This paper is concerned with the existence of extreme solutions to three-point boundary value problems with nonlinear boundary conditions for a class of first order impulsive differential equations. We obtain suficient conditions for the existence of extreme solutions by the upper and lower solutions method coupled with a monotone iterative technique.  相似文献

By employing the fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression of norm type, we investigate the existence of positive solutions of generalized Sturm-Liouville boundary value problems for a nonlinear singular differential equation with a parameter. In this paper,we study the R m(m>0) Riemann boundary value problems for regular functions,harmonic functions and bi-harmonic functions with values in a universal clifford algebra C(Vn,n).By using Plemelj formula,we get the solutions of R m(m>0) Riemann boundary value problems for regular functions.Then transforming the Riemann boundary value problems for harmonic functions and bi-harmonic functions into the Riemann boundary value problems for regular functions,we obtain the solutions of R m(m>0) Riemann boundary value problems for harmonic functions and bi-harmonic functions.  相似文献

In this paper,we study the multiple positive solutions of integral boundary value problems for a class of p-Laplacian differential equations involving the Caputo fractional derivative.Using a fixed point theorem due to Avery and Peterson,we obtain the existence of at least three positive decreasing solutions of the nonlocal boundary value problems. Two new analytical formulae expressing explicitly the derivatives of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds of any degree and of any order in terms of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds themselves are proved.Two other explicit formulae which express the third and fourth kinds Chebyshev expansion coefficients of a general-order derivative of an infinitely differentiable function in terms of their original expansion coefficients are also given.Two new reduction formulae for summing some terminating hypergeometric functions of unit argument are deduced.As an application of how to use Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds for solving high-order boundary value problems,two spectral Galerkin numerical solutions of a special linear twelfth-order boundary value problem are given.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a discrete fractional boundary value problem(FBVP for short). We provide a delicate analysis for the property of Green’s function. Our analysis motivates the study of discrete fractional boundary value problems with fractional boundary conditions. In this paper,we study two-dimensional Riemann boundary value problems of Euler system for the isentropic and irrotational Chaplygin gas with initial data being two constant states given in two sectors respectively,where one sector is a quadrant and the other one has an acute vertex angle.We prove that the Riemann boundary value problem admits a global self-similar solution,if either the initial states are close,or the smaller sector is also near a quadrant.Our result can be applied to solving the problem of shock reflection by a ramp.  相似文献
