Cluster Tilted Algebras with a Cyclically Oriented Quiver

In association with a finite dimensional algebra A of global dimension two, we consider the endomorphism algebra of A, viewed as an object in the triangulated hull of the orbit category of the bounded derived category, in the sense of Amiot. We characterize the algebras A of global dimension two such that its endomorphism algebra is isomorphic to a cluster-tilted algebra with a cyclically oriented quiver. Furthermore, in the case that the cluster tilted algebra with a cyclically oriented quiver is of Dynkin or extended Dynkin type then A is derived equivalent to a hereditary algebra of the same type.     

Desingularization of quiver Grassmannians for Dynkin quivers

A desingularization of arbitrary quiver Grassmannians for representations of Dynkin quivers is constructed in terms of quiver Grassmannians for an algebra derived equivalent to the Auslander algebra of the quiver.     

(Quasi-)Poisson enveloping algebras

We introduce the quasi-Poisson enveloping algebra and Poisson enveloping algebra for a non-commutative Poisson algebra. We prove that for a non-commutative Poisson algebra, the category of quasi-Poisson modules is equivalent to the category of left modules over its quasi-Poisson enveloping algebra, and the category of Poisson modules is equivalent to the category of left modules over its Poisson enveloping algebra.

本文给出了有关同调光滑连通上链微分分次(简称DG)代数的两个重要结论.具体地说,当A是同调光滑连通上链DG代数且其同调分次代数H(A)是诺特分次代数时,证明D_(fg)(A)中的任意Koszul DG A-模都是紧致的.另外,当A是Kozul连通上链DG代数且其同调分次代数H(A)是有平衡对偶复形的诺特分次代数时,证明A的同调光滑性质等价于D_(fg)(A)=D~c(A).     

Deformations of Quadratic Algebras with Antisymmetric Relations

A finitely generated quadratic algebra with antisymmetric generating relations is called a weakly symmetric algebra. The automorphism group and Calabi–Yau property of a Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt (PBW)-deformation of a weakly symmetric algebra are discussed. It is shown that the Calabi–Yau property of a PBW-deformation of a weakly symmetric algebra is equivalent to that of the corresponding augmented PBW-deformation under some mild conditions.     

Uniform Mal’cev algebras with small congruence lattices

A congruence of an algebra is called uniform if all the congruence classes are of the same size. An algebra is called uniform if each of its congruences is uniform. All algebras with a group reduct have this property. We prove that almost every finite uniform Mal’cev algebra with a congruence lattice of height at most two is polynomially equivalent to an expanded group.

Generalised Chain Conditions,Prime Ideals,and Classes of Locally Finite Lie Algebras

A Noetherian (Artinian) Lie algebra satisfies the maximal (minimal) condition for ideals.Generalisations include quasi-Noetherian and quasi-Artinian Lie algebras.We study conditions on prime ideals relating these properties.We prove that the radicalof any ideal of a quasi-Artinian Lie algebra is the intersection of finitely many prime ideals,and an ideally finite Lie algebra is quasi-Noetherian if and only if it is qussi-Artinian.Both properties are equivalent to soluble-by-finite.We also prove a structure theorem for serially finite Artinian Lie algebras.

A proof of the Pfister Factor Conjecture

It is shown that any split product of quaternion algebras with orthogonal involution is adjoint to a Pfister form. This settles the Pfister Factor Conjecture formulated by D.B. Shapiro. A more general problem on decomposability for algebras with involution is posed and solved in the case where the algebra is equivalent to a quaternion algebra.

Primitive idempotents in central simple algebras over Fq(t) with an application to coding theory

We consider the algorithmic problem of computing a primitive idempotent of a central simple algebra over the field of rational functions over a finite field. The algebra is given by a set of structure constants. The problem is reduced to the computation of a division algebra Brauer equivalent to the central simple algebra. This division algebra is constructed as a cyclic algebra, once the Hasse invariants have been computed. We give an application to skew constacyclic convolutional codes.     

The Fermion Model of Representations of Affine Krichever–Novikov Algebras

To a generic holomorphic vector bundle on an algebraic curve and an irreducible finite-dimensional representation of a semisimple Lie algebra, we assign a representation of the corresponding affine Krichever–Novikov algebra in the space of semi-infinite exterior forms. It is shown that equivalent pairs of data give rise to equivalent representations and vice versa.     

Stability of representations of effective partial algebras

An algebra is effective if its operations are computable under some numbering. When are two numberings of an effective partial algebra equivalent? For example, the computable real numbers form an effective field and two effective numberings of the field of computable reals are equivalent if the limit operator is assumed to be computable in the numberings (theorems of Moschovakis and Hertling). To answer the question for effective algebras in general, we give a general method based on an algebraic analysis of approximations by elements of a finitely generated subalgebra. Commonly, the computable elements of a topological partial algebra are derived from such a finitely generated algebra and form a countable effective partial algebra. We apply the general results about partial algebras to the recursive reals, ultrametric algebras constructed by inverse limits, and to metric algebras in general. © 2011 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Affine varieties and lie algebras of vector fields

In this article, we associate to affine algebraic or local analytic varieties their tangent algebra. This is the Lie algebra of all vector fields on the ambient space which are tangent to the variety. Properties of the relation between varieties and tangent algebras are studied. Being the tangent algebra of some variety is shown to be equivalent to a purely Lie algebra theoretic property of subalgebras of the Lie algebra of all vector fields on the ambient space. This allows to prove that the isomorphism type of the variety is determinde by its tangent algebra.     

PBW deformations of quadratic monomial algebras

A result of Braverman and Gaitsgory from 1996 gives necessary and sufficient conditions for a filtered algebra to be a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt (PBW) deformation of a Koszul algebra. The main theorem in this paper establishes conditions equivalent to the Braverman-Gaitsgory Theorem to efficiently determine PBW deformations of quadratic monomial algebras. In particular, a graphical interpretation is presented for this result, and we discuss circumstances under which some of the conditions of this theorem need not be checked. Several examples are also provided. Finally, with these tools, we show that each quadratic monomial algebra admits a nontrivial PBW deformation.     

Characterization of finite dimensionality for semi-simple Banach algebras

Some conditions which are equivalent to finite dimensionality for a semi-simple Banach algebra A are given, and simplification of the proofs of previously known results are included. These conditions include local finiteness, spectral finiteness and the condition that socle A exists and is equal to A.

2-Supernilpotent Mal’cev algebras

In this note we prove that a Mal’cev algebra is 2-supernilpotent ([1, 1, 1] =  0) if and only if it is polynomially equivalent to a special expanded group. This generalizes Gumm’s result that a Mal’cev algebra is abelian if and only if it is polynomially equivalent to a module over a ring.
