本文用量子力学的方法处理了分子在失调腔中的辐射行为。解释了Higa在双腔Maser实验中发现的现象:当第一个腔的频率失调达到某一临界值时,在第二个腔中发生按分子中心频率的突发振荡。求出产生这种突发振荡现象的临界失调公式。也考虑了合作效应的影响。并定性地解释了Страховский等的分子在第二腔中的辐射功率与第一腔频率失调程度的相关性的实验。  相似文献

We analyze experimentally and theoretically mechanical oscillation within an optical cavity stimulated by the pressure of circulating optical radiation. The resulting radio frequency cavity vibrations (phonon mode) cause modulation of the incident, continuous-wave (cw) input pump beam. Furthermore, with increasing cw pump power, an evolution from sinusoidal modulation to random oscillations is observed in the pump power coupled from the resonator. The temporal evolution with pump power is studied, and agreement was found with theory. In addition to applications in quantum optomechanics, the present work suggests that radiation-pressure-induced effects can establish a practical limit for the miniaturization of optical silica microcavities.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the photon correlations and the statistical properties of light produced by an optical cavity with an embedded quantum well interacting with squeezed light. We show that the squeezed source substantially improves the intensity of the emitted light and generates a narrowing and a duplication of the spectrum peaks. With a strong dependence on frequency detuning, the cavity produces considerably squeezed radiation, and perfect squeezing is predicted for weak light–matter interactions. Furthermore, the system under consideration presents a bunching effect of the transmitted radiation resulting from weak pumping of the coherent field. The results obtained may have potential applications in the fields of very accurate measurement and quantum computing.  相似文献

We analyze the photon statistics of a weakly driven cavity quantum electrodynamics system and discuss the effects of photon blockade and photon-induced tunneling by effectively utilizing instead of avoiding the center-of-mass motion of a two-level atom trapped in the cavity. With the resonant interaction between atom, photon and phonon, it is shown that the bunching and anti-bunching of photons can occur with properly driving frequency. Our study shows the influence of the imperfect cooling of atom on the blockade and provides an attempt to take advantage of the center-of-mass motion.  相似文献

We theoretically study the four-wave mixing(FWM) response in a quantum dot-cavity coupling system, where a two-level quantum dot(QD) is placed in an optical cavity while the cavity mode is coupled to the nanomechanical resonator via radiation pressure. The influences of the QD-cavity coupling strength, the Rabi coupling strength of the QD, and the power of the pump light on the FWM intensity are mainly considered. The numerical results show that the FWM intensity in this hybrid system can be significantly enhanced by increasing the QD-cavity coupling strength. In addition, the FWM intensity can be effectively modulated by the Rabi coupling strength and the pump power. Furthermore, the effects of the cavity decay rate and the cavitypump detuning on the FWM signal are also explored. The obtained results may have potential applications in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information science.  相似文献

机械振子的基态冷却是腔量子光力学中的基本问题之一.所谓的基态冷却就是让机械振子的稳态声子数小于1.本文通过光压涨落谱和稳态声子数研究双光腔光力系统(标准单光腔光力系统中引入第二个光腔,并与第一个光腔直接耦合)的基态冷却.首先得到系统的有效哈密顿量,然后给出朗之万方程和速率方程,最后分别给出空腔和原子腔的光压涨落谱、冷却率和稳态声子数.通过光压涨落谱、冷却率和稳态声子数表达式,重点讨论空腔时机械振子的基态冷却,发现当满足最佳参数条件(机械振子的冷却跃迁速率对应光压涨落谱的最大值,而加热跃迁速率对应光压涨落谱的最小值)时,机械振子可以被冷却到稳态声子数足够少.此外分析:当辅助腔内注入原子系综时,若参数选择恰当可能更利于基态冷却.  相似文献

A quantum theory of cooling of a mechanical oscillator by radiation pressure-induced dynamical backaction is developed, which is analogous to sideband cooling of trapped ions. We find that final occupancies well below unity can be attained when the mechanical oscillation frequency is larger than the optical cavity linewidth. It is shown that the final average occupancy can be retrieved directly from the optical output spectrum.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics of palrwise quantum discord (QD) for a mixed three-qubit W-type state in three independent non-Markovian reservoirs at zero temperature, each of which is modeled by a leaky cavity with Lorentzian spectral density. The influence of the environment's amount of non-Markovianity, the detuning between the qubit frequency and the cavity centre frequency, and the purity of the initial state on the QD dynamics are analyzed in detail. It is found that in the non-Maxkovian regime the system-reservoir interactions induce QD revivals and oscillations no matter whether the detuning is zero or not. Moreover, QD can be preserved for a long time if the non-Markovian condition and the detuning condition are satisfied simultaneously.  相似文献

We propose a ground-state cooling scheme for a nanomechanical oscillator(NMO)that interacts with an optical cavity via radiation pressure at one side and with a superconducting microwave cavity via a capacitor at the other side.By driving these two cavities on their respective red sidebands with extra laser and microwave fields,the NMO’s dual cooling channel is created through electro-optomechanical cooperation.Differing from the conventional optomechanical system with a single optical cavity wherein ground-state cooling is limited in the resolved sideband,the proposed scheme allows the optical cavity to function in an unresolved sideband regime under the cooperation of a microwave cavity with a high quality factor,or vice versa.In a weak coupling regime we demonstrate that the NMO can be cooled to near its ground-state from a finite temperature with a cooling rate that is significantly faster than that of the single-cavity optomechanical system.The heating process can be completely suppressed by the cooperation of the dual cooling channel by appropriately selecting the system’s parameters.With a decreasing thermal phonon number,the numerical results of final mechanical occupancy gradually approach the analytical cooling limit.  相似文献

PbI2/MoS2,as a typical van der Waals(vdW)heterostructure,has attracted intensive attention owing to its remarkable electronic and optoelectronic properties.In this work,the effect of defects on the electronic structures of a PbI2/MoS2 heterointerface has been systematically investigated.The manner in which the defects modulate the band structure of PbI2/MoS2,including the band gap,band edge,band alignment,and defect energy-level density within the band gap is discussed herein.It is shown that sulfur defects tune the band gaps,iodine defects shift the positions of the band edge and Fermi level,and lead defects realize the conversions between the straddling-gap band alignment and valence-band-aligned gap,thus enhancing the light-absorption ability of the material.  相似文献

研究了Fabry-Perot光学腔中包含一个光学参量放大器来增强腔场与机械振子之间的耦合的光机械动力学行为.在解析边带机制下用量子郞之万方程具体研究了振子的涨落光谱、光学多稳态行为、机械阻尼与修正共振频移和基态冷却.通过数值解讨论了辐射压力诱导机械振子和腔场的稳态振幅所展现的光学多稳态行为,同时也分析了辐射压力引起的修正共振频移和机械阻尼与参量增益、输入激光功率和参量相位这三个因素的关系.此外,随着调节泵浦场的参量相位,振子的涨落光谱呈现简正模式分裂.通过精确求解最终有效声子数论证了基态冷却.结果表明,机械振子的冷却由初始浴温度、机械品质因数和参量相位这个三个因素控制.参量相提供一个新的方法来操控非线性光机械动力学.  相似文献

We propose a potential scheme of preparing Schrödinger-cat state of the cavity mode by placing an rf-superconducting quantum interference device (rf-SQUID) in a single-mode microwave cavity. By properly adjusting the detuning and the strength regarding the radiation fields, we show how to generate single-mode Schrödinger-cat state. Generalizing this method we discuss the generation of the engtangled coherent states. The experimental feasibility of our scheme is discussed under consideration of the cavity decay.  相似文献

We studied the entanglement of a quantum system consisting of a Jaynes-Cummings atom, thermal lossless cavity and an isolated atom. The analytical expressions of the atom-atom negativity for separable and entangled initial atomic states were obtained. The influence of a detuning between the atomic transition frequency and the field frequency and direct dipole-dipole interaction on an atom-atom entanglement is examined. We showed that for a separable initial atomic states a detuning might cause high atom-atom entanglement in the presence of the dipole-dipole interaction. We also obtained that for an entangled initial atomic state a detuning causes a stabilization of an entanglement oscillations both for model with dipole-dipole interaction and model without such interaction.  相似文献

We present a detailed theoretical study of non-Markovian dynamics in the fluorescence spectrum of a driven semiconductor quantum dot (QD), embedded in a cavity and coupled to a three-dimensional (3D) acoustic phonon reservoir. In particular, we investigate the effect of pure dephasing on one of the side-peaks of the Mollow-triplet spectrum, expressed in terms of the off-diagonal element of the reduced system operator. The QD is modeled as a two-level system with an excited state representing a single exciton, and ground state represents the absence of an exciton. Coupling to the radiative modes of the cavity is treated within usual Born–Markov approximation, whereas dot-phonon coupling is discussed within non-Markovian regime beyond Born approximation. Using an equation-of-motion technique, the dot-phonon coupling is solved exactly and found that the exact result coincides with that of obtained within Born approximation. Furthermore, a Markov approximation is carried out with respect to the phonon interaction and compared with the non-Markovian lineshape for different values of the phonon bath temperature. We have found that coupling to the phonons vanishes for a resonant pump laser. For a non-resonant pump, we have characterized the effect of dot-laser detuning and temperature of the phonon bath on the lineshape. The sideband undergoes a distinct narrowing and acquires an asymmetric shape with increasing phonon bath temperature. We have explained this behavior using a dressed-state picture of the QD levels.  相似文献

We investigate analytically the dynamics of classical and quantum correlations between two strongly driven atoms, each of which is trapped inside a dissipative cavity. It is found that there exists a finite time interval during which the quantum discord initially prepared in the X-type states is not destroyed by the decay of the cavities. The sudden transition between classical correlation and quantum discord is sensitive to the initial-state parameter, the cavity decay rate, and the cavity mode-driving field detuning. Interestingly, we show that the transition time can be prolonged significantly by increasing the degree of the detuning.  相似文献

Atoms trapped in micro-cavities and interacting through the exchange of virtual photons can be modeled as an anisotropic Heisenberg spin-1/2 lattice. We do the quantum field theoretical study of such a system using the Abelian bosonization method followed by the renormalization group analysis. An infinite order Berezinskii-Kosterliz-Thouless transition is replaced by second order XY transition even when an infinitesimal anisotropy in exchange coupling is introduced. We predict a quantum phase transition between the photonic Coulomb blocked induce Mott insulating and photonic superfluid phases due to detuning between the cavity and laser frequency. A large detuning favors the photonic superfluid phase. We also perform the analysis of Jaynes and Cumming Hamiltonian to support the results of quantum field theoretical study.  相似文献

The radiation-pressure induces the movable mirror and the steady-state amplitude of the cavity field displaying an optical multistable behavior is investigated in detail by numerical evaluation in Fabry–Perot optical cavity. We introduce an approximation scheme to derive and analyze the final effective mean phonon number using linearized quantum Langevin equation to describe optomechanical cooling. Our results show that the movable mirror can be cooled close to its ground state with low initial temperature and high mechanical quality factor.  相似文献

A quantum mechanical superposition of a long-lived, localized phonon and a matter excitation is described. We identify a realization in strained silicon: a low-lying donor transition (P or Li) driven solely by acoustic phonons at wavelengths where high-Q phonon cavities can be built. This phonon-matter resonance is shown to enter the strongly coupled regime where the "vacuum" Rabi frequency exceeds the spontaneous phonon emission into noncavity modes, phonon leakage from the cavity, and phonon anharmonicity and scattering. We introduce a micropillar distributed Bragg reflector Si/Ge cavity, where Q?10(5)-10(6) and mode volumes V?25λ(3) are reachable. These results indicate that single or many-body devices based on these systems are experimentally realizable.  相似文献

Based on superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) coupled to a cavity, we propose a scheme for implementing n SWAP gates simultaneously. In our scheme, the SQUID works in the charge regime, the quantum logic gate operations are performed in the subspace spanned by two charge states |0〉 and |1〉. The interaction between the qubits and the cavity field can be achieved by turning the gate voltage and the external flux. Especially, the gate operation time is independent of the number of the qubits, and the gate operation is insensitive to the initial state of the cavity mode. We also analyze the experimental feasibility that the conditions of the large detuning can be achieved by adjusting the frequency of the cavity mode, and the operation time satisfies the requirement for the designed experiment by choosing suitable detuning and the quality factor of the cavity. Based on the simple operation, our scheme may be realized in this solid-state system, and our idea may be realized in other systems.  相似文献
