The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) is home to the world's leading spallation neutron source ISIS [1]. The ISIS neutron producing target is driven by a 50 Hz, 800 MeV, 200 _A proton beam from a rapid cycling synchrotron, which is fed by a 70 MeV H_ drift tube linac (DTL) which in turn accepts beam from an H_ 665 keV Cockcroft-Walton preinjector. The ever increasing international demand for neutrons has motivated a bid to build a second target station at ISIS, for which £100 million funding has recently been approved by the U.K. government [2]. The second target station, operating at 10 Hz, will provide new scientific opportunities in soft condensed matter, biology and advanced materials.  相似文献

The Hamiltonian is derived for the interaction of a ∧-type three-level atom with a two-mode quantum cavity field from the general interaction Hamiltonian between a multi-level atom and a multi-mode radiation field, and it is reduced to an effective two-mode Raman-coupled model under a large detuning condition. We propose a modified effective Hamiltonian for the two-mode Raman-coupled model, find the time-dependent state vectors, and present the validity conditions for the involved interaction Hamiltonians. It is shown that in the study of the two-mode Raman-coupled model it is not enough to retain only the usually used effective Hamiltonian, one must also take into account the ac Stark shift of the atomic levels (at least one of the levels). Finally, we study the atomic dynamics in the interaction of a ∧-type three-level atom with a two-mode quantum cavity field and in the two-mode Raman-coupled model. We find that the number of collapse-revivals, the collapse time and the revival time show new characteristics.  相似文献

A new criterion has been proposed to predict the major disruptions caused by tearing mode instabilities. According to the HL-2A experimental results, the statistical analyses are employed to investigate the relationships between MHD activities and the plasma disruptions. Two kinds of the tearing mode activities can finally cause the disruption on HL-2A operations. By introducing a new parameter, i.e. an integral of poloidal magnetic field over time, as the criterion of disruption precursor, almost all of the disruptions can be predicted.  相似文献

We use a Boolean cellular automaton model to describe the diffusion-limited dynamics of the irreversible reaction A+AA+S on a 1D lattice. We derive a set of equations for the dynamics of the empty interval probabilities from which explicit expressions for the particle concentration and the two-point correlation can be obtained. It is shown that the long-time dynamics is in agreement with the off-lattice solution. The early-time behavior, however, predicts a slower decay of the concentration.  相似文献

考虑了色单态和色八重态的贡献后,我们计算了固定靶情况下J/ψ和ψ′的产生截面.并把结果用来研究p–A碰撞中J/ψ压低和ψ′/ψ的产额比值问题.当–核子相互作用的截面对(cc)8取为σ8abs≈10mb,对(cc)1取为σ8abs≈0mb时,计算结果和实验数据符合得很好.推广此模型,考虑同行粒子对J/ψ的吸收,并用它来讨论A–A碰撞的情况,计算结果表明,在相同的条件下,这个模型不能同时解释S–U和Pb–Pb碰撞的实验结果.最后讨论了S–U和Pb–Pb碰撞中QGP形成的可能性.  相似文献

介绍了共振磁扰动(RMP)电源的电路拓扑结构,基本元器件的选取,初步控制方案以及电路相关的计算与仿真。RMP 线圈将由最大4kA 的直流电流或者最大频率1kHz 最大4kA 的交流正弦电流供电。通过选择合理的电源结构和控制方式,以实现响应速度快和电流纹波小的要求,并使RMP 线圈电源满足ELM 控制的需求,尽量降低对等离子体控制的不利影响。  相似文献

A test platform for the TH2103A klystrons and the high power microwave components is developed. The RF driver, four port circulator, RF load and high power cathode power supply are installed on the test bed. A short pulse test is carried out on the test bed. The parameters of the 4 klystrons are optimized by scanning the currents in the 3 focusing coils and the high power microwave transmission components are conditioned. The output power of the 4 klystrons reached 449kW, 417kW, 460kW and 450kW when the pulse duration was 30ms, respectively. The test result is an important reference for the LHCD system on HL-2A tokamak.  相似文献

介绍了HL-2A装置低杂波加热系统中的低压部分实时保护系统的原理和工作情况。实时保护电路工作可靠,系统低压部份响应延迟时间小于1μs。在2004年的单只速调管实验中,对波导内拉弧打火,速调管管体电流和速调管集电极过流进行了实时保护,各个保护对象都有专用的探头进行测量,其中管体电流探头精度达到0.7%。实验信号的分析表明保护系统的设计达到了实验要求,有效地保护了实验对象。  相似文献

为进一步提高HL-2A装置的放电参数和优化等离子体位形,给出了三种可能的主机改造途径:保留真空室,去掉并调整真空室内部分多极场线圈的局部改造方案;保留真空室,重新布局极向场线圈的中等规模改造方案;重新设计真空室和极向场线圈系统的大规模改造方案。对三种改造方案对放电参数和位形的影响和改造工程的可行性进行了分析比较,重新设计真空室和极向场线圈系统的大规模改造方案是最佳选择。  相似文献
