Generalized B-vex functions and generalized B-vex programming   总被引:21,自引:0,他引:21  
A class of functions called pseudo B-vex and quasi B-vex functions is introduced by relaxing the definitions of B-vex, pseudoconvex, and quasiconvex functions. Similarly, the class of B-invex, pseudo B-invex, and quasi B-invex functions is defined as a generalization of B-vex, pseudo B-vex, and quasi B-vex functions. The sufficient optimality conditions and duality results are obtained for a nonlinear programming problem involving B-vex and B-invex functions.The first author is thankful to the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada for financial support through Grant A-5319. 在半连续前提下,给出凸函数和严格凸函数的不等式刻划.指出非空凸集上的半连续函数满足中间点凸性时,成为凸函数,满足中间点严格凸性时,成为严格凸函数.最后定义F—G广义凸函数和条件p1,p2等概念,列举若干满足条件p1,p2的数量函数和向量函数,并指出,对于F—G广义凸函数,在条件p1,p2及一定连续性条件下,可以得到类似结果.  相似文献

In this paper the Dirichlet problem for pluriholomorphic functions of two complex variables is investigated. The key point is the relation between pluriholomorphic functions and pluriharmonic functions. The link is constituted by the Fueter-regular functions of one quaternionic variable. Previous results about the boundary values of pluriharmonic functions and new results on L2 traces of regular functions are applied to obtain a characterization of the traces of pluriholomorphic functions.  相似文献

A method is given for deriving indefinite integrals involving squares and other products of functions which are solutions of second-order linear differential equations. Several variations of the method are presented, which applies directly to functions which obey homogeneous differential equations. However, functions which obey inhomogeneous equations can be incorporated into the products and examples are given of integrals involving products of Bessel functions combined with Lommel, Anger and Weber functions. Many new integrals are derived for a selection of special functions, including Bessel functions, associated Legendre functions, and elliptic integrals. A number of integrals of products of Gauss hypergeometric functions are also presented, which seem to be the first integrals of this type. All results presented have been numerically checked with Mathematica.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is two-fold. First, to give a direct proof for the already established result of Styer which states that a univalent geometrically starlike function is a univalent annular starlike function if is bounded. Second, to show that the boundedness condition of is necessary, thus disproving a conjecture of Styer.

Estimates on the initial coefficients are obtained for normalized analytic functions f in the open unit disk with f and its inverse g=f−1 satisfying the conditions that zf(z)/f(z) and zg(z)/g(z) are both subordinate to a univalent function whose range is symmetric with respect to the real axis. This paper is motivated by an open problem of Luke’s theorem. We consider the problem of developing a unified point of view on the theory of inequalities of Humbert functions and of their general ratios are obtained. In this note, a class of functions, called semi-B-preinvex function, which are a generalization of the semipreinvex functions and the B-vex functions, is introduced. Examples are given to show that there exist functions which are semi-B-preinvex functions, but are neither semipreinvex nor B-vex. A coterie, which is used to realize mutual exclusion in distributed systems, is a family C of subsets such that any pair of subsets in C has at least one element in common, and such that no subset in C contains any other subset in C. Associate with a family of subsets C a positive Boolean function fc such that fc(x) = 1 if the Boolean vector x is equal to or greater than the characteristic vector of some subset in C, and 0 otherwise. It is known that C is a coterie if and only if fc is dual-minor, and is a non-dominated (ND) coterie if and only if fc is self-dual. We study in this paper the decomposition of a positive self-dual function into smaller positive self-dual functions, as it explains how to represent and how to construct the corresponding ND coterie. A key step is how to decompose a positive dual-minor function f into a conjunction of positive self-dual functions f1,f2,…, fk. In addition to the general condition for this decomposition, we clarify the condition for the decomposition into two functions f1, and f2, and introduce the concept of canonical decomposition. Then we present an algorithm that determines a minimal canonical decomposition, and a very simple algorithm that usually gives a decomposition close to minimal. The decomposition of a general self-dual function is also discussed.  相似文献

Gap functions play a crucial role in transforming a variational inequality problem into an optimization problem. Then, methods solving an optimization problem can be exploited for finding a solution of a variational inequality problem. It is known that the so-called prevariational inequality is closely related to some generalized convex functions, such as linear fractional functions. In this paper, gap functions for several kinds of prevariational inequalities are investigated. More specifically, prevariational inequalities, extended prevariational inequalities, and extended weak vector prevariational inequalities are considered. Furthermore, a class of gap functions for inequality constrained prevariational inequalities is investigated via a nonlinear Lagrangian.  相似文献

As it is known, Roumieu-Komatsu theory of ultradistributions is strictly larger than Beurling-Björck one and that the latter theory is established by the class of all subadditive weight functions. In its own turn, Roumieu-Komatsu theory is equivalent to Braun-Meise-Taylor one which is given by the class of all weight functions. We prove that the class of all almost subadditive weight functions forms Braun-Meise-Taylor theory of ultradistributions.  相似文献

We prove several improved versions of Bohr’s inequality for the harmonic mappings of the form f=h+g¯, where h is bounded by 1 and |g(z)||h(z)|. The improvements are obtained along the lines of an earlier work of Kayumov and Ponnusamy, i.e. (Kayumov and Ponnusamy, 2018) for example a term related to the area of the image of the disk D(0,r) under the mapping f is considered. Our results are sharp. In addition, further improvements of the main results for certain special classes of harmonic mappings are provided.  相似文献
