In this paper, we investigate nonlinear second order differential equations subject to linear impulse conditions and periodic boundary conditions. Sign properties of an associated Green’s function are exploited to get existence results for positive solutions of the nonlinear boundary value problem with impulse. Upper and lower bounds for positive solutions are also given. The results obtained yield periodic positive solutions of the corresponding periodic impulsive nonlinear differential equation on the whole real axis.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a class of nth-order boundary value problems for impulsive differential equations with integral boundary conditions and p-Laplacian. The Leray–Schauder fixed point theorem is used to investigate the existence of at least one positive solution. We also consider the existence of at least three positive solutions by using a fixed-point theorem in a cone due to Avery-Peterson. As an application, we give an example to demonstrate our results.  相似文献

We study a class of even order system boundary value problems with periodic boundary conditions. A series of criteria are obtained for the existence of one, two, any arbitrary number, and even a countably infinite number of positive solutions. Criteria for the nonexistence of positive solutions are also derived. As for the second order case, our results extend, improve, and supplement those in the literature for scalar and system boundary value problems. Several examples are given to demonstrate the applications. Moreover, we obtain conditions for system periodic boundary value problems of a different form to have nontrivial solutions by transforming our main results to such problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the impulsive boundary value problems with Riemann–Stieltjes Δ-integral conditions and p-Laplacian operator on timescales. Using the Leray–Schauder fixed point theorem and the nonlinear alternative of Leray–Schauder type, we get the existence of at least one positive solution. We also consider the existence of at least three positive solutions using a new fixed point theorem. Finally, we give an example to show the feasibility of our main results.  相似文献

Using the expression of the exact solution to a periodic boundary value problem for an impulsive first-order linear differential equation, we consider an extension to the fuzzy case and prove the existence and uniqueness of solution for a first-order linear fuzzy differential equation with impulses subject to boundary value conditions. We obtain the explicit solution by calculating the solutions on each level set and justify that the parametric functions obtained define a proper fuzzy function. Our results prove that the solution of the fuzzy differential equation of interest is determined, under the appropriate conditions, by the same Green’s function obtained for the real case. Thus, the results proved extend some theorems given for ordinary differential equations.  相似文献

We consider anti‐periodic boundary value problems for two classes of special second order impulsive differential equations. On the basis of several important impulsive differential inequalities, by using the monotone iterative technique coupled with lower and upper solutions, we obtain sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of solutions for such problems. In this paper, we obtain some new existence results of solutions of impulsive differential equations with periodic boundary conditions. The main tool that we use is critical point theory. In this paper, by using the generalization of Darbo’s fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of global solutions of an initial value problem for a class of second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in a real Banach space. Our results generalize and improve on the results of Guo et al. [F. Guo, L.S. Liu, Y.H. Wu, P. Siew, Global solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 1363–1382] in the sense that the conditions for existence of global solution in our theorem is simpler and less strict. To demonstrate the application of the theorem, we give the global solutions of two mixed boundary value problems for two classes of fourth order impulsive integro-differential equations.  相似文献
