrix

We give upper and lower bounds for the spectral radius of a nonnegative matrix using its row sums and characterize the equality cases if the matrix is irreducible. Then we apply these bounds to various matrices associated with a graph, including the adjacency matrix, the signless Laplacian matrix, the distance matrix, the distance signless Laplacian matrix, and the reciprocal distance matrix. Some known results in the literature are generalized and improved.     

模糊层次分析法在矩阵论教材评价方面的应用

基础学科的教材直接影响学生的基本功,尤其是几乎每个学科都会涉及的数学类教材,如矩阵论.矩阵论是研究生的基础课程,在对学生以后的学术道路有举足轻重的作用.所以选择一本合适的教材,对学生和教师来说都有不小的帮助.然而,对教材的评价而言,不能单单从一个方面入手,因此将模糊综合分析法与层次分析法结合,在矩阵论教材的评价方面建立评价体系,为高校选择合适的教材提供依据.
