Vibrations and the damping behaviour of thin constrained composite plates with double piezoelectric layers are analytically explored by using Fourier transformation and classical laminated plate theory. Electric potential equations in the double piezoelectric layers are solved with respect to closed and open circuit boundary conditions, an exterior dielectric slab and active control. The natural frequencies and loss factors of the constrained smart composite plates with passive control methods are not notably changed in comparison with those of the constrained composite plates without piezoelectric effects since vibrational energy does not efficiently convert to electrical energy. The loss factors of the composite plates with active constrained damping increase and the natural frequencies have significant variations as the proportional derivative gains increase. Transverse displacement power spectra of the piezoelectric composite plates with active control are compared with those of the piezoelectric composite plates with passive control showing that active control has the best suppression performance of vibrations for the constrained laminated plates with double piezoelectric layers. Radial power spectral density, phase angles and cylindrical-wave power spectral density are calculated. Interesting patterns of wave propagation are explained when plane wave expansion is used to obtain Bessel cylindrical waves.  相似文献

基于Reddy分层理论推导出约束阻尼层合板的稳态振动方程,得到了约束阻尼层合板的振动频率和损耗因子;分别分析了约束阻尼层合板的粘弹性夹层厚度、模量对固有频率和损耗因子的影响;得到了稳态振动时振幅和频率曲线以及横向应力与面内应力。数值计算结果表明所采用的算法是可靠的。  相似文献

基于三维弹性理论和压电理论,导出了有限长矩形压电功率梯度板的动力学方程及相应的边界条件,并用幂级数展开法进行了求解,得到了压电功能梯度板自由振动的三维精确解公式,求解了自由振动的固有频率,并分析了压电系数的梯度变化对不同电学边界条件下压电板的自由振动频率的影响,结果可用于校核不同的近似理论及理解压电结构的动态行为。  相似文献

研究可移简支及夹支边界条件下,轴对称压电层合圆板在强电场和机械荷载联合作用下的非线性变形.考虑电致伸缩的非线性压电效应及几何非线性的影响,导出轴对称压电层合圆板的控制方程.通过调整坐标轴的位置对控制方程进行简化,得到关于挠度和径向力的4阶非线性控制方程.再通过简单的积分并引入无量刚变量将控制方程等价地化为2阶非线性耦合微分方程组.利用幂级数法得到可移简支及夹支边界条件下强电场和均布荷载共同作用时的挠度、径向力及径向位移的幂级数精确解.通过对双、单压电晶片执行器的数值计算及分析,得到电场、外载对于位移、径向力的影响关系.  相似文献

The effects of a piezoelectric layer on the stability of viscoelastic plates subjected to the follower forces are evaluated. The differential equation of motion of the viscoelastic plate with the piezoelectric layer is formulated using the two-dimensional viscoelastic differential constitutive relation and the thin plate theory. The weak integral form of the differential equations and the force boundary conditions are obtained. Using the element-free Galerkin method, the governing equation of the viscoelastic rectangular plate with elastic dilatation and Kelvin–Voigt distortion is derived, subjected to the follower forces coupled with the piezoelectric effect. A generalized complex eigenvalue problem is solved, and the force excited by the piezoelectric layer due to external voltage is modeled as the follower tensile force; this force is used to improve the stability of the non-conservative viscoelastic plate. For the viscoelastic plate with various boundary conditions, the results for the instability type and the critical loads are presented to show the variations in these factors with respect to the location of the piezoelectric layers and the applied voltages. The stability of the viscoelastic plates can be effectively improved by the determination of the optimal location for the piezoelectric layers and the most favorable voltage assignment.  相似文献

The equations of motion governing the vibration of a cantilever beam with partially treated self-sensing active constrained layer damping treatment(SACLD) are derived by application of the extended Hamilton principle. The assumed-modes method and closed loop velocity feedback control law are used to analyze and control the flexural vibration of the beam. The influence of the bonding layer and piezoelectric layer thickness, material properties, placements of the piezoelectric patch and feedback control parameters on the actuation ability of the vibration suppression are investigated. Some design considerations for pure passive, pure active control, and self-sensing active constrained layer damping are discussed. 利用压电材料固有的正,逆压电效应可以对结构变形和振动进行控制。与外加电场与极化方向平行于板厚度的压电材料的拉伸作动机制相比,外加电场与极化方向垂直的压电材料的剪切作动机制可以在作动器内产生较小的应力,从而降低作动器边界产生分层破坏的危险。本文对于压电材料的剪切作动机制进行研究,应用三阶剪切变形理论建立带剪切型压电激励器的智能层合板模型。采用哈密顿原理导出带剪切型压电激励器的层合板的控制方程。采用空间法得到了各种边界条件组合条件下板的解析解。数值算例对一三层板采用高阶和一阶剪切变形理论进行计算,结果表明两种理论所得的变形曲线很相似。但对于厚度剪切型激励器而言,由于激励器是引起板的剪切变形,而高阶剪切变形理论比一阶剪切变形理论能更好地反映结构的剪切应变能,因此高阶剪切变形理论可以提供板变形的更为精确的解。因此,对于厚度剪切型激励器,剪切变形理论的选取对于板变形结果的好坏有重要的作用。  相似文献

This paper presents a nonlinear thickness-shear vibration model for onedimensional infinite piezoelectric plate with flexoelectricity and geometric nonlinearity. The constitutive equations with flexoelectricity and governing equations are derived from the Gibbs energy density function and variational principle. The displacement adopted here is assumed to be antisymmetric through the thickness due to the thickness-shear vibration mode. Only the shear strain gradient through the thickness is considered in the present model. With geometric nonlinearity, the governing equations are converted into differential equations as the function of time by the Galerkin method. The method of multiple scales is employed to obtain the solution to the nonlinear governing equation with first order approximation. Numerical results show that the nonlinear thickness-shear vibration of piezoelectric plate is size dependent, and the flexoelectric effect has significant influence on the nonlinear thickness-shear vibration frequencies of micro-size thin plates. The geometric nonlinearity also affects the thickness-shear vibration frequencies greatly. The results show that flexoelectricity and geometric nonlinearity cannot be ignored in design of accurate high-frequency piezoelectric devices.  相似文献

考虑非线性压电效应,即电致弹性和电致伸缩效应情况下压电层合板的弯曲。从非线性压电方程和几何方程导出了压电层合板合应力、合力矩与应变之间的广义本构关系,这些关系关于电场是非线性的。利用Ritz法和双傅立叶级数得到四边简支对称压电层合板在高电场作用下的非线性解并进行计算。结果表明,只考虑线性压电效应只能适应于作用电场较低或基础层的刚度比压电层的刚度要大得多的情况。  相似文献

This paper concerns in the active and passive hybrid control of vibration of the thin plate with Local Active Constrained damping Layer (LACL). The governing equations of system are formulated based on the constitutive equations of elastic, viscoelastic, piezoelectric materials. Galerkin method and GHM method are employed to transform partial differential equations into ordinary ones with a lower dimension. LQR method of classical control theory is used in simulating calculation. Numeral results show that the active and passive hybrid control manner obtained in this paper is a better one for vibration control of the plate. The free vibration analysis of a rotating cylindrical shell with an analytical method is investigated. The shell is considered as a sandwich structure, where the middle layer is a functionally graded material(FGM) shell, and it is surrounded by two piezoelectric layers. Considering piezoelectric materials to be functionally graded(FG),the material properties vary along the thickness direction as one innovation of this study.Applying the first-order shear deformation theory(FSDT), the equations of motion of this electromechanical system are derived as the partial differential equations(PDEs) using Hamilton's principle. Then, the Galerkin procedure is used to discretize the governing equations, and the present results are compared with the previously published results for both isotropic and FGM shells to verify the analytical method. Finally, the effects of FGM and functionally graded piezoelectric material(FGPM) properties as well as the thickness ratio and the axial and circumferential wave numbers on the natural frequencies are studied. Moreover, the Campbell diagram is plotted and discussed through the governing equations. The present results show that increasing the non-homogeneous index of the FGM decreases the natural frequencies on the contrary of the effect of non-homogeneous index of the FGPM.  相似文献

Considering mass and stiffness of piezoelectric layers and damage effects of composite layers, nonlinear dynamic equations of damaged piezoelectric smart laminated plates are derived. The derivation is based on the Hamilton's principle, the higher- order shear deformation plate theory, von Karman type geometrically nonlinear straindisplacement relations, and the strain energy equivalence theory. A negative velocity feedback control algorithm coupling the direct and converse piezoelectric effects is used to realize the active control and damage detection with a closed control loop. Simply supported rectangular laminated plates with immovable edges are used in numerical computation. Influence of the piezoelectric layers' location on the vibration control is in- vestigated. In addition, effects of the degree and location of damage on the sensor output voltage are discussed. A method for damage detection is introduced.  相似文献

The creep buckling and post-buckling of the laminated piezoelectric viscoelastic functionally graded material (FGM) plates are studied in this research. Considering the transverse shear deformation and geometric nonlinearity, the Von Karman geometric relation of the laminated piezoelectric viscoelastic FGM plates with initial deflection is established. And then nonlinear creep governing equations of the laminated piezoelectric viscoelastic FGM plates subjected to an in-plane compressive load are derived on the basis of the elastic piezoelectric theory and Boltzmann superposition principle. Applying the finite difference method and the Newmark scheme, the whole problem is solved by the iterative method. In numerical examples, the effects of geometric nonlinearity, transverse shear deformation, the applied electric load, the volume fraction and the geometric parameters on the creep buckling and post-buckling of laminated piezoelectric viscoelastic FGM plates with initial deflection are investigated.  相似文献

A global higher-order shear deformation theory is devised to obtain the governing equations of composite plates under dynamic excitation. The time-harmonic solution leads to an eigenvalue problem for the natural frequencies of plates. The eigenvalue problem for rectangular plates is converted to a set of homogenous algebraic equations using differential quadrature method. The formulation of the problem allows direct application of various boundary conditions. Therefore, rectangular plates with mixed boundary conditions are also considered. To show the validity of results, the fundamental natural frequencies of composite plates with different boundary conditions and those of isotropic plates with mixed boundary conditions are compared against the results available in the literature.  相似文献

基于弹性、粘弹性和压电材料本构方程,应用能量法建立了主动约束层阻尼(ACLD)圆柱壳体的有限元动力学方程。通过对压电传感层自感电压的比例、微分反馈控制,对主动约束层阻尼(ACLD)圆柱壳体进行了主被动一体化振动控制,研究了复合圆柱壳体的动力学响应特性。讨论了主动约束层阻尼(ACLD)片体的位置、覆盖率、粘弹性层厚度及控制增益等关键参数对圆柱壳体振动特性的影响。研究表明:主动约束层阻尼(ACLD)片体的粘贴位置与模态有关,针对不同模态,应采用不同的粘贴位置;覆盖率、粘弹性层厚度及控制增益等直接影响到振幅衰减程度,通过对片体位置、覆盖率、粘弹性层厚度及控制增益等关键参数的优化,能有效降低主动约束层阻尼圆柱壳体的振动,具有十分重要的工程应用价值。  相似文献

By applying the Heaviside function, the equations governing laminated plates possessing spatially distributed piezoelectric patches have been established. Based on these equations, static shape control of laminated plates is discussed. By using a genetic and collocation algorithm, the optimal locations and scales of these piezoelectric patches have been selected. This article presents closed-form solutions for the frequency analysis of rectangular functionally graded material(FGM) thin plates subjected to initially in-plane loads and with an elastic foundation. Based on classical thin plate theory, the governing differential equations are derived using Hamilton's principle. A neutral surface is used to eliminate stretching–bending coupling in FGM plates on the basis of the assumption of constant Poisson's ratio. The resulting governing equation of FGM thin plates has the same form as homogeneous thin plates. The separation-ofvariables method is adopted to obtain solutions for the free vibration problems of rectangular FGM thin plates with separable boundary conditions, including, for example, clamped plates. The obtained normal modes and frequencies are in elegant closed forms, and present formulations and solutions are validated by comparing present results with those in the literature and finite element method results obtained by the authors. A parameter study reveals the effects of the power law index n and aspect ratio a/b on frequencies.  相似文献

The present study deals with free vibration analysis of variable thickness viscoelastic circular plates made of heterogeneous materials and resting on two-parameter elastic foundations in addition to their edge conditions.It is assumed that the viscoelastic material properties vary in the transverse and radial directions simultaneously.The complex modulus approach is employed in conjunction with the elastic-viscoelastic correspondence principle to obtain the solution.The governing equations are solved by means of a power series solution.Finally,a sensitivity analysis including evaluation of effects of various edge conditions,thickness variations,coefficients of the elastic foundation,and material loss factor and heterogeneity on the natural frequencies and modal loss factors is accomplished.  相似文献
