This paper is concerned with the problem of μ‐stability of impulsive differential systems with unbounded time‐varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Some μ‐stability criteria, which depend on the range of distributed delay and the decay rate of discrete delay (not the range), are derived by using Lyapunov–Krasovski functional method. Those criteria are expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities and they can easily be checked. Two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results. A mathematical model of a single isolated artificial neuron with hysterisis is formulated by means of a neutral delay differential equation. The asymptotic and exponential stability of such a model are investigated. Sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of a linear integral difference inequality are obtained. In the absence of hysterisis effect, our model reduces to a known model of a single neuron. Usually asymptotic stability of neutral delay differential equations is studied by means of degenerate Lyapunov–Kravsovskii functionals. In this article, perhaps for the first time exponential stability of a class of neutral differential equations are studied by means of the exponential stability of an affiliated difference inequality. While generalization to Hopfield type hysteretic neural networks is possible, such a generalization is not considered in this article.  相似文献

This article presents an adaptive sliding mode control (SMC) scheme for the stabilization problem of uncertain time‐delay chaotic systems with input dead‐zone nonlinearity. The algorithm is based on SMC, adaptive control, and linear matrix inequality technique. Using Lyapunov stability theorem, the proposed control scheme guarantees the stability of overall closed‐loop uncertain time‐delay chaotic system with input dead‐zone nonlinearity. It is shown that the state trajectories converge to zero asymptotically in the presence of input dead‐zone nonlinearity, time‐delays, nonlinear real‐valued functions, parameter uncertainties, and external disturbances simultaneously. The selection of sliding surface and the design of control law are two important issues, which have been addressed. Moreover, the knowledge of upper bound of uncertainties is not required. The reaching phase and chattering phenomenon are eliminated. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed scheme. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, an eco‐epidemiological model with Holling type‐III functional response and a time delay representing the gestation period of the predators is investigated. In the model, it is assumed that the predator population suffers a transmissible disease. The disease basic reproduction number is obtained. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of each of feasible equilibria and the existence of Hopf bifurcations at the disease‐free equilibrium and the endemic‐coexistence equilibrium are established, respectively. By using the persistence theory on infinite dimensional systems, it is proved that if the disease basic reproduction number is greater than unity, the system is permanent. By means of Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle's invariance principle, sufficient conditions are obtained for the global stability of the endemic‐coexistence equilibrium, the disease‐free equilibrium and the predator‐extinction equilibrium of the system, respectively. In this article, we study the problem of robust H performance analysis for a class of uncertain Markovian jump systems with mixed overlapping delays. Our aim is to present a new delay‐dependent approach such that the resulting closed‐loop system is stochastically stable and satisfies a prescribed H performance level χ. The jumping parameters are modeled as a continuous‐time, finite‐state Markov chain. By constructing new Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals, some novel sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the stochastic stability of the equilibrium point in the mean‐square. Numerical examples show that the obtained results in this article is less conservative and more effective. The results are also compared with the existing results to show its conservativeness. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 460–477, 2016  相似文献

This paper is devoted to a reaction-diffusion system for a SIR epidemic model with time delay and incidence rate. Firstly, the nonnegativity and boundedness of solutions determined by nonnegative initial values are obtained. Secondly, the existence and local stability of the disease-free equilibrium as well as the endemic equilibrium are investigated by analyzing the characteristic equations. Finally, the global asymptotical stability are obtained via Lyapunov functionals.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the exponential stability for the discrete‐time bidirectional associative memory neural networks with time‐varying delays. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, some novel delay‐dependent sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the globally exponential stability of the addressed neural networks. In order to obtain less conservative results, an improved Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is constructed and the reciprocally convex approach and free‐weighting matrix method are employed to give the upper bound of the difference of the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. Several numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the problem of state observer for complex large‐scale systems with unknown time‐varying delayed interactions. The class of large‐scale interconnected systems under consideration is subjected to interval time‐varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. By introducing a set of argumented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and using a new bounding estimation technique, novel delay‐dependent conditions for existence of state observers with guaranteed exponential stability are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In our design approach, the set of full‐order Luenberger‐type state observers are systematically derived via the use of an efficient LMI‐based algorithm. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the result. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 123–133, 2015  相似文献

This study examines finite‐time synchronization for a class of N‐coupled complex partial differential systems (PDSs) with time‐varying delay. The problem of finite‐time synchronization for coupled drive‐response PDSs with time‐varying delay is similarly considered. The synchronization error dynamic of the PDSs is defined in the q‐dimensional spatial domain. We construct a feedback controller to achieve finite‐time synchronization. Sufficient conditions are derived by using the Lyapunov‐Krasoviskii stability approach and inequalities technology to ensure that the proposed networks achieve synchronization in finite time. The proposed systems demonstrate extensive application. Finally, an example is used to verify the theoretical results.  相似文献

This article deals with the problem of robust stochastic asymptotic stability for a class of uncertain stochastic neural networks with distributed delay and multiple time‐varying delays. It is noted that the reciprocally convex approach has been intensively used in stability analysis for time‐delay systems in the past few years. We will extend the approach from deterministic time‐delay systems to stochastic time‐delay systems. And based on the new technique dealing with matrix cross‐product and multiple‐interval‐dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some novel delay‐dependent stability criteria with less conservatism and less decision variables for the addressed system are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. At last, several numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the results. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 147–162, 2015  相似文献

This paper considers the problems of the robust stability analysis and H controller synthesis for uncertain discrete‐time switched systems with interval time‐varying delay and nonlinear disturbances. Based on the system transformation and by introducing a switched Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional, the novel sufficient conditions, which guarantee that the uncertain discrete‐time switched system is robust asymptotically stable are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Then, the robust H control synthesis via switched state feedback is studied for a class of discrete‐time switched systems with uncertainties and nonlinear disturbances. We designed a switched state feedback controller to stabilize asymptotically discrete‐time switched systems with interval time‐varying delay and H disturbance attenuation level based on matrix inequality conditions. Examples are provided to illustrate the advantage and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this work, we consider a new approach to the practical stability theory of impulsive functional differential equations. With Lyapunov functionals and Razumikhin technique, we use a new technique in the division of Lyapunov functions, given by Shunian Zhang, and obtain conditions sufficient for the uniform practical (asymptotical) stability of impulsive delay differential equations. An example is also discussed to illustrate the advantage of the proposed results.  相似文献

Direct cell‐to‐cell transmission of HIV‐1 is a more efficient means of virus infection than virus‐to‐cell transmission. In this paper, we incorporate both these transmissions into an HIV‐1 virus model with nonlinear general incidence rate, intracellular delay, and cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) immune responses. This model admits three types of equilibria: infection‐free equilibrium, CTL‐inactivated equilibrium, and CTL‐activated equilibrium. By using Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle invariance principle, it is verified that global threshold dynamics of the model can be explicitly described by the basic reproduction numbers.  相似文献

In this article, an exponential stability analysis of Markovian jumping stochastic bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with mode‐dependent probabilistic time‐varying delays and impulsive control is investigated. By establishment of a stochastic variable with Bernoulli distribution, the information of probabilistic time‐varying delay is considered and transformed into one with deterministic time‐varying delay and stochastic parameters. By fully taking the inherent characteristic of such kind of stochastic BAM neural networks into account, a novel Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional is constructed with as many as possible positive definite matrices which depends on the system mode and a triple‐integral term is introduced for deriving the delay‐dependent stability conditions. Furthermore, mode‐dependent mean square exponential stability criteria are derived by constructing a new Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional with modes in the integral terms and using some stochastic analysis techniques. The criteria are formulated in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities, which can be checked efficiently by use of some standard numerical packages. Finally, numerical examples and its simulations are given to demonstrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed results. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 20: 39–65, 2015  相似文献

This article deals with the problem of synchronization of fractional‐order memristor‐based BAM neural networks (FMBNNs) with time‐delay. We investigate the sufficient conditions for adaptive synchronization of FMBNNs with fractional‐order 0 < α < 1. The analysis is based on suitable Lyapunov functional, differential inclusions theory, and master‐slave synchronization setup. We extend the analysis to provide some useful criteria to ensure the finite‐time synchronization of FMBNNs with fractional‐order 1 < α < 2, using Mittag‐Leffler functions, Laplace transform, and linear feedback control techniques. Numerical simulations with two numerical examples are given to validate our theoretical results. Presence of time‐delay and fractional‐order in the model shows interesting dynamics. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 412–426, 2016  相似文献

This article presents the robust dissipativity and passivity analysis of neutral‐type neural networks with leakage time‐varying delay via delay decomposition approach. Using delay decomposition technique, new delay‐dependent criteria ensuring the considered system to be ‐γ dissipative are established in terms of strict linear matrix inequalities. A new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is constructed by dividing the discrete and neutral delay intervals into m and l segments, respectively, and choosing different Lyapunov functionals to different segments. Further, the dissipativity behaviors of neural networks which are affected due to the sensitiveness of the time delay in the leakage term have been taken into account. Finally, numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 248–264, 2016  相似文献

This paper address the asymptotical stability of neutral systems with nonlinear perturbations. Some novel delay-dependent asymptotical stability criteria are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The resulting delay-dependent stability criteria are less conservative than the previous ones, owing to the introduction of free-weighting matrices, based on a class of novel augment Lyapunov functionals. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate that the derived conditions are much less conservative than those given in the literature.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the exponential stabilization and L2‐gain for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems with interval time‐varying delay. Based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, novel delay‐dependent sufficient conditions of exponential stabilization for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delay systems are developed under an average dwell time scheme. Then, novel criteria to ensure the exponential stabilization with weighted L2‐gain performance for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delay systems are established. Furthermore, an effective method is proposed for the designing of a stabilizing feedback controller with L2‐gain performance. Finally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
