The aim of this paper is to investigate the existence of iterative solutions for a class of 2nth-order nonlinear multi-point boundary value problems. The multi-point boundary condition under consideration includes various commonly discussed boundary conditions, such as three- or four-point boundary condition, (n + 2)-point boundary condition and 2(n − m)-point boundary condition. The existence problem is based on the method of upper and lower solutions and its associated monotone iterative technique. A monotone iteration is developed so that the iterative sequence converges monotonically to a maximal solution or a minimal solution, depending on whether the initial iteration is an upper solution or a lower solution. Two examples are presented to illustrate the results.  相似文献

We consider a model equations describing the coagulation process of a gas on a surface. The problem is modeled by two coupled equations. The first one is a nonlinear transport equation with bilinear coagulation operator while the second one is a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. The velocity and the boundary condition of the transport equation depend on the supersaturation function satisfying the nonlinear ode. We first prove global existence and uniqueness of solution to the nonlinear transport equation then, we consider the coupled problem and prove existence in the large of solutions to the full coagulation system.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider two-components nonlinear Schrödinger equations in the super critical case. We establish a necessary condition and a sufficient condition of global existence of the solution for two-components nonlinear Schrödinger equations. This article mainly investigates the existence of global strong solution of a class of fully nonlinear evolution equation and the strong solution of its steady-state equation. By using the T-compulsorily weakly continuous operator theory, the existence of the global strong solution of the fully nonlinear evolution equation is obtained. We consider a semilinear parabolic equation subject to a nonlinear dynamical boundary condition that is related to the so-called Wentzell boundary condition. First we prove the existence and uniqueness of global solutions as well as the existence of a global attractor. Then we derive a suitable ?ojasiewicz-Simon type inequality to show the convergence of global solutions to single steady states as time tends to infinity under the assumption that the nonlinear terms f,g are real analytic. In this paper, we study the global existence and the global nonexistence of doubly nonlinear degenerate parabolic systems with nonlinear boundary conditions. We first prove a local existence result by the regularization method. Next, we construct a weak comparison principle. Then we discuss the large time behavior of solutions by using a modified upper and lower solution methods and constructing various upper and lower solutions. Necessary and sufficient conditions on the global existence of all positive (weak) solutions are obtained.  相似文献

We consider a class of nonlinear integro-differential equations involving a fractional power of the Laplacian and a nonlocal quadratic nonlinearity represented by a singular integral operator. Initially, we introduce cut-off versions of this equation, replacing the singular operator by its Lipschitz continuous regularizations. In both cases we show the local existence and global uniqueness in L1Lp. Then we associate with each regularized equation a stable-process-driven nonlinear diffusion; the law of this nonlinear diffusion has a density which is a global solution in L1 of the cut-off equation. In the next step we remove the cut-off and show that the above densities converge in a certain space to a solution of the singular equation. In the general case, the result is local, but under a more stringent balance condition relating the dimension, the power of the fractional Laplacian and the degree of the singularity, it is global and gives global existence for the original singular equation. Finally, we associate with the singular equation a nonlinear singular diffusion and prove propagation of chaos to the law of this diffusion for the related cut-off interacting particle systems. Depending on the nature of the singularity in the drift term, we obtain either a strong pathwise result or a weak convergence result. Based on the nonlinear impulsive system of fed-batch fermentation, which is used in the process of bio-dissimilation of glycerol to 1,3-propanediol by Klebsiella pneumoniae, this paper is concerned with the optimal control of the volumes of infused glycerol at impulsive moments. The optimal control model is developed. The authors study the properties of both the nonlinear impulsive system and the solution of it, and ascertain the existence of the optimal control. Then the optimality condition is obtained, which can be used as a necessary condition that the optimal control should satisfy.  相似文献

Similar to the problem of linearization, the “small divisor problem” also arises in the discussion of invertible analytic solutions of a class of q-difference equations. In this paper we give the existence of such solutions under the Brjuno condition and prove that the equation may not have a nontrivial analytic solution when the Brjuno condition is violated. The paper concerns with the existence, uniqueness and nonexistence of global solution to the Cauchy problem for a class of nonlinear wave equations with damping term. It proves that under suitable assumptions on nonlinear the function and initial data the above-mentioned problem admits a unique global solution by Fourier transform method.
