This paper studies the problem of global exponential stability and exponential convergence rate for a class of impulsive discrete-time neural networks with time-varying delays. Firstly, by means of the Lyapunov stability theory, some inequality analysis techniques and a discrete-time Halanay-type inequality technique, sufficient conditions for ensuring global exponential stability of discrete-time neural networks are derived, and the estimated exponential convergence rate is provided as well. The obtained results are then applied to derive global exponential stability criteria and exponential convergence rate of impulsive discrete-time neural networks with time-varying delays. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the obtained criteria.  相似文献

The global exponential stability for a class of uncertain delayed neural networks (DNNs) of neutral type is investigated in this paper. Delay-dependent and delay-independent criteria are proposed to guarantee the robust stability of DNNs via LMI and Razumikhin-like approaches. For a given delay, the maximal allowable exponential convergence rate will be estimated. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results. The simulation results reveal significant improvement over the recent results.  相似文献

We study the problem of estimating the exponential convergence rate and exponential stability for neural networks with time-varying delay. Some criteria for exponential stability are derived by using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. They are less conservative than the existing ones. Some analytical methods are employed to investigate the bounds on the interconnection matrix and activation functions so that the systems are exponentially stable.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of exponential stability analysis for neural networks is investigated. It is assumed that the considered neural networks have norm-bounded parametric uncertainties and interval time-varying delays. By constructing a new Lyapunov functional, new delay-dependent exponential stability criteria with an exponential convergence rate are established in terms of LMIs (linear matrix inequalities) which can be easily solved by various convex optimization algorithms. Two numerical examples are included to show the effectiveness of proposed criteria.  相似文献

The exponential stability (with convergence rate α) of uncertain linear systems with multiple time delays is studied in this paper. Using the characteristic function of linear time-delay system, stability criteria are derived to guarantee α-stability. Sufficient conditions are also obtained for exponential stability of uncertain parametric systems with multiple time delays. For two-dimensional time-invariant system with multiple time delays, the proposed stability criteria are shown to be less conservative than those in the literature. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the validity of our new stability criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, we aim to study robust exponential stabilization for a large-scale uncertain impulsive system with coupling time-delays. Furthermore, we also provide an estimation of the rate of convergence of exponential stabilization. By utilizing the Lyapunov method and Razumikhin technique, we shall design the feedback hybrid controllers in terms of linear matrix inequalities under which the robust exponential stability is achieved for a closed-loop large-scale uncertain impulsive system with coupling time-delays. Moreover, we shall also use the results obtained to design impulsive controllers for a large-scale uncertain continuous system under which the closed-loop continuous system achieves robust and exponential stability. In this paper, the influence of the noise and delay upon the stability property of reaction-diffusion recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with the time-varying delay is discussed. The new and easily verifiable conditions to guarantee the mean value exponential stability of an equilibrium solution are derived. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the robust exponential stability of discrete‐time uncertain impulsive neural networks with time‐varying delay. By using Lyapunov functions together with Razumikhin technique, some new robust exponential stability criteria are presented. The obtained results show that the robust stability can be retained under certain impulsive perturbations for the neural network, which has the robust stability property. The obtained results also show that impulses can robustly stabilize the neural network, which does not have the robust stability property. Some examples, together with their simulations, are also given to show the effectiveness and the advantage of the presented results. It should be noted that the impulsive robust exponential stabilization result for discrete‐time neural network with time‐varying delay is given for the first time. In this paper, the robust exponential stability problem is considered for a class of stochastic genetic networks with uncertain parameters. Under assumptions that the parameter uncertainties are norm bounded, both cases that the genetic network has or has not time delays are discussed. Sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the robust exponential stability in the mean square of stochastic genetic networks for all admissible parameter uncertainties. By applying Lyapunov function (functional) and conducting some stochastic analysis, the stability criteria are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMI’s), which can be easily checked in practice. Convergence dynamics of reaction–diffusion recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with continuously distributed delays and stochastic influence are considered. Some sufficient conditions to guarantee the almost sure exponential stability, mean value exponential stability and mean square exponential stability of an equilibrium solution are obtained, respectively. Lyapunov functional method, M-matrix properties, some inequality technique and nonnegative semimartingale convergence theorem are used in our approach. These criteria ensuring the different exponential stability show that diffusion and delays are harmless, but random fluctuations are important, in the stochastic continuously distributed delayed reaction–diffusion RNNs with the structure satisfying the criteria. The robust exponential stability problem in this paper for discrete-time switched Hopfield neural networks with time delay and uncertainty is considered. Firstly, the mathematical model of the system is established. Then by constructing a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some new delay-dependent criteria are developed, which guarantee the robust exponential stability of discrete-time switched Hopfield neural networks. The switching signal (switching law) design for robust global exponential stability of switched nonlinear systems is investigated in this paper. LMI-based delay-dependent criteria are proposed to design the switching signal and guarantee the global exponential stability. Free weighting matrix and additional nonnegative inequality approaches are used in this paper to find the less conservative stability results. In this paper, we investigate the problem of robust global exponential stability analysis for a class of neutral-type neural networks. The interval time-varying delays allow for both slow and fast time-varying delays. The values of the time-varying uncertain parameters are assumed to be bounded within given compact sets. Improved global exponential stability condition is derived by employing new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the integral inequality. The developed nominal and robust stability criteria is delay-dependent and characterized by linear-matrix inequalities (LMIs). The developed results are less conservative than previous published ones in the literature, which are illustrated by representative numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper considers the global exponential stability and exponential convergence rate of impulsive neural networks with continuously distributed delays in which the state variables on the impulses are related to the unbounded distributed delays. By establishing a new impulsive delay differential inequality, a new criterion concerning global exponential stability for these networks is derived, and the estimated exponential convergence rate is also obtained. The result extends and improves on earlier publications. In addition, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the applicability of the result.
