EXISTENCE OF MULTIPLE POSITIVE PERIODIC SOLUTIONS TO A CLASS OF INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION

In this paper,by the Avery-Henderson fixed point theorem,we investigate the existence of multiple positive periodic solutions to a class of integro-differential equation. Some suficient conditions are obtained for the existence of multiple positive periodic solutions.     

Multiplicity Results for Second-order Generalized Sturm-Liouville Boundary Value Problems with Dependence on the First Order Derivative

By using fixed point theorems,we consider multiplicity of positive solutions for second-order generalized Sturm-Liouville boundary value problem,where the first order derivative is involved in the nonlinear term explicitly.We show the existence of multiple positive solutions for the problems.Example is given to illustrate the main results of the article.

In this paper,we study the multiple positive solutions of integral boundary value problems for a class of p-Laplacian differential equations involving the Caputo fractional derivative.Using a fixed point theorem due to Avery and Peterson,we obtain the existence of at least three positive decreasing solutions of the nonlocal boundary value problems. We give an example to illustrate our results.

By establishing the corresponding variational framework, and using the critical points theorem, we give the existence of multiple solutions for a fractional difference boundary value problem with p-Laplacian operator. Under some suitable assumptions we obtain the existence of a positive parameter such that the problem admits at least three solutions. Some examples are presented to illustrate the main results.

In this paper, we study the existence of multiple positive periodic solutions for the second order differential equation x′′(t) + p(t)x′(t) + q(t)x(t) = f(t, x(t)).By using Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem, we establish some criteria for the existence and multiple positive periodic solutions for this differential equation.

On pattern formation in the Gray-Scott model

In the paper, we investigate an elliptic system well-known as the Gray-Scott model and present some further results for positive solutions of this model. More precisely, we give the refined a priori estimates of positive solutions, and improve some previous results for the non-existence and existence of positive non-constant solutions as the parameters are varied, which imply some certain conditions where the pattern formation occurs or not.     

EXISTENCE THEOREM ABOUT MULTIPLE POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO p-LAPLACIAN BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

In this paper,we apply a fixed point theorem to verify the existence of multiple positive solutions to a p-Laplacian boundary value problem.Sufficient conditions are established which guarantee the existence of multiple positive solutions to the problem.     

Positive solutions for singular third-order nonhomogeneous boundary value problems

In this paper, we investigate the existence of positive solutions for singular third-order nonhomogeneous boundary value problems. By using a fixed point theorem of cone expansion-compression type due to Krasnosel??skii, we establish various results on the existence or nonexistence of single and multiple positive solutions to the singular boundary problems in the explicit intervals for the nonhomogeneous term. An example is also given to illustrate some of the main results.

Multiple positive almost periodic solutions to an impulsive non-autonomous Lotka–Volterra predator–prey system with harvesting terms

In this paper, by using Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we study an impulsive non-autonomous Lotka–Volterra predator–prey system with harvesting terms and obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of multiple positive almost periodic solutions for the system under consideration. Our results of this paper are completely new and our method used in this paper can be used to study the existence of multiple positive almost periodic solutions to other types of population systems.
