不同浓度的Cu元素掺杂会极大地影响TiNi二元合金的物理性质和相变行为.为了解释其中的物理机制,本文通过第一性原理计算,对TiNi和Ti_(50)Ni_(25)Cu_(25)的相变机制和相稳定性进行了计算和讨论.通过计算Cu掺杂前后立方相到正交相、再到单斜相过程中的相变路径和相变势垒,解释了Cu掺杂对二元合金TiNi相变过程的影响.计算结果表明:TiNi合金的正交相和单斜相之间存在一个大小为1.6meV的相变势垒;而对于Ti_(50)Ni_(25)Cu_(25),这两个相之间的相变势垒大小至少为10.3meV,如此大的一个相变势垒意味着Ti_(50)Ni_(25)Cu_(25)合金的正交相很难跨过势垒相变到单斜相.  相似文献

A pronounced peak in the thermal expansion coefficient — and thus in the Grüneisen parameter — has been found at the temperature corresponding to the martensitic transformation in TiNi. This finding, together with results of ultrasound wave propagation studies, attests to anomalous lattice-dynamical behaviour in the vicinity of the phase transition. Ultrasonic wave attenuation and velocity data are interpreted on the basis of Akhieser-type, phonon viscosity damping. Results obtained are consistent with the hypothesis that a soft phonon mode plays a dominant role in the lattice properties of TiNi near the transition.  相似文献

The effects of cyclic stress loading on the microstructual evolution and tensile properties of a medium-carbon superbainitic steel were investigated. Experimental results show that the cyclic stress can induce the carbon gathering in austenite and phase transformation from film-like retained austenite to twin martensite, which will obviously enhance the tensile strength and the product of tensile strength and ductility. The higher the bainitic transformation temperature, the lower the transformation rate of the retained austenite. The amount and thickness of the film-like retained austenite play an important role during the cyclic stress induced phase transformation.  相似文献

在连续升温条件下,测量了共析Zn-Al合金的应变速率和黏度随温度的变化曲线,在共析转变温区观测到伴随相变过程的黏度极小值,研究了应力对应变速率和升温速率对黏度极小值的影响,发现在相变温区材料的力学行为遵从Newton黏滞流变定律,用相界面的数量和性质解释了相变温区Zn-Al合金的黏滞流变行为.将相变激活能和相界面的流变激活能进行比较,说明界面的流动性是影响相变的主要因素.结合过去在非晶Pd-Cu-Si合金的结构转变过程中观测到的伴随玻璃转变和晶化过程的黏度极小值,说明伴随着结构转变或相变过程,黏度出现极小 关键词:  相似文献

Molecular dynamics simulation was conducted to investigate the phase transformation behaviour of nickel–titanium (NiTi, 50%-50% at.%) nanopillar under uniaxial compression at loading rates varying from 3.30 × 107 to 3.30 × 109 s?1 and at temperatures varying from 325 to 600 K. The phase transformation of NiTi was observed to be sensitive to loading rates and temperatures. The phase transformation stress of B2 → B19 increased with increasing temperature while it was insensitive to loading rate. The phase transformation stress of B19 → B19′ → BCO increased with increasing strain rate and decreasing temperature. In addition, reverse phase transformation was observed during compression due to the interaction between the phase transformation of B19 → B19′ → BCO and the deformation twinning/dislocation slide-induced plasticity of the BCO phase, leading to different residual crystal structures after loading. Moreover, a diagram for the phase transformation behaviour of NiTi in the simulated ranges of strain rate and temperature was obtained, from which the contrary experimental observations on the phase transformation behaviour of NiTi from the studies of Nemat-Nasser et al. (Mech. Mater. 37 (2005) p.287) and Liao et al. (J. Appl. Phys. 112 (2012) p.033515) at various strain rates could be well explained.  相似文献

The aim of this work is an investigation of structure and martensitic transformation in bimetal composite ‘TiNi–stainless steel’ produced by explosion welding. The results have shown that the mixture of chemical elements is observed in very narrow intervals of 6 µm close to the joint – 2 µm from the TiNi side and 4 µm from the steel one. Micro-hardness distribution in the vicinity of the joint is non-monotonic in the interval of 60 µm. Connection of stainless steel and TiNi plates by explosion welding leads to a dramatic change of martensitic transformation kinetics. Temperatures and the temperature interval of phase transformation increase strongly and heat transformation decreases. Annealing at 500°C for 2 h of bimetal composite decreases the interval of micro-hardness variation and partially recovers kinetics of phase transitions.  相似文献

An atomic force microscope operated at various temperatures is introduced to evaluate phase transformation temperature and to observe microstructure for a shape memory alloy at same time in this paper. A commercial hot-rolled TiNi shape memory alloy bar is ground, polished and etched. The specimen is then observed by atomic force microscopy at the temperature range of 20–100 C in nitrogen gas. The topographies of a TiNi specimen show twinning martensite with rough surface and smooth austenite at various temperatures. The shape memory effect of the TiNi alloy is analyzed based on the shifts of the topographies obtained at various temperatures, which are used to evaluate the phase transformation temperature between martensite and austenite. The phase transformation temperature is also confirmed in a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) experiment.  相似文献

It is known that the main factors in a variation in the shape memory alloy properties under insonation are heating of the material and alternate stresses action. In the present work the experimental study of the mechanical behaviour and functional properties of shape memory alloy under the action of alternate stresses and varying temperature was carried out. The data obtained had demonstrated that an increase in temperature of the sample resulted in a decrease or increase in deformation stress depending on the structural state of the TiNi sample. It was shown that in the case of the alloy in the martensitic state, a decrease in stress was observed, and on the other hand, in the austenitic state an increase in stress took place. It was found that action of alternate stresses led to appearance of strain jumps on the strain–temperature curves during cooling and heating the sample through the temperature range of martensitic transformation under the constant stress. The value of the strain jumps depended on the amplitude of alternate stresses and the completeness of martensitic transformation. It was shown that the heat action of ultrasonic vibration to the mechanical behaviour of shape memory alloys was due to the non-monotonic dependence of yield stress on the temperature. The force action of ultrasonic vibration to the functional properties was caused by formation of additional oriented martensite.  相似文献

The effect of shear strain on the iron α-ε phase transformation has been studied using a rotational diamond anvil cell (RDAC). The initial transition is observed to take place at the reduced pressure of 10.8?GPa under pressure and shear operation. Complete phase transformation was observed at 15.4?GPa. The rotation of an anvil causes limited pressure elevation and makes the pressure distribution symmetric in the sample chamber before the phase transition. However, it causes a significant pressure increase at the centre of the sample and brings about a large pressure gradient during the phase transformation. The resistance to the phase interface motion is enhanced due to strain hardening during the pressure and shear operations on iron and this further increases the transition pressure. The work of macroscopic shear stress and the work of the pressure and shear stress at the defect tips account for the pressure reduction of the iron phase transition.  相似文献

获取动态压缩条件下结构演化过程是冲击相变及其动力学机理研究最为关注的基础问题之一.对此,基于激光驱动瞬态X射线衍射技术,通过系列实验的物理状态关联和抽运-探测时序控制,实现了静态与动态晶格衍射信号的同时获取,消除了不同实验的装置结构和样品差异带来的测量误差,建立了一种基于原位X射线衍射技术的动态晶格响应测量方法.利用上述实验方法,成功实现了激光冲击加载下[111]单晶铁晶格压缩过程的原位测量,获取弹性及塑性响应的晶格压缩度与宏观雨贡纽测量结果完全符合,从晶格层面证实了超快激光加载下的高屈服强度(雨贡纽弹性极限值大于6 GPa),以及可能与晶向效应或加载率效应相关的相变迟滞现象(至终态压力23.9 GPa仍为体心立方结构),相关物理机制仍有待进一步研究.上述测量方法的建立为后续开展相变动力学机理研究提供了可行的技术途径和重要的参考价值.  相似文献

The structural evolution of misfit dislocation networks at γ/γ′ phase interfaces in Ni-based single crystal superalloys under tensile loading and temperatures is simulated by molecular dynamics. From the simulation, we find that, with increasing load or temperature, the patterns of dislocation networks on the (100), (110) and (111) phase interfaces change from regular to irregular or disappear. Under the same load and temperature, the dislocation networks of the different phase interfaces show different degrees and patterns of damage. The density and stability of the dislocation networks decrease with increasing temperature. When the interfacial dislocation networks become more regular, the γ/γ′ interfaces become more stable. The simulated results are supported by related experimental findings. Moreover, based on MD simulations, the averaged stress–strain responses for different phase interfaces under loading are presented. The results indicate that the combined influences of temperature and load play an important role for the structure evolution of misfit dislocation networks at γ/γ′ phase interfaces of Ni-based superalloys.  相似文献

 提出了一个新的粘塑性介质中球形孔洞在高加载率作用下的演化方程。方程中考虑了应变率、局部惯性和介质的硬化效应,并对这些影响进行了数值分析和讨论。数值分析结果表明:孔洞的增长对外加载率和应变率十分敏感,在高加载率条件下局部惯性效应对孔洞增长有着重要影响,随着加载率的增加,这种影响增大。另外,得到了使孔洞增长的临界应力值的表达式。  相似文献

In this article, it has been shown that the process of reconfiguration of the crystal defects system noticeably contributes to the width of the stress–strain and strain–temperature hysteresis loops taken during the stress- and temperature-induced martensitic transformations of the shape memory alloys. It has been demonstrated that the contribution of the defects system to the hysteresis width strongly depends on the alloy temperature and the transformation cycle duration. It has been shown that the hysteresis effect can be observed not only in the course of the first-order phase transition of martensitic type, but also in the course of the gradual deformation of crystal lattice. The obtained results are applicable to the ferroelastic phase transitions in the different crystalline solids.  相似文献

The effect of low-temperature annealing on the structure, kinetics of martensitic transformations, and functional properties of an equiatomic TiNi shape memory alloy is studied. Low-temperature annealing of the TiNi alloy is shown to decrease the temperature of the end of the forward martensite transformation M f and the temperature of the onset of the reverse transformation A s , which increases the transformation temperature range. As a result, the shape memory effect is improved due to a decrease in the irreversible strain. These phenomena are assumed to be caused by the hardening of the TiNi alloy induced by low-temperature annealing.  相似文献

 利用磁控溅射的方法在氧化后的单晶Si基片上制备了TiNi形状记忆合金薄膜,利用示差扫描量热法和原位X射线衍射研究了薄膜的马氏体相变特征。通过60keV质子注入(辐照)薄膜样品研究了H+离子对合金薄膜马氏体相变特征的影响,结果表明氢离子注入后引起了马氏体相变开始Ms和结束点Mf以及逆马氏体相变开始As和结束温度Af的下降,而对R相变开始Rs和结束温度Rf影响不大。掠入射X射线衍射表明H+离子注入后有氢化物形成。H+离子注入形成的氢化物是引起相变点的变化的主要因素。  相似文献

Temperature changes during tensile test and simple shear test of TiNi shape memory alloys loaded at various strain rates and at different temperatures have been presented. The temperature changes were measured by recording infrared radiation emitted by the surface of the specimen. It was found that the martensite transformation was accompanied by an increase in temperature while the reversible transformation––temperature decrease.  相似文献

Preheated Bi (296-532 K) was ramp compressed with 15-35 ns rise times to a peak stress of approximately 11 GPa to explore structural phase-transformation kinetics under dynamic loading conditions. At high strain rates, epsilon[over ]>5 x 10;{6} s;{-1}, deviation from equilibrium phase boundaries suggests that compression time scales are comparable to the new phase incubation period. 通过Metravib热机械分析仪, 用固定静载为100 N、 正弦波动载荷为60 N的应力-应变实验方法, 在温度为-50---175 ℃, 升温速率为1 ℃/min, 频率为1---1000 Hz的条件下, 对泵油饱和长石砂岩、 彭山砂岩样品进行单轴循环加载实验, 研究了饱和多孔岩石在弹性范围内的衰减、 耗散角、 杨氏模量和弹性波波速随温度和频率的变化规律. 取得了随频率增高饱和多孔岩石的衰减峰和耗散角峰的峰位向高温方向移动的热激活弛豫规律, 并求得弛豫峰的激活能和跃迁频率, 以饱和砂岩的特点对此作出了解释. 发现岩石中矿物离子置换时的相变内耗峰, 并用动态观点解释了该相变峰. 还获得杨氏模量和弹性波波速随温度升高而下降、 随频率增高而增大的频散效应, 随温度升高频散效应有减弱的趋势. 该研究结果对理论模型研究具有指导意义, 对地震资料的解释具有实用价值.  相似文献

The relaxation properties and fracture of glycerol, silicone oil, transformer oil, and water have been studied experimentally under shock wave loading. The power-law strain rate dependences of the stress amplitude and spall strength were found for the compression and rarefaction fronts, respectively. It was shown that temperature has a strong influence on the spall strength of glycerol near the phase transformation temperature. The power laws reflect a self-similar nature of the momentum transfer and fracture mechanisms of liquids that are conventionally observed in solids and governed by the mechanisms of defect-induced structural relaxation. The mechanisms of viscoelasticity are related to the metastable states that may give rise to a collective behavior of displacement field fluctuations (microshearing) in liquids and thus provide a viscoplastic response of liquids under high strain rate loading.  相似文献
