We give a full classification of Lie algebras of specific type in complexified Clifford algebras. These 16 Lie algebras are direct sums of subspaces of quaternion types. We obtain isomorphisms between these Lie algebras and classical matrix Lie algebras in the cases of arbitrary dimension and signature. We present 16 Lie groups: one Lie group for each Lie algebra associated with this Lie group. We study connection between these groups and spin groups.  相似文献

The graded Hecke algebra for a finite Weyl group is intimately related to the geometry of the Springer correspondence. A construction of Drinfeld produces an analogue of a graded Hecke algebra for any finite subgroup of GL(V). This paper classifies all the algebras obtained by applying Drinfeld's construction to complex reflection groups. By giving explicit (though nontrivial) isomorphisms, we show that the graded Hecke algebras for finite real reflection groups constructed by Lusztig are all isomorphic to algebras obtained by Drinfeld's construction. The classification shows that there exist algebras obtained from Drinfeld's construction which are not graded Hecke algebras as defined by Lusztig for real as well as complex reflection groups. We introduce quasi-homomorphisms of cluster algebras, a flexible notion of a map between cluster algebras of the same type (but with different coefficients). The definition is given in terms of seed orbits, the smallest equivalence classes of seeds on which the mutation rules for non-normalized seeds are unambiguous. We present examples of quasi-homomorphisms involving familiar cluster algebras, such as cluster structures on Grassmannians, and those associated with marked surfaces with boundary. We explore the related notion of a quasi-automorphism, and compare the resulting group with other groups of symmetries of cluster structures. For cluster algebras from surfaces, we determine the subgroup of quasi-automorphisms inside the tagged mapping class group of the surface.  相似文献

For modular group algebras over an arbitrary field we define new type of blocks: blocks with nilpotent extensions, and describe their source algebras. To do it, a general pattern is proposed for relations between the source algebra of a block and the source algebra of a block appearing in its decomposition in a suitable extension of the field of coefficients.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop algebraic approaches to the construction of Anosov diffeomorphisms on compact manifolds. Two mutually dual constructions are described, which provide numerous new examples of Anosov diffeomorphisms on nilmanifolds. The basis of the constructions is the operation of tensor multiplication of Lie algebras by appropriate finite-dimensional associative-commutative algebras. We construct an action of a braid group associated to a complete graph on the derived category of a certain symmetric Nakayama algebra which is also a Brauer star algebra with no exceptional vertex. We connect this action with the affine braid group action on Brauer star algebras defined by Schaps and Zakay–Illouz. We show that for Brauer star algebras with no exceptional vertex, the action is faithful.  相似文献

Abstract

In this work, we show that a two-sided mod-retractable and strongly π-regular ring is two-sided semiartinian. On the other hand, a strongly π-regular von Neumann regular ring is left mod-retractable if and only if it is a left semiartinian V-ring. We apply these results to group algebras and thereby we give the complete structure of groups whose group algebras are mod-retractable.

A cyclic cohomology theory adapted to Hopf algebras has been introduced recently by Connes and Moscovici. In this paper, we consider this object in the homological framework, in the spirit of Loday and Quillen and Karoubi's work on the cyclic homology of associative algebras. In the case of group algebras, we interpret the decomposition of the classical cyclic homology of a group algebra in terms of this homology. We also compute both cyclic homologies for truncated quiver algebras.  相似文献

We define graded group schemes and graded group varieties and develop their theory. Graded group schemes are the graded analogue of a?ne group schemes and are in correspondence with graded Hopf algebras. Graded group varieties take the place of infinitesimal group schemes. We generalize the result that connected graded bialgebras are graded Hopf algebra to our setting and we describe the algebra structure of graded group varieties. We relate these new objects to the classical ones providing a new and broader framework for the study of graded Hopf algebras and a?ne group schemes.  相似文献

Consider the coradical filtrations of the Hopf algebras of planar binary trees of Loday and Ronco and of permutations of Malvenuto and Reutenauer. We give explicit isomorphisms showing that the associated graded Hopf algebras are dual to the cocommutative Hopf algebras introduced in the late 1980's by Grossman and Larson. These Hopf algebras are constructed from ordered trees and heap-ordered trees, respectively. These results follow from the fact that whenever one starts from a Hopf algebra that is a cofree graded coalgebra, the associated graded Hopf algebra is a shuffle Hopf algebra. The purpose of this paper is to show the vastness of the class of generalized strongly monomial groups and the implication of its study on monomiality questions studied by group theorists. The so called generalized strongly monomial groups, which is a generalization of strongly monomial groups introduced by Olivieri, del Río and Simón, arose in a recent work of authors while understanding the algebraic structure of rational group algebras.  相似文献
