In this paper, the authors completely characterize the finite rank commutator and semi-commutator of two monomial Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Hardy space of the torus or the unit sphere. 在本文中,我们决定出多复变Hardy空间H2上解析Toeplitz代数的本质换位.即一个算子与所有解析Toeplitz算子本质可换,当且仅当它是符号属于Ac的Toeplitz算子的紧扰动.由此,符号属于Ac的Toeplitz算子生成的代数F(Ac)在Calkin代数中的像是极大可换闭代数,这导致了L.Coburn正合列的极大扩充.从这个事实,证明了符号属于Ac的Toeplitz算子的本质谱是连通的,这大大改进了C-S最近的工作.从本文的主要定理,证明了Toeplitz代数F(L∞)的本质换位和本质中心是由符号属于QC的Toeplitz算子生成的代数F(QC),这些结果又导致了对代数F(H∞)+K自同构群的确定.  相似文献

A limit theorem is established for a finite sum of finite products of Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space of the polydisk. On the Dirichlet space of the unit ball, we study some algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators. We give a relation between Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet space and their analogues defined on the Hardy space. Based on this, we characterize when finite sums of products of Toeplitz operators are of finite rank. Also, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the commutator and semi-commutator of two Toeplitz operators being zero.  相似文献

A celebrated theorem of Coburn asserts that, on the setting of the Hardy space, if a Toeplitz operator is nonzero, then either it is one-to-one or its adjoint operator is one-to-one. The proof of the index formula of the Toeplitz operator with a continuous symbol on the Hardy space for the unit circle in the complex plane depends on the Hopf theorem. However, the analogue result of the Hopf theorem does not hold on a general connected domain. Hence, the extension of the index formula of the Toeplitz operator on a general domain needs a method which is different from that for the case of the unit circle. In the present paper, the index formula of the Toeplitz operator with a continuous symbol on the finite complex connected domain in the complex plane is obtained, and the cohomology groups of Toeplitz algebras on general domains are discussed. In addition, the Toeplitz operators with symbols in QC are also discussed.  相似文献

We solve a characterization problem for dual Hardy-space Toeplitz operators on the unit sphere \({\mathbb{S}_{n}}\) in \({\mathbb{C}^{n}}\) posed by Guediri (Acta Math Sin (English series) 29(9):1791–1808, 2013). Our proof relies on the observation that dual Toeplitz operators on the orthogonal complement \({H^{2}(\mathbb{S}_{n})^{\bot}}\) of the Hardy space in L 2 can be viewed as Toeplitz operators with respect to a suitable spherical isometry. This correspondence also allows us to determine the commutator ideal of the dual Toeplitz C *-algebra.  相似文献

We study subnormal Toeplitz operators on the vector-valued Hardy space of the unit circle, along with an appropriate reformulation of P.R. Halmos?s Problem 5: Which subnormal block Toeplitz operators are either normal or analytic? We extend and prove Abrahamse?s theorem to the case of matrix-valued symbols; that is, we show that every subnormal block Toeplitz operator with bounded type symbol (i.e., a quotient of two bounded analytic functions), whose analytic and co-analytic parts have the “left coprime factorization”, is normal or analytic. We also prove that the left coprime factorization condition is essential. Finally, we examine a well-known conjecture, of whether every subnormal Toeplitz operator with finite rank self-commutator is normal or analytic.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove an invertibility criterion for certain operators which is given as a linear algebraic combination of Toeplitz operators and Fourier multipliers acting on the Hardy space of the unit disc. Very similar to the case of Toeplitz operators, we prove that such operators are invertible if and only if they are Fredholm and their Fredholm index is zero. As an application, we prove that for “quasi-parabolic” composition operators the spectra and the essential spectra are equal.  相似文献

The reflexivity and transitivity of subspaces of Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space on the upper half-plane are investigated. The dichotomic behavior (transitive or reflexive) of these subspaces is shown. It refers to the similar dichotomic behavior for subspaces of Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space on the unit disc. The isomorphism between the Hardy spaces on the unit disc and the upper half-plane is used. To keep weak* homeomorphism between L spaces on the unit circle and the real line we redefine the classical isomorphism between L 1 spaces.  相似文献

The famous von Neumann-Wold Theorem tells us that each analytic Toeplitz operator with n 1-Blaschke factors is unitary to n 1 copies of the unilateral shift on the Hardy space. It is obvious that the von Neumann-Wold Theorem does not hold in the Bergman space. In this paper, using the basis constructed by Michael and Zhu on the Bergman space we prove that each analytic Toeplitz operator Mb(z) is similar to n 1 copies of the Bergman shift if and only if B(z) is an n 1-Blaschke product. Prom the above theorem, we characterize the similarity invariant of some analytic Toeplitz operators by using K0-group term.  相似文献

本文主要研究Toeplitz算子相对于一对置换的共轭算子是2-复对称的充要条件. 首先在经典的Hardy空间上介绍一类被称为一对置换的共轭算子, 其次完整地刻画了在这类共轭算子下Toeplitz算子是2-复对称的结构, 利用Toeplitz算子在Hardy空间的经典正规正交基下的矩阵表示来刻画2-复对称Toeplitz算子. 最后对于Toeplitz算子分别补充前提$f_n=-f_{-n}$和$f_n=f_{-n}$, 得到了更简化的结果. 在第二个前提下, 研究Toeplitz算子的3-复对称性, 得到$T_f$关于$C_{(i,j)}$是3-CSO的结果和是2-CSO相同.  相似文献

与调和Bergman 空间相对应, 本文研究重调和Hardy 空间h2(D2) 上的Toeplitz 算子. 本文发现, h2(D2) 上的Toeplitz 算子与经典的Hardy 空间、Bergman 空间及调和Bergman 空间上的Toeplitz算子的性质都有很大的差异. 例如解析Toeplitz 算子可以不是半可换及可交换的. 即使半可换, 其中任何一个符号可以不为常数; 即使可交换, 两个符号的非平凡线性组合也不一定是常数. 本文得到了h2(D2) 上两个解析Toeplitz 算子半可换和可换的充分必要条件.  相似文献
