The general result for the sound field of a point acoustic stress in arbitrary motion is applied in this paper to study the effects of (i) uniform straight-line motion, (ii) uniform circular motion and (iii) pure rotation on the overall sound radiation from random point acoustic stresses. The effects of acceleration of the stresses due to steady rotation in a circle are established, using the moving-source approach adopted in two previous papers for the far-field sound radiation from rotating point forces and point sources. Applications include the turbulent sound generation from tip jet rotors and noise from rotating blades with distributed forces.  相似文献

圆柱壳内各型体积源辐射噪声特性研究是声场建模和声场预报的前提.为了研究具有指向性的大尺度体积源特性对水下航行器结构内外声场的影响,本文结合薄壳理论、等效源和柱腔Green函数构造了体积源激励下的壳体振动耦合方程,研究了体积源表面声散射作用和指向性强弱对圆柱壳内外声场的影响.数值计算结果表明,体积源构造的准确性与其等效源位置有关,等效源配置在体积源几何中心与其结构表面之间0.4—0.6时,可以提高声场计算结果的准确性;大尺度体积源表面的声散射作用会导致壳体内部声场结构发生改变,内声场声腔共振峰发生偏移,并且在部分频段引起较强的声透射现象;此外,体积源指向性变化对壳体内外声场强弱影响较小,其显著作用表现在改变了外辐射声场的远场指向性.该研究结果对噪声预报和控制有一定的参考价值.  相似文献

Based on the analytic expressions for the radiated field of a circular concave piston given by Hasegawa et al.,an integral for calculation of the radiation force on a plane absorbing target in a spherically focused field is derived.A general relation between acoustic power P and normal radiation force Fn is obtained under the condition of kr 1.Numerical computation is carried out by using the symbolic computation program for practically focused sources and absorbing circular targets.The results show that,for a given source,there is a range of target positions where the radiation force is independent of the target's position under the assumption that the contribution of the acoustic field behind the target to the radiation force can be neglected.The experiments are carried out and confirm that there is a range of target positions where the measured radiation force is basically independent of the target's position even at high acoustic power (up to 700 W).It is believed that when the radiation force method is used to measure the acoustic power radiated from a focused source,the size of the target must be selected in such a way that no observable sound can be found in the region behind the target.  相似文献

Although the signature of human voice is mostly tonal, it also includes a significant broadband component. Quadrupolelike sources due to turbulence in the region downstream of the glottis, and dipolelike sources due to the force applied by the vocal folds onto the surrounding fluid are the two primary broadband sound generating mechanisms. In this study, experiments were conducted to characterize the broadband sound emissions of confined stationary jets through rubber orifices formed to imitate the approximate shape of the human glottis at different stages during one cycle of vocal fold vibrations. The radiated sound pressure spectra downstream of the orifices were measured for varying flow rates, orifice shapes, and gas mixtures. The nondimensional sound pressure spectra were decomposed into the product of three functions: a source function F, a radiation efficiency function M, and an acoustic response function G. The results show that, as for circular jets, the quadrupole source contributions dominated for straight and convergent orifices. For divergent jets, whistling tonal sounds were emitted at low flow rates. At high flow rates for the same geometry, dipole contributions dominated the sound radiated by free jets. However, possible source-load acoustic feedback may have hampered accurate source identification in confined flows.  相似文献

A fluid mechanical, or aeroacoustic, point of view is followed to study possible sources of sound during phonation. Concentration is on two features of the vocal tract during phonation: abrupt area change from the glottis to the vocal tract and the finite length of the vocal tract. With these features, a source of sound distinct from the volume velocity source can be identified and a preliminary account of its effect on the acoustic field given. This source of sound is an oscillating force resulting from an interaction of rotational fluid motion with itself. Because of the schematic nature of the geometry of the model used here, this source may be considerably modified in actual phonation. It is concluded that specification of volume velocity is not enough to specify the source during phonation, even neglecting source-tract interaction.  相似文献

针对在线车轮超声探伤系统的工程应用,研究了跑道线圈电磁超声换能器由洛伦兹力换能机制在钢中产生的辐射声场。根据外磁场和线圈配置,将表面力源近似为非均匀的水平剪切力源,数值计算得到了此力源的辐射声场指向性图,并与实验结果进行比对,结果表明辐射的水平偏振横波具有中间强两侧弱的指向性,对理解跑道形电磁线圈超声换能器的辐射声场和在重载货车车轮辋裂缺陷探伤中的工程应用具有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

An exact series expansion for the field radiated by a monopole ring source with angular variation in source strength is derived from a previously developed expression for the field from a finite disk. The derived series can be used throughout the field, via the use of a reciprocity relation, and can be readily integrated to find the field radiated by arbitrary circular sources of finite extent, and differentiated to find the field due to higher order sources such as dipoles and quadrupoles.  相似文献

The sound radiated when inflow turbulence is present in axial flow fans has been investigated. Theoretically, two noise radiating mechanisms can be identified: (i) interaction of turbulence with the rotor potential field results in a quadrupole-type volume source distribution, producing “flow-interaction” noise; (ii) impingement of turbulence on the blades results in a dipole-type (fluctuating force) surface source distribution, producing “fluctuating lift” noise. A theoretical expression for the flow interaction sound power in the upstream radiation field has been developed, in terms of parameters that can be experimentally determined by near field flow measurements involving spatial cross-correlations of the fluctuating axial velocity, with respect to both radial and circumferential position. Both these measurements and radiated sound pressure measurements have been made for eight- and ten-bladed rotors of relatively low tip Mach number (< 0·3). The sound pressure measurements revealed the occurrence of band-spreading of discrete tones at the blade passing frequency and its harmonics, as would be theoretically predicted for quadrupole-type sources here. The theoretical predictions and the measurements, respectively, of the sound power radiated upstream were compared. The results indicated that, for the fans tested, the “fluctuating lift” noise strongly predominated over the “flow-interaction” noise. The observed sound power levels were consistent with levels estimated from the theory.  相似文献

This paper presents a time domain formulation for the sound field radiated by moving bodies in a uniform steady flow with arbitrary orientation. The aim is to provide a formulation for prediction of noise from body so that effects of crossflow on a propeller can be modeled in the time domain. An established theory of noise generation by a moving source is combined with the moving medium Green's function for derivation of the formulation. A formula with Doppler factor is developed because it is more easily interpreted and is more helpful in examining the physic of systems. Based on the technique presented, the source of asymmetry of the sound field can be explained in terms of physics of a moving source. It is shown that the derived formulation can be interpreted as an extension of formulation 1 and 1A of Farassat based on the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW–H) equation for moving medium problems. Computational results for a stationary monopole and dipole point source in moving medium, a rotating point force in crossflow, a model of helicopter blade at incidence and a propeller case with subsonic tips at incidence verify the formulation.  相似文献

We show a method to separate the sound field radiated by a signal source from the sound field radiated by noise sources and to reconstruct the sound field radiated by the signal source. The proposed method is based on reciprocity theorem and the Fourier transform. Both the sound field and its gradient on a measurement surface are needed in the method. Evanescent waves are considered in the method, which ensures a high resolution reconstruction in the near field region of the signal source when evanescent waves can be measured. A simulation is given to verify the method and the influence of measurement noise on the method is discussed.  相似文献

Active control of the sound radiated from a piston set in a rigid sphere with a set of control point sources around is considered in this paper, where the scattering sound field of the control sound from the rigid sphere has been taken into account to minimize the total radiated sound power. Analytic results of the sound power are obtained and numerical simulations show that it is possible to reduce the radiation from a small piston set in a rigid sphere similar to the size of a human head up to a certain frequency. It is found that the introduction of the scattering object makes significant differences from the active control without scattering objects. This being the case, the scattering object makes the active noise control easier. To increase the global reduction of sound-power output, the optimal number and locations of the control sources and the optimal number and locations of error sensors are discussed. Finally, experiments with one control source and one error sensor around a head simulator have been carried out to verify the simulation results.  相似文献

A spherical harmonic expansion for the sound field due to a rotating oscillating point source has recently been derived. This paper provides further confirmation of the expansion results by comparing it with two known numerical approaches to determining the sound field. In the advanced time approach-applicable for Mach numbers below 1-the sound at transmission time determines the field at an observation point from the distance from source to observation point at the transmission time. In the retarded time approach the field at the observation point at the observation time is determined by solving for the retarded transmission times. The results from all three approaches are shown to be in good agreement. Expressions for the far-field instantaneous frequency are also derived and shown to agree with previous work.  相似文献

With the aim to propose a reasonable and effective countermeasure for the elevated structure noise, the sound field radiated by a steel plate girder, which is the main source of the elevated structure noise, have been theoretically analysed. In the present study, steel plate girders are modelled as infinitely long elastic plate strips placed in parallel and numerical examples on the sound field radiated by the steel plate girders are shown. In the analysis of the radiated sound field, the equivalent source method is employed. Effect of the surface absorption on the sound field radiated by the girders is discussed through numerical examples. The results show that the surface absorption is effective for reduction of the radiated sound field, especially in the area that increase of sound pressure due to reflection by adjacent plate girders is observed. Furthermore, to design for reasonable countermeasure, variation of the noise reduction effect due to changing the pattern of surface absorption area on plate girders is classified.  相似文献

A problem of sound radiation by an absolutely rigid object, moving with respect to the surrounding fluid, is considered on the basis of the Lighthill's equation for aerodynamic sound. An integral representation of the radiated acoustic field is utilized, where the field is characterized as the sum of three fields, generated by a volume distribution of monopoles and by distributions of monopoles and dipoles on the surface of the rigid object. It is shown that, due to a discontinuity of Lighthill's stress tensor on the rigid boundary, a layer of surface divergence of hydrodynamic stresses on the boundary must be taken into account when evaluating the volume integral over Lighthill's quadrupole sources. When the contribution of the surface divergence is included in the solution of Lighthill's equation, amplitudes of the monopole and dipole sound radiated by the rigid object are shown to depend on the potential components of the normal velocity and the pressure on the rigid surface. The obtained solution is compared with Curle's solution for this problem, which establishes that the sound radiation by a rigid object is determined by the force exerted by the object upon the fluid. Both solutions are applied to two known problems of sound scattering and radiation by a rigid sphere in variable pressure and velocity fields. It is shown that predictions based on the obtained solution are equivalent to the results known from literature, whereas Curle's solution gives predictions contradicting the known results. It is also shown that the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings equation, which coincides with Curle's equation for an immoveable rigid object, does not lead to the correct predictions as well.  相似文献

A hybrid approach is presented in the current work, which reconstructs the transient sound field radiated from the two-dimensional sources with unknown locations and sizes, by combining the free-field time reversal method and the interpolated time-domain equivalent source method (TDESM). In the first step of the proposed method, the time reversal focusing algorithm is performed to estimate the source locations on the source plane. And then, the interpolated TDESM is applied to reconstruct the transient sound field on the reconstruction plane by assuming that the equivalent sources are located near the estimated source locations found in the previous step. The proposed technique, in principle, requires fewer microphones in the measurement since the equivalent sources are only placed in the vicinity of the ‘real’ sound sources. Reconstruction of the transient sound field radiated from the dual-planar-piston model is studied by numerical simulation for feasibility demonstration. A measurement of the sound fields radiated from two baffled loudspeakers is performed in the anechoic chamber, which shows that a better reconstruction result can be achieved by using the proposed hybrid scheme than the original interpolated TDESM with relatively the same number of sampling channels.  相似文献

针对浅海信道下弹性结构声辐射预报尚无高效可靠的研究方法,提出了一种浅海信道下弹性结构声辐射快速预报的联合波叠加法.该方法结合了浅海信道传输函数、多物理场耦合数值计算法和波叠加法理论,运用该方法可对浅海信道下弹性结构辐射声场进行快速预报.经数值法和解析解法验证后,从信道下辐射源、环境影响和辐射声场测量的角度研究分析了浅海信道下弹性圆柱壳的声辐射特性,阐释了进行浅海信道下结构声辐射研究的必要性.研究结果表明,仅在低频浅海信道下弹性结构可近似等效为点源,信道上下边界对声场产生显著的耦合影响,高频段的空间声场指向性分布尤为明显,垂直线列阵进行信道下结构辐射声功率测量时,测量结果受到信道环境边界和潜深的影响较大.  相似文献

为消除在非自由声场中重建声场时干扰声源对重建效果的影响,提出一种采用单个测量面上的声压和质点振速作为输入、等效源法作为分离和重建算法的非自由声场中目标声场还原与重建方法。该方法首先利用单面声压-质点振速测量和基于等效源法的声场分离技术将测量的混合声场分离为来自目标声源的向外传播的声场和来自干扰声源的向内传播的声场,然后利用向内传播的声场和目标声源的边界条件计算出干扰声在目标声源表面产生的散射声场,并将其从向外传播的声场中去除,还原出目标声源在自由声场条件下的辐射声场,最后利用还原的声场实现目标声场重建。通过数值仿真和实验检验了该方法的有效性和必要性。仿真和实验的结果表明,该方法可以在非自由声场的测量条件下,有效地去除干扰声的影响,实现目标声场的准确重建。   相似文献

An analysis is developed linking the form of the sound field from a circular source to the radial structure of the source, without recourse to far-field or other approximations. It is found that the information radiated into the field is limited, with the limit fixed by the wavenumber of the source multiplied by the source radius (Helmholtz number). The acoustic field is found in terms of the elementary fields generated by a set of line sources whose form is given by Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind and whose amplitude is found to be given by weighted integrals of the radial source term. The analysis is developed for tonal sources, such as rotors, and for Helmholtz number less than two, for random disk sources. In this case, the analysis yields the cross-spectrum between two points in the acoustic field. The analysis is applied to the problems of tonal radiation, random source radiation as a model problem for jet noise, and to noise cancellation, as in active control of noise from rotors. It is found that the approach gives an accurate model for the radiation problem and explicitly identifies those parts of a source which radiate.  相似文献
