In this paper we consider the approximate controllability of a class of degenerate semilinear systems. The equations may be weakly degenerate and strongly degenerate on a portion of the lateral boundary. We prove that the control systems are approximately controllable and the controls can be taken to be of quasi bang-bang form.  相似文献

This paper concerns a class of control systems governed by semilinear degenerate equations with boundary control in one-dimensional space. We study several controllability properties for some semilinear parabolic PDE with a quadratic gradient term. For internal distributed controls, it is shown that the system is approximately and null controllable. The proof relies on the Cole–Hopf transformation. A result on the solvability of the Cauchy problem for a semilinear equation of Sobolev type in a Banach space is obtained with the help of the theory of degenerate operator semigroups. A result concerning the exact controllability of a semilinear thermoelastic system, in which the control term occurs solely in the thermal equation, is derived under the influence of rotational inertia and Lipschitz nonlinearity, subject to the clamped/Dirichlet boundary conditions. This paper deals with the approximate controllability of a semilinear control system with delay, where the nonlinear term satisfies the linear growth condition. Sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability of a semilinear control system have been established by assuming that the corresponding linear control system with delay is approximately controllable. To prove our results, the Schauder fixed point theorem is applied and instead of a Co-semigroup associated with the mild solution of the system we use the so-called fundamental solution.  相似文献

This paper concerns the approximate controllability of the initial-boundary problem of double coupled semilinear degenerate parabolic equations. The equations are degenerate at the boundary, and the control function acts in the interior of the spacial domain and acts only on one equation. We overcome the difficulty of the degeneracy of the equations to show that the problem is approximately controllable in $L^2$ by means of a fixed point theorem and some compact estimates. That is to say, for any initial and desired data in $L^2$, one can find a control function in $L^2$ such that the weak solution to the problem approximately reaches the desired data in $L^2$ at the terminal time.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of a degenerate parabolic equation with a variable, generally non-smooth diffusion coefficient, which may vanish at some points or be unbounded. We show the existence of a global branch of nonnegative stationary states, covering both the cases of a bounded and an unbounded domain. The global bifurcation of stationary states, implies-in conjuction with the definition of a gradient dynamical system in the natural phase space-that at least in the case of a bounded domain, any solution with nonnegative initial data tends to the trivial or the nonnegative equilibrium. In this paper, an optimal control problem governed by semilinear parabolic equation which involves the control variable acting on forcing term and coefficients appearing in the higher order derivative terms is formulated and analyzed. The strong variation method, due originally to Mayne et al to solve the optimal control problem of a lumped parameter system, is extended to solve an optimal control problem governed by semilinear parabolic equation, a necessary condition is obtained, the strong variation algorithm for this optimal control problem is presented, and the corresponding convergence result of the algorithm is verified.  相似文献

We consider a cascade system of two conservative equations and prove the controllability of the full system when each equation is controllable, provided that the unitary group corresponding to the free evolution is time-periodic. Applications to systems of Schrödinger (resp. wave) equations are given. A semilinear partial differential equation of hyperbolic type with a convolution term describing simple viscoelastic materials with fading memory is considered. Regarding the past history (memory) of the displacement as a new variable, the equation is transformed into a dynamical system in a suitable Hilbert space. The dissipation is extremely weak, and it is all contained in the memory term. Longtime behavior of solutions is analyzed. In particular, in the autonomous case, the existence of a global attractor for solutions is achieved.  相似文献
