Semi-Relativistic Two-Body States of Spinless Particles with a Scalar-Type Interaction Potential

A semi-relativistic quantum approximation for mutual scalar interaction potentials is outlined and discussed.Equations are consistent with two-body Dirac equations for bound states of zero total angular momentum. Two-body effects near the non-relativistic limit for a linear scalar potential is studied in some detail.

Mass spectra of light and heavy mesons in the-Dirac equation with power-law potential

The mass spectra of both light and heavy mesons are studied in the Dirac equation with an equally mixed 4-vector and scalar power-law potential model. This potential provides an excellent fit not only to the mass spectra ofp°, ϕ, Ψ and υ families but also to those ofD, F andB mesons. The light quark masses inp° and ϕ as well as in atom-like mesons are very close to the current quark masses.     

Relativistic symmetry of position-dependent mass particle in Coulomb field including tensor interaction

The spatially-dependent mass Dirac equation is solved exactly for attractive scalar and repulsive vector Coulomb potentials including a tensor interaction under the spin and pseudospin symmetric limit. Closed forms of the energy eigenvalue equation and wave functions are obtained for arbitrary spin-orbit quantum number κ. Some numerical results are given too. The effect of the tensor interaction on the bound states is presented. It is shown that the tensor interaction removes the degeneracy between two states in the spin doublets. We also investigate the effects of the spatially-dependent mass on the bound states under the conditions of the spin symmetric limit in the absence of tensor interaction.     

Solutions of the Dirac Equation for the Davidson Potential

In the present paper we solve the Dirac equation with Davidson potential by Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The Dirac Hamiltonian contains a scalar S and a vector V Davidson potentials. With equal scalar and vector potential, analytical solutions for bound states of the corresponding Dirac equations are found.

Bound Dirac states,different Lorentz-type couplings of central potentials and the non-relativistic limit

The analysis of bound radial Dirac states is shown to simplify for problems with an equal mixture of Lorentz vector and Lorentz scalar potentials, thus satisfying a so-called spin symmetry of the energy spectrum. Typical relativistic restrictions on potentials that are singular at the origin then disappear. Such potentials may even be strongly singular at the origin like the well known Lennard-Jones potentials modelling many atom-atom interactions, and they reduce to non-relativistic potentials of identical form. Bound state energies for potentials with equal vector- and scalar couplings are compared with those of a pure vector coupling of the same radial (attractive screened and unscreened Coulomb) shapes, and with non-relativistic results.

Relativistic symmetries in the Hulthn scalar-vector-tensor interactions

In the presence of spin and pseudospin (p-spin) symmetries, the approximate analytical bound states of the Dirac equation for scalar-vector-tensor Hulthn potentials are obtained with any arbitrary spin-orbit coupling number κ using the Pekeris approximation. The Hulthn tensor interaction is studied instead of the commonly used Coulomb or linear terms. The generalized parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method is used to obtain energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions in their closed forms. It is shown that tensor interaction removes degeneracy between spin and p-spin doublets. Some numerical results are also given.

Spin Symmetry for Dirac Equation with the Trigonometric Pöschl-Teller Potential

Within the framework of the Dirac theory, the relativistic bound states for the trigonometric Pöschl-Teller (PT) potential are obtained in the case of spin symmetry. It is found from the numerical results that there exist only positive energy states for bound states in the case of spin symmetry. Also, the energy levels approach a constant when the potential parameter α goes to zero. The special case for equally scalar and vector trigonometric PT potential is also studied briefly.

Exact Bound Solution of the Klein-Gordon Equation and the Dirac Equation with Rosen-MorseⅡ Potential

In this paper, the relativistic Rosen-Morse II potential is investigated by solving the Klein-Gordon and the Dirac equations with equal attractive scalar s(r) and repulsive vector v(r) potentials. The exact energy equations of the bound state are obtained by the method of supersymmetric and shape invariance. Finally, a kind of special potential about Rosen-MorseⅡ potential is discussed.     

Perturbed Coulomb potentials in the Klein-Gordon equation via the asymptotic iteration method

The asymptotic iteration method is used to construct the exact energy eigenvalues for a Lorentz vector or a Lorentz scalar, and an equally mixed Lorentz vector and Lorentz scalar Coulombic potentials. Highly accurate and rapidly converging ground-state energies for Lorentz vector Coulomb with a Lorentz vector or a Lorentz scalar linear potential, , respectively, are obtained.
