Kinetic Ising model in a time-dependent oscillating external magnetic field: effective-field theory 下载免费PDF全文
Recently,Shi et al.[2008 Phys.Lett.A 372 5922] have studied the dynamical response of the kinetic Ising model in the presence of a sinusoidal oscillating field and presented the dynamic phase diagrams by using an effective-field theory(EFT) and a mean-field theory(MFT).The MFT results are in conflict with those of the earlier work of Tom’e and de Oliveira,[1990 Phys.Rev.A 41 4251].We calculate the dynamic phase diagrams and find that our results are similar to those of the earlier work of Tom’e and de Oliveira;hence the dynamic phase diagrams calculated by Shi et al.are incomplete within both theories,except the low values of frequencies for the MFT calculation.We also investigate the influence of external field frequency(ω) and static external field amplitude(h0) for both MFT and EFT calculations.We find that the behaviour of the system strongly depends on the values of ω and h0. 相似文献

A Hauser-Ernst-type extended hyperbolic complex linear system given in our previous paper [Gao Y J 2004 Chin. Phys. 13 602] is slightly modified and used to develop a new inverse scattering method for the stationary axisymmetric Einstein-Maxwell theory with multiple Abelian gauge fields. The reduction procedures in this inverse scattering method are found to be fairly simple, which makes the inverse scattering method be fine and effective in practical application. As an example, a concrete family of soliton solutions for the considered theory is obtained. 相似文献

An elastic Ising model for a one-dimensional diatomic spin chain is
proposed to explain the ferroelectricity induced by the collinear
magnetic order with a low-excited energy state. A statistical theory
based on this model is developed to calculate the electrical and
magnetic properties of Ca3CoMnO6, a typical
quasi-one-dimensional diatomic spin chain system. The calculated
ferroelectric polarization and dielectric susceptibility show a good
agreement with recently reported data on Ca3Co2-xMnxO6 (x ≈0.96) (Phys. Rev. Lett. 100 047601 (2008)), although the predicted magnetic susceptibility
does not coincide well with experiment. We also address the
rationality and deficiency of this model by including a first-order
correction which improves the consistency between the model and

Following the theoretical protocol described by Fortescue and Lo [Fortescue B and Lo H K 2007 Phys. Rev. Lett. 98 2605011, we present a scheme in which one can distill maximally entangled bi-partite states from a tri-partite W state with cavity QED. Our scheme enables the concrete physical system to realize its protocol. In our scheme, the rate distillation also asymptotically approaches one. Based on the present cavity QED techniques, we discuss the experimental feasibility. 相似文献

We investigate the pairwise entanglement and global entanglement in a
generalized Jaynes--Cummings model, which can be used to realize
Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger (GHZ) entangled state (Zheng S B 2001
{\it Phys. Rev. Lett.} {\bf 87} 230404). Our results show that the
W-type entangled states cannot be generated based on the model. The
dependences of entanglement on Rabi frequency $\lambda$ and
dipole--dipole coupling strength ${\it \Omega}$ are given. It is
found that there exists the quantum phase transition when
$\lambda={\it \Omega}$. For typical experimental data, the critical
temperature for pairwise entanglement is on the order of
$10^{-6}$\,K. Based on these results, two strategies that overcome

Application of the first junction condition to a highly symmetric
spacetime was investigated recently in {\it Chin. Phys. Lett.} B {\bf
546} 189 2006, where a partial differential equation arising from the
connection of the Robertson--Walker and the Schwarzschild--de Sitter
metrics was presented, but no solutions of the equation were
provided. Here we provide a proof to the statement that there exist
solutions of the equation. In addition, an example of the solution
and some analyses associated with this issue are presented. We find
that in connecting the two metrics, there are three conditions which
should be satisfied. Of these conditions, one condition constrains
the place where the two metrics can take the same value for a local
system whose mass is provided which marks the boundary of the system,
and the other two constrain the transformation form. In realizing the
connection of the two metrics, the latter two conditions are required
to be satisfied only at the boundary defined by the former condition. 相似文献

This paper is a further work of the authors' paper published previously (Liao T H and Gao Q 2005 Chin. Phys. Lett. 22 2316). The amplitudes of fractional Fourier transform of Cantor sets are analysed from the viewpoint of multifractal by wavelet transform maxima method (WTMM). An integral operation is carried out before the application of WTMM, such that the function obtained can be considered as the perturbed devil staircase. Also, wavelets with large number of vanishing moments are used, which makes the complete singularity spectrum more accessible. The validity of multifractal formalism is guaranteed by restricting parameter q to a proper range, so that the phenomenon of multifractal phase transition can be explained reasonably. Particularly, the method of determining the range of parameter q in the above paper is developed to be more operational and rigorous. 相似文献

The dynamics of coupled Lorenz circuits is investigated experimentally. The partial
amplitude death reported in {\em Phys. Rev.} E {\bf 72}, 057201 (2005) is verified
by physical experiments with electronic circuits. With the increase of coupling
constant, the coupled circuits undergo the transition from the breakdown of both the
reflection symmetry and the translational symmetry to the partial amplitude death.
Its stability is also confirmed by analysing the effects of noise. 相似文献

We give some details about the periodic cylindrical solution found by Zhang and Ou-Yang in [1996 Phys.Rev.E 53 4206] for the general shape equation of vesicle.Three different kinds of periodic cylindrical surfaces and a special closed cylindrical surface are obtained.Using the elliptic functions contained in mathematic,we find that this periodic shape has the minimal total energy for one period when the period-amplitude ratio β 1.477,and point out that it is a discontinuous deformation between plane and this periodic shape.Our results also are suitable for DNA and multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWNTs). 相似文献

In a recent XUV photoabsorption spectrum of Cs Ⅲ ions by Cummings and O'Sullivan [2001 J. Phys. B 34 199], rather large linewidths were found for the 4d^95s^25p^6 - 4d^105s^25p^5 transition which are quite in disagreement with corresponding quasi-relativistic multiconfiguration Hartree Fock (MCHF) calculation. In the present work, a detailed multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock study has been carried out to explore this discrepancy. Owing to the detailed consideration of electron correlation effects, some ‘forbidden' Auger decay channels, such as 4d^105s^25p^35d and 4d^105s^05p^6, would become ‘open'. As a result, remarkable improvement of the linewidths has been obtained in our calculation. Furthermore, the theoretical Auger spectrum of the 4d^ 95s^25p^6 core-excited states of Cs Ⅲ ions is Riven in the present work. 相似文献

Numerical Simulation for thermohaline multiple equilibrant system in non—rectangular domains 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, incompressible, double-diffusive convection is simulated
using finite-difference schemes. The Navier--Stokes equations are
expressed in terms of stream function and vorticity. Because of
the existence of large velocity, temperature and salinity gradients
in boundary layers, a boundary-fitted coordinate system is used
to concentrate the grid points near the wall and fit complex
boundaries. The finite-difference methods used include the high-order
accurate upwind difference scheme. It is
shown that the scheme is a good candidate for direct simulations of
double-diffusive convection flows. The proposed method is first
applied to symmetry breaking and overturning states in
thermohaline-driven flows in trapezoid basins. The basic phenomena
agree well with those by Dijkstra and Molemaker (1997 {\em J. Fluid
Mech.} {\bf 331} 169)
and Quon and Ghil (1992 {\em J. Fluid Mech.} {\bf 245} 449), but symmetry breaking and
overturning states can occur in an asymmetric geometrical region
without perturbations. Then the method is applied to double-diffusive
convections in a cavity with opposing horizontal temperature and
concentration gradients at large thermal ($Rt$), solutal ($Rs$)
Rayleigh numbers and Lewis number. There are three straight sides
and a sine curve side in the cavity. Basically, numerical results
are in agreement with those of Lee and Hyun (1990 {\em Int. J. Heat
Mass Transfer} {\bf 33} 1619) qualitatively, but eddies mixing in the
top left-hand corner near the curved wall affects the layered structure. 相似文献

Evolution of periodic waves and solitary waves in Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) with time-dependent atomic scattering length in an expulsive parabolic potential is studied. Agrawal {\em et al}. have introduced a kind of W-class state which
can be used for the quantum teleportation of single-particle state
via a three-particle von Neumann measurement, and they thought that
the state could not be used to teleport an unknown state by making
two-particle and one-particle measurements. Here we reconsider the
features of the W-class state and the quantum teleportation process
via the W-class state. We show that, by introducing a unitary
operation, the quantum teleportation can be achieved
deterministically by making two-particle and one-particle
measurements. In addition, our protocol is extended to the process

The security of the quantum secure deterministic communication
scheme [{\it Chin. Phys.} {\bf16} (2007) 2549] is reexamined. A
security loophole is pointed out. Taking advantage of this loophole,
an eavesdropper can steal all the secret messages without being
detected by an intercept-and-resend attack strategy. Furthermore, a
possible improvement on this protocol is presented. It makes the

Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger states using two identical bimodal
cavities, each supports two modes with different frequencies. This
scheme is an alternative to another published work [Christopher C

them are discussed. The fidelity and the probability of success

Magnetic field induced phase branches of the superconducting transition in two-dimensional square π-loop arrays 下载免费PDF全文
Based on the results of explicit forms of free energy density for each possible arrangement of magnetization fluxes in large-scale two-dimensional (2D) square π-loop arrays given by Li et al [2007 Chin. Phys. 16 1450], the field-cooled superconducting phase transition is further investigated by analysing the free energy of the arrays with a simplified symmetrical model. Our analytical result is exactly the same as that obtained in Li's paper by means of numerical calculations. It is shown that the phase transition splits into two branches with either ferromagnetic or anti-ferromagnetic flux ordering, which depends periodically on the strength of external magnetic flux φe through each loop and monotonically on the screen parameter β of the loops in the arrays. In principle, the diagram of the phase branches is similar to that of its one-dimensional counterpart. The influence of thermal fluctuation on the flux ordering during the transition from normal to superconducting states of the π-loop arrays is also discussed. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider the entanglement dynamics of a four-qubit model [2006 Phys. Rev. A 74 042328] where two entangled qubits a and b locally interact with separate qubits A and B via the spin-exchange-like Hamiltonian. We study the effect of purity of initial entangled state of qubits a, b on the entanglement evolution and its relation with energy transfer. Also, we find that the total bipartite entanglement of qubits a, b plus A, B is not a constant any longer when the initial entangled state of a, b is not pure, which is a complement to the result in the paper [2007 J.
