We demonstrate a compact and efficient diode-end-pumped TEM>(00) laser with output power of 30 W for 48 W of incident pump power by use of two coated Nd:YVO> (4) crystals to form a thermally stabilized flat-flat cavity. In Q -switched operation 25 W of average power at a pulse-repetition rate of 100 kHz and ~0.9-mJ pulse energy at a pulse-repetition rate of 10 kHz were produced.  相似文献

报道了一个高效率连续波和调Q高重频两种运行方式的Tm,HoGdVO4激光器.Tm,HoGdVO4晶体尺寸4 mm×4 mm×7 mm,a轴通光,液氮制冷到100 K,由发射中心波长为793 nm的光纤耦合激光二极管端面泵浦.Tm,HoGdVO4激光连续波输出功率4.0 W,光光转换效率26%.声光调Q条件下输出平均高功率3.9 W,脉冲重复频率10 kHz,脉冲宽度50 ns. 通过减小声光Q开关的开启时间,激光脉冲宽度由50 ns减小至23 ns.在10 kHz重频下,测量最大脉冲能量0.39 mJ , 峰值功率7.8 kW.  相似文献

We report on a femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser amplifier system that generates pulse energies >5 mJ at a 1-kHz repetition rate. The system consists of regenerative and multipass amplifiers and uses the technique of chirped-pulse amplification. When the system was seeded with 70-fs pulses at 800 nm from a self-mode-locked Ti:sapphire oscillator, amplified pulses of 94-fs duration at a repetition rate of 1 kHz and an average output power of 5.4 W were produced. The amplified pulse-repetition rate is variable from 250 Hz to 3 kHz. Pulse energies of >7.5 mJ were obtained at 500 and 250 Hz.  相似文献

LD-pumped actively Q-switched intracavity frequency-doubled Nd:GdVO4/KTP red laser has been introduced. A maximum red average output power of 0.78 W at 671 nm was obtained at pulse-repetition frequency (PRF) of 15 kHz and the optical conversion efficiency was 6.5%. At the incident pump power of 12 W, the shortest laser pulse occurred at PRF of 15 kHz. Its full-width at half-maximum and the highest peak power were measured to be 35.8 ns and 3.38 kW. The largest single pulse energy of 56.3 μJ was achieved at PRF of 10 kHz. The influence factors on the Q-switched Nd:GdVO4/KTP red laser have been discussed.  相似文献

We report the continuous-wave and acousto-optical Q-switched operation of a diode-end-pumped Tm:YAP laser. Continuous-wave output power of 3.5 W at 1.99 μm was obtained under the absorbed pump power of 14 W. Under Q-switched laser operation, the average output power increased from 1.57 W to 2.0 W, with an absorbed pump power of 12.6 W, as the repetition rate increased from 1 kHz to 10 kHz. The maximum Q-switched pulse energy was 1.57 mJ with a repetition rate of 1 kHz. The minimum pulse width was measured to be about 80 ns, corresponding to a peak power of 19.6 kW. I report the first demonstration of the generation of efficient sub-nanosecond self-stimulated Raman pulses by a diode-pumped passively Q-switched Nd:GdVO4/Cr4+:YAG laser. The conversion efficiency for the average power is 7% from pump diode input to self-Raman output and the slope efficiency is up to 14%. At an incident pump power of 2.0 W, the pulse duration, pulse energy, and peak power for the Stokes wavelength of 1175.6 nm were found to be 750 ps, 6.3 J, and 8.4 kW, respectively, with a pulse-repetition rate of 22 kHz. We analyzed a linear cavity for intracavity frequency doubling of a diode-pumped acousto-optic Q-switched Nd:YAG rod laser, and showed that a green laser beam with a short pulse width can be generated efficiently. A green laser output power of 73 W corresponding to the 83.9% of maximum IR output power was obtained with a 40 ns pulse width at a 10 kHz repetition rate. A green output power of 40 W with a 35 ns pulse width was measured at a 5 kHz repetition rate. Minimum laser pulse width of approximately 32 ns was obtained around 1 kHz repetition rate for both green and IR laser beams.  相似文献

A 32.1 W laser-diode-stack pumped acoustic-optic Q-switched Nd:YVO4 slab laser with hybrid resonator at 1064 nm was demonstrated with the pumping power of 112 W and repetition rate of 40 kHz, the pulse duration was 32.47 ns. The slope efficiency and optical-to-optical efficiency were 37 and 28.7%, respectively. At the repetition rate of 20 kHz and pumping power of 90 W, the average output power and pulse duration were 20.4 W and 20.43 ns, respectively. With the pumping power of 112 W, the beam quality M2 factors in CW operation were measured to be 1.3 in stable direction and 1.6 in unstable direction.  相似文献

We report a room-temperature high-peak-power AlGaInAs 1.36 microm TEM00 laser pumped by a diode-pumped actively Q-switched Nd:YAG 1.06 microm laser. With an average pump power of 1.0 W, an average output power of 140 mW was obtained at a pulse repetition rate of 10 kHz. With a peak pump power of 8.3 kW, the highest peak output power was 1.5 kW at a pulse repetition rate of 5 kHz.  相似文献

A diode-end-pumped high repetition rate, high peak power acousto-optical (AO) Q-switched 946 nm Nd:YAG laser was demonstrated in this paper. In our experiments, a 20 mm miniature acousto-optical Q-switch was employed in a 45 mm linear laser cavity for generating the short laser pulse. At a repetition rate of 10 kHz, a maximum average output power of 2.9 W was achieved with a pulse width of 24.4 ns, giving a peak power of 11.9 kW. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest peak power 946 nm Nd:YAG laser at high repetition rate operation. Moreover, pulse train with good stability was also obtained at the repetition rate of 50 kHz. At an incident pump power of 22.3 W, up to an average output power of 3.5 W pulsed 946 nm laser was generated at 50 kHz with a pulse width of 69 ns, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 15.7% and an average slope efficiency of 24.1%, respectively.  相似文献

成功制备了金纳米笼溶液并将其作为饱和吸收体,实现了中心波长为1106 nm的Nd:GAGG激光器的调Q运转。在输出镜透过率为3%的激光器中,在泵浦功率6.70 W下获得的最大平均输出功率为98 mW,此时对应的脉冲重复率为206 kHz,最短脉冲宽度为436 ns;在输出镜透过率为7%的激光器中,当泵浦功率为7.69 W时,得到的最大平均输出功率为121 mW,最短脉冲宽度为370 ns,对应的脉冲重复率为170 kHz。实验结果证明了金纳米笼在近红外波段激光器中用作饱和吸收体的巨大潜力。  相似文献

we have experimentally studied the passively Q-switched performance of a diode-pumped Nd:GGG laser at 1062 nm with a GaAs saturable absorber, in the experiment when the pumped power was 9.8 W, the maximum CW output power of 5.1 W was obtained. The optical conversion efficiency and the slop efficiency were 52 and 53%, respectively. The threshold was 0.9 W. In the passively Q-switched regime, we get the average output power of 0.93 W. The shortest pulse width and pulse repetition rate were 7 ns and 188 kHz, respectively.  相似文献

对激光二极管泵浦的NdYAG声光调Q腔内倍频固体激光器的折叠腔型进行了研究,当泵浦功率达800 W时,在V型腔上实现了脉宽为80 ns、重复频率为10 kHz、发散角为6 mrad、绿光功率为112 W的输出;在Z型腔上实现了脉宽为95 ns、重复频率为10 kHz、发散角为4 mrad、绿光功率为120 W的输出.比较两种腔型的实验结果可看出,Z型腔由于插入的光学元件较多,腔长较长,输出激光的脉宽较宽,但输出激光的光束质量有明显的提高.  相似文献

以808nm半导体激光器为抽运源,掺钕双包层保偏光纤为增益介质,对调Q脉冲保偏光纤激光器进行了理论分析和实验研究.利用TDS5104型示波器探测输出脉冲激光的波形,并用光谱分析仪得到输出脉冲激光的光谱图.利用F-P腔型,在1060nm处获得平均功率为2.55W的脉冲激光输出,重复频率为1kHz时,输出单脉冲能量为2.3mJ,峰值功率为4.7kW.改变腔型,把二色镜倾斜放置兼作输出镜,最终获得了平均功率为3.5W的偏振脉冲激光输出,重复频率为1kHz时,输出单脉冲能量为3.3mJ,脉冲宽度为184ns,其峰 关键词: 激光技术 光纤激光器 掺钕保偏光纤 调Q  相似文献

A high-power high-repetition-rate acousto-optically Q-switched 1342 nm laser with double Nd:YVO4 crystals pumped by fiber-coupled laser diodes is presented. The highest output power of 13.7 W was achieved with a total of 42 W pumping power in cw operation, the slope efficiency was measured as 36%, and the optical efficiency was better than 32%. In Q-switchedoperation, the highest pulse repetition rate of 100 kHz was obtained. At 50 kHz repetition rate, the laser exported 11.2 W average output power, with 60 ns average pulse width, ∼5% width stability (RMS) and ∼8% peak-power stability (RMS). At 10 kHz repetition rate, the highest average output power was measured as 6.3 W, single pulse energy was calculated as 0.63 mJ, with pulse width of 19 ns and peak-power higher than 30 kW. A laser diode-stack end-pumped electro-optically Q-switched Nd:YAG slab oscillator-amplifier system with neardiffraction-limited output is demonstrated by a stable-unstable hybrid resonator. The average power of 100 W at a repetition rate of lOkHz with a pulse width 14.7ns and average power of 76.3 W at a repetition rate of 5kHz with a pulse width of 10.2ns are measured. At the repetition rate of 10 kHz and at an output power of 89 W, the beam quality factors M^2 in the unstable and stable directions are 1.3 and 1.5, respectively.  相似文献

 报道了一台全光纤结构主振荡功率放大(MOPA)型掺镱脉冲光纤激光器,以光纤光栅为腔镜,光纤型声光调Q的光纤激光器为种子源,通过两级掺镱双包层光纤放大器实现功率放大。对声光调Q的光纤激光器输出特性进行了研究,比较了不同泵浦波长、不同重复频率对激光输出功率和脉冲宽度的影响,并实现了最短脉冲宽度25 ns、单脉冲能量45 μJ的脉冲激光输出。在重复频率50 kHz时,对脉冲宽度130 ns、平均功率0.6 W的种子光进行放大,得到了平均功率102.5 W、脉冲宽度约240 ns的激光输出。  相似文献

采用一种新型的被动调Q饱和吸收体,低温生长GaAs薄膜,实现了半导体抽运Nd∶YVO4激光器的调Q运转.研究了激光器的调Q特性,调Q抽运阈值为2W.在抽运功率9.2 W时,获得的最短脉冲半峰全宽为15 ns,最大单脉冲能量为4.84 μJ,最高峰值功率为330 W,最大平均输出功率为1.16 W;脉冲重复频率在220 kHz到360 kHz之间.  相似文献

基于半导体可饱和吸收镜和光纤光栅实现了稳定的2 m波段被动调Q光纤脉冲激光器,输出激光的中心波长为1958.2 nm。随着泵浦功率的增加,输出脉冲的重复频率不断增加,而对应脉冲的宽度不断减小。输出脉冲重复频率的变化范围为20~80 kHz,脉冲宽度的变化范围为490 ns~1 s。当泵浦功率为1.3 W时,调Q光纤激光器的最大平均输出功率为91 mW,脉冲重复频率为80 kHz,脉冲宽度为490 ns,对应的最大单脉冲能量约为1.14 J。  相似文献
