飞秒激光光刻是一种灵活的三维光子器件制作方法。由于铽镓石榴石具有法拉第效应,具有广泛的应用,利用中心波长为800nm,重复频率为1kHz的飞秒激光,在磁致旋光晶体铽镓石榴石中刻写了双线型和压低圆包层两种光波导,重构了激光诱导折射率改变的分布和测试了光波导的传输损耗。双线型波导具有偏振依赖的导光特性,圆包层波导则不存在偏振依赖的导光特性。对于双线型波导,横电(TE)模和横磁(TM)模相位完全失配,在外加磁场下,导模的偏振面不会发生旋转,光刻的圆包层波导的导模的偏振面能够发生磁致旋转。铽镓石榴石中的双线型和圆包层波导可以作为波导偏振器和磁旋光器件,在集成光学上有潜在的应用价值。 相似文献

稀土配合物掺杂无机玻璃的发光性质在光学器件和生物医学等领域有着重要应用,引起人们广泛关注。采用原位合成技术,在凝胶玻璃中合成并光学均匀掺杂了铕-铽-钆-六氟乙酰丙酮(HFA)三元配合物Eu1/2-xTb1/2-xGd2x(HFA)3(TPPO)2(x=0或1/18;TPPO:三苯基氧化磷);研究了含配合物凝胶玻璃的发光性能及铽、钆离子掺杂对铕离子发光性能的影响。凝胶玻璃显示铕和铽离子的特征发光,并观察到了基于声子支助的钆(周围配体)到铽、铕和铽到铕的能量转移,铕和铽离子的发光强度随测试温度改变而改变,该性质在温度探测器、生物探针、光纤传感器的热敏探针等多种领域具有重要的应用。 相似文献

运用时间分辨抽运-探测光谱技术,研究了磁光晶体铽镓石榴石(TGG)在不同椭圆偏振态的飞秒激光脉冲诱导下的极化和磁化响应.研究表明,当仅存在逆法拉第效应时,探测光旋转角信号和椭圆率信号的变化方向与圆偏振抽运光的旋向相关.这是由于圆偏振光在TGG晶体中产生的瞬态有效磁场的方向依赖于圆偏振光的旋向所致.光诱导磁化过程与材料的性质有关,TGG晶体的顺磁特性决定了其自旋弛豫时间为几十飞秒.由于探测光旋转角信号和椭圆率信号的半高全宽均为500 fs左右,加之信号强度随着抽运光脉冲能量密度的增加呈线性增长,表明TGG晶

为了改善PtSi IRCCD器件的红外响应特性,需要添加长焦距微透镜阵列进行焦平面集光,本文提出了一种新的方法—曲率补偿法用于长焦距微透镜阵列的制作.扫描电子显微镜(SEM)显示微透镜阵列为表面极为平缓的方底拱形阵列,表面探针测试结果显示用曲率补偿法制作的微透镜阵列表面光滑,单元重复性好,其焦距可达到685.51μm.微透镜阵列器件与PtSi IRCCD器件在红外显微镜下对准胶合,显著改善了IRCCD器件的光响应特性. 相似文献

与单纯的磁光晶体相比,由磁光介质与电介质周期性或准周期性排列构成的一维磁光光子晶 体能够显著增强磁光效应,可以用于实现小尺度的磁光隔离器,从而大大减小器件的尺寸. 给出更为一般的可用于求解斜入射情况下偏振光在各向异性介质中传播时的传输矩阵方法, 并用这种方法在波长为1053μm处,针对两种“三明治”型的反射磁光多层膜隔离器的 结构,具体讨论了器件应用时入射角度及工艺制作时膜层制备厚度对它们工作稳定性的影响 .发现中心磁光介质夹层较厚的结构具有膜层数目少、工作稳定性好的优点.

本文首次提出利用热光效应构成△β倒相结构的定向耦合器的设想,并在玻璃衬底上作出了具有两对薄膜热子的实验器件.在|kHz|防波调制电压下,用配有12位高速(A/D)变换器的微机.对定向耦合器的光输出进行分析,表明这种器件实现了全开、全关态,由于该类器件对入射光偏振状态无选择性,在短波工作时无光损伤以及容易制作,这类器件可望在对响应速率要求不高的场合获得应用. 相似文献

旋光玻璃广泛用于激光的调制、偏转、开关和高功率激光系统的隔离器.旋光玻璃的主要性质为费尔德常数.含高顺磁离子的旋光玻璃具有大的费尔德常数,可见区高透过等优点.具有较大磁矩和较低f-d跃迁能隙的顺磁离子铽应具有大的费尔德常数.本工作以高Tb2O3含量的Tb2 O3-B2O3-Al2O3-SiO2为基本系统.研究玻璃的形成;测定了不同Tb3+离子浓度时的费尔德常数,符合线性关系;调整玻璃组成以避免析晶,发展了波长632 nm的费尔德常数为75.1~116.4 rad/(T·m)的TG20,TG28,TG32旋光玻璃系列.建立了10升规模铂坩埚高温熔炉,成形和退火设备.形成口径30 cm旋光玻璃的生产能力.产品的1054 nm光吸收小于0.008 cm-1,1 ns的激光破坏阈值大于8 J/cm2,透过波前畸变小于五分之一波长.所制造的旋光玻璃已用于美国Lawrence Livermore国家实验室,中国"神光Ⅱ"升级,英国Rutherford实验室的Vulcan Laser System和CNRS CEA Luli等高功率激光系统. 相似文献

The measurement of an extremely small magneto-optical polarization rotation angle with high sensitivity is integral to many scientific and technological applications. In this Letter, we have presented a technique based on Faraday modulation combined with the optical differential method to measure an extremely small polarization rotation angle with high sensitivity. The theoretical and experimental results show that common mode noise is reduced appreciably and signal to noise ratio is enhanced. The effectiveness of this technique has been demonstrated by measuring the Verdet constant of terbium gallium garnet glass and measuring the small polarization rotation angle. A sensitivity of enhancement of one order of magnitude has been achieved using differential detection based on Faraday modulation. 相似文献

Verdet常数是表征材料磁光性能的重要参数,具有波长和温度依赖性.为了更好地分析入射光波长、温度等对Verdet常数的影响机理,从基础理论切入,分析了现有理论的优缺点.结合光的波粒二象性特性,提出了波动跃迁性贡献理论,即法拉第效应是光的波动性作用以及电偶极跃迁作用带来的贡献之和,波动性对偏转角的贡献为正,跃迁性贡献为负.在抗磁性材料中,波动性贡献大于跃迁性贡献,Verdet常数为正;顺磁性材料中,跃迁性贡献远大于波动性贡献,Verdet常数为负.进而分别以典型抗磁性材料重火石玻璃ZF1和顺磁性材料铽镓石榴石为例,并结合相关数据、参数、模型,对理论进行了验证.试验结果表明,在精确描述材料Verdet常数方面,波动跃迁性贡献理论具有一定的优越性. 相似文献

Optical absorption, luminescence, magnetic circular dichroism and Faraday rotation spectra of Sr0.95Eu0.05B4O7 single crystals are studied. The crystal field parameter for europium ions is found to be equal to 790 cm−1. Excitation spectrum of luminescence strongly differs from that of low-doped polycrystalline strontium tetraborate. The Verdet constant in the ultraviolet is comparable to that of terbium gallium garnet in the visible. 相似文献

We describe the measurement of the Verdet constant of undoped and Er-doped crystalline YAG and tellurite glass at 1645 nm.
The undoped YAG value is compared to those measured using visible light. We show that the paramagnetic nature of Er reduces
the Verdet constant but that the decrease is probably not significant for the typical Er doping levels used in Er:YAG or in

Verdet constant is one of the prominent parameter showing the magneto-optical property of magneto-optical materials. There will be a wavelength accumulation effect in the systems employing broad-band optical sources, because of the dispersion property of Verdet constant. It is not proved, however, how much this effect can affect the broad-band system up till now. Therefore it is necessary to research into it, because the question whether it is reasonable and feasible to use a monochromatic light model for the describing of broad-band systems is concerned. The dispersion formula of the Verdet constant of ZF-7 glass is calculated first, and then, its wavelength accumulation effect upon an optical current sensor is theoretically analyzed and digitally simulated, in this paper. The results show that the wavelength accumulation effect of the Verdet constant of ZF-7 glass is less enough and the treatment of using monochromatic model to describe broad-band optical current sensing systems is reasonable and feasible, if the wavelength accumulation effects of the other optical parameters of the sensing head are not considered. The results might be a reference to the colleagues working in the optical current sensing techniques area. 相似文献

Lithium terbium molybdate (LiTb(MoO4)2) single crystal was grown by the Czochralski method. The lattice parameters of the crystal were determined by X-ray diffraction
analysis. The absorption coefficient and the Faraday rotation spectrum (B=1.07 T) were investigated at wavelengths of 400–1500 nm at room temperature. Verdet constants of LiTb(MoO4)2 crystal at 532-, 633- and 1064-nm wavelengths were measured by the extinction method. The results show that LiTb(MoO4)2 crystal has a larger magneto-optical figure of merit than that of terbium gallium garnet at wavelengths of 600–1500 nm. 相似文献

We calculated the Verdet constant for first six groups of alcohols. Verdet constant is the rotation angle of a plane polarized light beam passing through a medium in a magnetic field, divided by the field strength and by the path length. Calculated ranges are in the wavelengths between 400 and 850 nm in gas and liquid phases. By plotting the obtained results, it can be seen that the Verdet constant decreases with increase in the wavelength, and this is commonly known for the mathematical relations. In our experiment we had intermolecular interactions which were negligible. For obtained results we observe some errors, but these errors are negligible and it will be lesser in high wavelengths. 相似文献

提出了一种扩大磁光式电流传感器动态范围的方法。磁光式电流传感器是基于法拉第效应和安培环路定律实现电流测量的。由于法拉第旋转角随被测电流周期性增大,测量时只能利用正弦曲线单调变化的部分,因此限制了电流的测量范围。利用光纤维尔德常数随光波长变化这一特性,通过测量两种光波旋转的角度差,获得了大电流的测量值。在正常计量范围内利用单波长数据获得精度较高的计量值,达到扩大传感器测量范围的目的。分析表明,当两波长的维尔德常数相差20%时,电流测量范围可以扩大到单波长时的6倍。采用这种方法可望用一个传感器同时满足电力系统中的计量和保护两种用途。 相似文献
