By taking a unitary transformation approach, we study two harmonic oscillators with both kinetic coupling and coordinate coupling terms, and derive the density matrix of the system. The results show that the ground state of the system is a rotated two single-mode squeezed state.  相似文献

从拓展紧束缚模型出发,研究了链间耦合对反式聚乙炔多链体系中电子极化子再激发态的晶格位形、净电荷密度、局域能级波函数和态密度的影响。结果发现:对于两条链体系,当链间耦合很小(eV)时,注入到系统中的电子只会在第一条链上诱发产生一个晶格缺陷,形成电子极化子再激发态,这和单链体系是一致,而第二条链仍是二聚化基态。随着链间耦合的增大,第一条链上缺陷的局域度减少而第二条链上的缺陷局域度相应增加,直至两条链上的位形相同。对于多条链(5条链和6条链)体系,当耦合很小(0.05eV)时,电子极化子再激发态也只会存在于一条链上,当链间耦合较强时,极化子再激发态会在链间层次性地扩展开来,并不会出现多条链位形相同。从两条链的能级图上可以看到随着链间耦合的增大,体系的带隙不断的增大和电子态密度显示的是完全吻合的,体系的导电性减弱。通过分析两条链体系在eV和eV的能级态密度,发现链间耦合越强,则中间局域能级的态密度越小,最后没有中间局域态。  相似文献

本文通过建立Λ形四能级原子系统, 研究了微波驱动精细结构能级跃迁引起的电磁诱导负折射效应. 微波场作用于基态精细结构能级之间, 与不同精细结构能级之间的电偶极矩或磁偶极矩发生耦合, 使系统在某些频率处呈现负折射特性.同时, 两个耦合场各自激励一对基态和激发态之间的光学跃迁. 通过改变两个耦合场的频率失谐量控制负折射区域的频带宽度.结果表明, 耦合场失谐时出现负折射特性的频率范围比耦合场共振时迅速缩小, 而且耦合场负失谐和正失谐时的变化规律不同.  相似文献

Master equation of a relevant electronic and vibrational system is derived for a special diabatic basis corresponding to vertical processes. It is shown that bath modes contribute dynamically to the inter-state coupling only at short times. For long times the bath-induced inter-state coupling is static and increases with the contribution of bath modes to the Stokes shift and to the Herzberg-Teller correction of the excited state. Simultaneously, the time evolution of excited state population is studied numerically for the system consisting of two electronic levels interacting with two vibrational modes, coupled to a heat bath. A mutual coupling of the vibrational modes in the excited state is taken into account (Duschinsky effect). Excited state population relaxes faster if interacting vibrational mode dissipates its energy via vibrational mode of a smaller eigenfrequency. Fast component of excited state depopulation cannot be achieved via coherent mode-mode coupling, if the second mode is not directly coupled to the electronic inter-state transition.  相似文献

We introduce a tight-binding chain with a single impurity to act as a quantum data bus for perfect quantum state transfer. Our proposal is based on the weak coupling limit of the two outermost quantum dots to the data bus, which is a gapped system induced by the impurity. By connecting two quantum dots to two sites of the data bus, the system can accomplish a high-fidelity and long-distance quantum state transfer. Numerical simulations for finite system show that the numerical and analytical results of the effective coupling strength agree well with each other. Moreover, we study the robustness of this quantum communication protocol in the presence of disorder in the couplings between the nearest-neighbor quantum dots. We find that the gap of the system plays an important role in robust quantum state transfer.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics of a population of globally coupled FitzHugh-Nagumo oscillators with a time-periodic coupling strength. While for synchronizing global coupling, the in-phase state is always stable, the oscillators split into several cluster states for desynchronizing global coupling, most commonly in two, irrespective of the coupling strength. This confines the ability of the system to form n:m locked states considerably. The prevalence of two and four cluster states leads to large 2:1 and 4:1 subharmonic resonance regions, while at low coupling strength for a harmonic 1:1 or a superharmonic 1:m time-periodic coupling coefficient, any resonances are absent and the system exhibits nonresonant phase drifting cluster states. Furthermore, in the unforced, globally coupled system the frequency of the oscillators in a cluster state is in general lower than that of the uncoupled oscillator and strongly depends on the coupling strength. Periodic variation of the coupling strength at twice the natural frequency causes each oscillator to keep oscillating with its autonomous oscillation period.  相似文献

We propose an efficient scheme to generate a macroscopical quantum superposition state with a cavity optomechanical system, which is composed of a quantum Rabi-Stark model coupling to a mechanical oscillator. In a low-energy subspace of the Rabi-Stark model, the dressed states and then the effective Hamiltonian of the system are given. Due to the coupling of the mechanical oscillator and the atom-cavity system, if the initial state of the atom-cavity system is one of the dressed states, the mechanical oscillator will evolve into a corresponding coherent state. Thus, if the initial state of the atom-cavity system is a superposition of two dressed states, a coherent state superposition of the mechanical oscillator can be generated. The quantum coherence and their distinguishable properties of the two coherent states are exhibited by Wigner distribution. We show that the Stark term can enhance significantly the feasibility and quantum coherence of the generated macroscopic quantum superposition state of the oscillator.  相似文献

研究了Kerr介质中两个耦合二能级原子的纠缠演化规律, 通过concurrence计算了系统的纠缠度, 讨论了系统初态、Kerr 介质和原子之间的偶极相互作用对腔中两个原子纠缠度的影响. 结果表明: 通过适当选取Kerr介质的耦合系数和偶极相互作用强度, 可以获得固定的两原子纠缠, 并且可以提高两原子之间的纠缠, 甚至彻底消除纠缠猝死现象. 关键词: 偶极相互作用 Kerr介质 concurrence  相似文献

The synchronization and asynchronization of two coupled excitable systems are investigated. The two systems with different initial configurations, which are separately a single spiral wave (or a travel wave) and the rest state, can be developed to the synchronizing state with the same spiral wave (or travel wave) in each system, when the coupling is very strong. Decreasing the coupling intensity, two rest states or two different configurations appear in the two systems. The qualitative analysis and interpretation are given.  相似文献

在有耗散的Jaynes-Cummings模型中,对原子与腔复合系统初始处于贝尔态或是原子激发态而腔场为真空态时分别运用微观与唯象学主方程进行求解,并分析这两类主方程在不同耦合区域的区别.结果显示,在强耦合和大失谐情况下,微观主方程求解得到的原子基态的布居数呈线性增长,但唯象学主方程获得的结果却呈非线性增加.在弱耦合区域,这两类主方程求解得到的原子基态布居数都出现快速增加,但是用唯象学主方程要比用微观主方程得到的布居数增加得更快.通过分析与讨论,该结果可能对耗散的腔QED中更好的实现逻辑门提供理论参考.  相似文献

 讨论了调谐耦合场作用下的Λ型三能级系统中的无反转光放大(AWI)现象,调谐耦合场同时激励两个基态精细结构能级与激发态能级之间的跃迁,使系统同时呈现电磁诱导透明(EIT)和自发诱导相干凹陷两种特性,而且当调节这个耦合场的频率失谐量在某一特定范围时,系统会在EIT信号上叠加出现AWI现象。研究结果表明:该系统中EIT和自发诱导相干凹陷之间存在能量转移现象,当EIT上出现AWI现象时,虽然激发态能级与基态能级之间没有出现粒子数反转,但是两个基态精细结构能级之间出现了粒子数反转。  相似文献

Nonclassicality is an essential but still open question in quantum mechanics. Here, utilizing the maximum value of quantum Fisher information, we suggest a new version of the nonclassical criterion for SU(2) generator realized by two bosonic modes. As an application of the criterion, the system of two coupled nonlinear nanomechanical resonators is considered. And the nonclassicality of the phonon state in the dynamical evolution is explored. The system has a dynamical phase transition from the tunnelling phase to the self-trapping phase by tuning the coupling strength. It is found that for the tunnelling phase, the phonon state is nonclassical in the full time evolution. And for the self-trapping phase, the evolved phonon state is still nonclassical in the full time with a relatively large coupling strength, while it is nonclassical i n the most of time (but not all) with a small coupling strength. Quantum coherence has distinct different behaviors in the two phases.  相似文献

We study the nonreciprocal properties of transmitted photons in a chiral waveguide quantum electrodynamics (QED) system, including single- and two-photon transmissions and second-order correlations. For the single-photon transmission, the nonreciprocity is induced by the effects of chiral coupling and atomic dissipation in the weak coupling region. It vanishes in the strong coupling regime when the effect of atomic dissipation becomes ignorable. In the case of two-photon transmission, there exist two ways of going through the emitter: independently as plane waves and formation of bound state. Besides the nonreciprocal behavior of plane waves, the bound state that differs in two directions also alters transmission probabilities. In addition, the second-order correlation of transmitted photons depends on the interference between plane wave and bound state. The destructive interference leads to the strong antibunching in the weak coupling region, while the effective formation of bound state leads to the strong bunching in the intermediate coupling region. However, the negligible interactions for left-propagating photons hardly change the statistics of the input coherent state.  相似文献

We investigate cluster formation in populations of coupled chaotic model neurons under homogeneous global coupling, and distance-dependent coupling, where the coupling weights between neurons depend on their relative distance. Three types of clusters emerge for global coupling: synchronized cluster, two state cluster and anti-phase cluster. In addition to these, we find a novel three state cluster for distance-dependent coupling, where the population splits into two synchronized groups and one incoherent group. Lastly, we study a system with random inhomogeneous coupling strengths, in order to discern if the special pattern found in distance-dependent coupling arises from the underlying lattice structure or from the inhomogeneity in coupling.  相似文献

We consider a variant of two coupled Van der Pol oscillators with both attractive and repulsive mean-field interactions. In the presence of attractive coupling, the system is in the complete synchrony, while repulsive coupling shows anti-synchronization state leading to suppression of oscillations with increasing interaction strength. The coupled system with both attractive and repulsive interactions shows competitive tendencies of being complete synchronization and anti-synchronization resulting in the stabilization of the fixed point. We have also studied the effect of the damping coefficient of the VdP oscillator on the nature of the transition from oscillatory to a steady-state. These oscillators stabilize to unstable equilibrium point or coupling dependent inhomogeneous steady state via second or first-order transitions respectively depending upon the damping coefficient and coupling strength. These transitions are analyzed in the parameter plane by analytical and numerical studies of the two coupled Van der Pol oscillators.  相似文献

We propose a novel scheme for generating the entanglement of two oscillating mirrors in an optomechanical system via a flying atom. In this scheme, a two-level atom, in an arbitrary superposition state, passes through an optomechanical system with two oscillating cavity-mirrors, and then its states are detected. In this way, we can generate the entangled states of the two oscillating mirrors. We derive the analytical expressions of the entangled states and make numerical calculations. We find that the entanglement of the two oscillating mirrors can be controlled by the initial state of the atom,the optomechanical coupling strength, and the coupling strength between the atom and the cavity field. We investigate the dynamics of the system with dissipations and discuss the experimental feasibility.  相似文献
