Degree of approximation to function of bounded variation by Bézier variant of MKZ operators

Guo (Approx. Theory Appl. 4 (1988) 9-18) introduced the integral modification of Meyer-Konig and Zeller operators and studied the rate of convergence for functions of bounded variation. In this paper we introduce the Bézier variant of these integrated MKZ operators and study the rate of convergence by means of the decomposition technique of functions of bounded variation together with some results of probability theory and the exact bound of MKZ basis functions. Recently, Zeng (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 219 (1998) 364-376) claimed to improve the results of Guo and Gupta (Approx. Theory Appl. 11 (1995) 106-107), but there is a major mistake in the paper of Zeng. For special case our main theorem gives the correct estimate on the rate of convergence, over the result of Zeng.

A full-Newton step non-interior continuation algorithm for a class of complementarity problems

In this paper, we investigate a class of nonlinear complementarity problems arising from the discretization of the free boundary problem, which was recently studied by Sun and Zeng [Z. Sun, J. Zeng, A monotone semismooth Newton type method for a class of complementarity problems, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 235 (5) (2011) 1261–1274]. We propose a new non-interior continuation algorithm for solving this class of problems, where the full-Newton step is used in each iteration. We show that the algorithm is globally convergent, where the iteration sequence of the variable converges monotonically. We also prove that the algorithm is globally linearly and locally superlinearly convergent without any additional assumption, and locally quadratically convergent under suitable assumptions. The preliminary numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

非扩张映象有限族的公共不动点的隐式迭代方法

本文在实一致凸和q一致光滑Banach空间中研究了一类新的有限族非扩张映象的公共不动点的具误差和具扰动映射的隐式迭代程序并且得到了一些收敛性定理.特别地,获得了该隐式迭代程序强收敛性的充要条件.本文所得结论推广了文[1,2]中的相应结果.     

Perturbed three-step iterative processes with errors for general strongly nonlinear quasivariational inequalities

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of general strongly nonlinear quasivariational inequalities in Hilbert spaces. We prove the existence and uniqueness of solution and convergence of the perturbed the three-step iterative sequences with errors for this kind of general strongly nonlinear quasivariational inquality problems involving relaxed Lipschitz, relaxed monotone, and strongly monotone mappings. Our results extend, improve, and unify many known results due to Liu-Ume-Kang, Kim-Kyung, Zeng and others.

利用值分布理论,研究了一类Fermat型复微分-差分方程与复微分-差分方程组,得到有限级超越整函数解的存在条件与具体形式,推广改进了高凌云、刘凯、曾翠萍等人的结果.
