Clusters XY2Z species are theoretically investigated with density functional theory (DFT) method. The results show that for LiP2C, LiAs2Ge and KAs2C species, the C2v isomer is the most stable planar structure, while for other species the Cs isomer is the most stable planar structure at the B3LYP/6-311+G* level. Wiberg Bond Index (WBI) and Nucleus-Independent Chemical Shift (NICS) values indicate the existence of delocalization in stable planar structures. A detailed Molecular Orbital (MO) analysis further reveals that planar isomers of these species have strong aromatic character, which strengthens the structural stability and makes them closely connect with the concept of aromaticity.  相似文献

The reaction mechanisms of HNCS with NH(X^3∑ ) were theoretically investigated. The minimum energy paths (MEP) of the reaction were calculated by using the density functional theory(DFT) at the B3LYP/6-311 + + G^** level. The equilibrium structural parameters, the harmonic vibrational frequencies, the total energies, and the zeropoint energies(ZPE) of all the species were calculated. The single-point energies along the MEP were further refined at the QCISD(T)/6-311 + + G^* * level. It was found that the mechanisms of the HNCS + NH(X^3∑) reaction involve two channels producing the HNC + HNS and the N2H2 + CS products. Channel 1 plays a dominant role and the HNC + HNS are the main preduets. The reaction is exothermie.  相似文献

The stereochemical nonrigidity of RfCo(PF3)x(CO)4-x(Rf=CF3,C2F5,C3F7,x=0-4) was studied at the theoretical level of B3LYP/6-31 1+G^* via Gaussian 09.The intramolecular rearrangements in these penta-coordinated compounds are mainly caused by the vibrations of perfluoroalkyl groups.All the barriers along the reaction coordinate are less than 66.9 kJ/mol,which indicates that the rearrangements are kinetically favorable and hard to elucidate by experiment.Besides,ligand PF3 is a ligand similar to CO,the energy difference between the reactant and product is small.  相似文献

Utilizing Gaussian94 program package, all species involved in decomposition reactions of o-pyridyl radical were optimized fully at B3LYP/6-311++G^** level. Intrinsic reaction coordinate calculations were employed to confirm the connections of the transition states and products, and transition states were ascertained by the number of imaginary frequency (0 or 1). The reaction mechanism was elucidated by the vibrational mode analysis and electronic population analysis, and the reaction rate constants were calculated with transition state theory.  相似文献

In order to shed light upon the nature and mechanism of 4f-3d magnetic exchange interactions, a series of binuclear complexes of lanthanide(3+) and chromium(3+) with the general formula [Ln(L)5(H2O)2Cr(CN)6]·mL· nH2O (Ln=La (1), Ce (2), Pr (3), Nd (4); x=5, y=2, m=1 or 2, n=2 or 2.5; L=2-pyrrolidinone) and [Ln(L)4(H2O)3Cr(CN)6] ·nH2O (Ln=Sm (5), Eu (6), Gd (7), Tb (8), Dy (9), Er (10); x=4, y=3, m=0, n= 1.5 or 2.0; L=2-pyrrolidinone) were prepared and the X-ray crystal structures of complexes 2, 6 and 7 were determined. All the compounds consist of a Ln-CN-Cr unit, in which Ln^3+ in a square antiprism environment is bridged to an octahedral coordinated Cr^3+ ion through a cyano group. The magnetic properties of the complexes 3 and 6-10 show an overall antiferromagnetic behavior. The fitting to the experimental magnetic susceptibilities of 7 give g= 1.98, J=0.40 cm^-1, zJ'= -0.21 cm^-1 on the basis of a binuclear spin system (Scd=7/2, Scr=3/2), revealing an intra-molecular Gd^3+-Cr^3+ ferromagnetic interaction and an inter-molecular antiferromagnetic interaction. For 7 the calculation of quantum chemical density functional theory (DFT), combined with the broken symmetry approach, showed that the calculated spin coupling constant was 20.3 cm^-1, supporting the observation of weak ferromagnetic intra-molecular interaction in 7. The spin density distributions of 7 in both the high spin ground state and the broken symmetry state were obtained, and the spin coupling mechanism between Gd^3+ and Cr^3+ was discussed.  相似文献

Ti+(CO2)2Ar and Ti+(CO2)n (n=3-7) complexes are produced by laser vaporization in a pulsed supersonic expansion. The ion complexes of interest are each mass-selected in a time- of-flight spectrometer, and studied with infrared photodissociation spectroscopy. For each complex, a sharp band in the CO stretching frequency region is observed, which confirms the formation of the OTi+CO(CO2)~_l oxide-carbonyl species. Small OTi+CO(CO2)~_1 complexes (n_〈5) exhibit CO stretching and antisymmetric CO2 stretching vibrational bands that are blue-shifted from those of free CO and CO2. The experimental observations indicate that the coordination number of CO and CO2 molecules around TiO+ is five. Evidence is also observed for the presence of another electrostatic bonding Ti+(CO2)2 structural isomer for the Ti+(CO2)2Ar complex, which is characterized to have a bent OCO-Ti+-OCO structure stabilized by argon coordination.  相似文献

The structures, ionization potentials (IP), electron affinities (EA) and HOMO-LUMO gaps (AEH.L) of the terfluorene oligomers were studied by the density functional theory with B3LYP functional. The characters of the front orbitals were analyzed on the basis of the ground structure. The vertical excitation energies Ev and the maximal absorption wavelengths λabs of a series of ter(9,9-diarylfluorene) compounds were studied employing the time dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) and ZINDO. The calculated maximal absorption wavelengths by both methods are in good agreement with the experimental data. The results show that the differences between terfluorene hh and ter(9,9-diarylfluorene) derivatives are slight in the structures and the electronic states except that there is the spiroconjugation in the latter. The spiroconjugation made these derivatives far from optimization in terms of stability. Excited structure of hh was calculated to be compared with the ground structure, which indicats that it has strong coplanar tendency of aromatic ring with the neighbour in the excited state. Consequently, they are good blue emitting materials with promising thermal stability.  相似文献

Through the theoretical calculation of structural optimization, vibrational frequencies and atomization energies with one method of density functional theory (B3LYP) and two post- Hartree-Fock approaches (MP2, CCSD(T)), several stable isomers for new three pnictogen dianionic Sb4^2-, Bi4^2-, and (SbBi)2^2- species were determined. For two homoatomic Sb4^2- and Bi4^2- species, there are three stable isomers: square (D4h), roof-shaped (C2v-1), and C2v-2 structure with the square isomer being the ground state. For the heteroatomic dian- ionic (SbBi)2^2- species, there are also three stable isomers: rhombus (D2h), roof-shaped (C1), and C2v structures with the rhombic isomer being the ground state. The calculated NICS values show that nucleus-independent chemical shifts (NICS) values of roof-shaped isomers for Sb4^2-, Bi4^2-, and (SbBi)2^2- species are all negative, consequently indicating that these roof-shaped isomers possess aromaticities. NICS values for the planar ring isomers are all positive, suggesting that these three planar ring isomers have antiaromatic characters. The aromaticity for the two stable roof-shaped and square isomers are preliminarily explained and discussed with MO analysis.  相似文献

The molecular structure and conformational stability of CH2CHCH2X (X=F, Cl and Br) molecules were studied using ab initio and density functional theory (DFT) methods. The molecular geometries of 3-fluoropropene were optimized employing BLYP and B3LYP levels of theory of DFT method implementing 6-311+G(d,p) basis set. The MP2/6-31G*, BLYP and B3LYP levels of theory of ab initio and DFT methods were used to optimize the 3-chloropropene and 3-bromopropene molecules. The structural and physical parameters of the molecules are discussed with the available experimental values. The rotational potential energy surface of the above molecules were obtained at MP2/6-31G* and B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) levels of theory. The Fourier decomposition of the rotational potentials were analyzed. The HF/6-31G* and MP2/6-31G* levels of theory have predicted the cis conformer as the minimum energy structure for 3-fluoropropene, which is in agreement with the experimental values, whereas the BLYP/6-311+G(d,p) and B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) levels of theory reverses the order of conformation. The ΔE values calculated for 3-chloropropene at MP2/6-31G*, BLYP/6-311+G(d,p) and B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) levels of theory show that the gauche form is more stable than the cis form, which is in agreement with the experimental value. The same levels of theory have also predicted that the gauche form is stable than cis for 3-bromopropene molecule. The maximum hardness principle has been able to predict the stable conformer of 3-fluoropropene at HF/6-31G* level of theory, but the same level of theory reverses the conformational stability of 3-chloropropene and 3-bromopropene molecules and MP2/6-31G* level of theory predicted the stable conformer correctly.  相似文献

利用从头算MP2方法和密度泛函理论B3LYP和B3PW91方法, 研究了杂硼原子簇XB6+ (X=C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb)的结构、稳定性及化学键合情况. 对C, Si, Ge, B使用6-311+G(d)基组, 对Sn和Pb使用LANL2DZ赝势基组. 研究结果表明, 具有Cs对称性的假平面XB6+ (X=C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb)结构是势能面上的全域极小点, 其稳定性要高于C6v对称性的锥形结构和C2对称性的假锥形结构. 在B3LYP水平上, 对这些异构体的势能面的极小点进行了自然键轨道(NBO)的分析; 对最稳定构型的最高占据分子轨道(HOMO)和最低空轨道(LUMO)能级差、分子轨道(MO)和核独立化学位移(NICS)进行了计算和讨论. 分析了杂原子和硼原子间、相邻硼原子间的键合情况, 讨论了最稳定构型的芳香性质.  相似文献

The binding interactions in complexes of Zn(+) with nitrogen donor ligands, (N-L) = pyridine (x = 1-4), 4,4'-dipyridyl (x = 1-3), 2,2'-dipyridyl (x = 1-2), and 1,10-phenanthroline (x = 1-2), are examined in detail. The bond dissociation energies (BDEs) for loss of an intact ligand from the Zn(+)(N-L)(x) complexes are reported. Experimental BDEs are obtained from thermochemical analyses of the threshold regions of the collision-induced dissociation cross sections of Zn(+)(N-L)(x) complexes. Density functional theory calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G* level of theory are performed to determine stable structures of these species and to provide molecular parameters needed for the thermochemical analysis of experimental data. Relative stabilities of the various conformations of these N-donor ligands and their complexes to Zn(+) as well as theoretical BDEs are determined from single point energy calculations at the B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,2p) and M06/6-311+G(2d,2p) levels of theory using the B3LYP/6-31G* optimized geometries. The experimental BDEs for the Zn(+)(N-L)(x) complexes are in reasonably good agreement with values derived from density functional theory calculations. BDEs derived from M06 calculations provide better agreement with the measured values than those based on B3LYP calculations. Trends in the sequential BDEs are explained in terms of sp polarization of Zn(+) and repulsive ligand-ligand interactions. Comparisons are made to the analogous Cu(+)(N-L)(x) and Ni(+)(N-L)(x) complexes previously studied.  相似文献

Singlet–triplet energy splitting for 24 silylenic reactive intermediates, X–CNSi (where X=H, F, Cl and Br), are compared and contrasted at 11 levels of theory: B1LYP/6-31++G**, B3LYP/6-31++G**, B1LYP/6-311++G**, B3LYP/6-311++G**, MP3/6-31G*, MP3/6-311++G**, MP2/6-31+G**, MP2/6-311++G**, MP4 (SDTQ)/6-311++G**, QCISD(T)/6-311++G** and CCSD(T)/6-311++G**. Each X-substituted silylenic species may either be singlet (s) or triplet (t), with one of the following three structures: 3-X-2-aza-1-silacyclopropenylidene (1s-X, 1t-X); [(X-imino)methylene]silylene (2s-X, 2t-X); and X-cyanosilylene (3s-X, 3t-X). For all X–CNSi species studied, orders of singlet–triplet energy separations (ΔEs-t,X), appear as a function of electro-negativity (F>Cl>Br>H). For the six H–CNSi isomers (X=H), stability order is: 3s-H>1s-H>2t-H>3t-H>2s-H>1t-H. Likewise, stability order for the six isomers with X=F, is: 3s-F>3t-F>1s-F>1t-F>2s-F>2t-F. For X=Cl, the order of stability is: 3s-Cl>1s-Cl>3t-Cl>2t-Cl>1t-Cl>2t-Cl. Finally, the order of stability for six isomers of Br–CNSi is: 3s-Br>3t-Br>1s-Br>2s-Br>2t-Br>1t-Br. The lowest energy minimum, among all 24 species scrutinized, appears to be the singlet acyclic 3s-X. Triplet silylene 2t-H is suggested to be more stable than its corresponding 2s-H at MP3, MP2 and DFT levels of theory. Comparisons between relative stabilities; multiplicities and geometrical parameters of 1–3 are discussed.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论(DFT)的B3LYP方法,在6-31G*和6-311+G(3df)水平上对CnB(n=1~6)团簇及其阴离子和阳离子的几何构型和电子结构进行了优化和振动频率计算.得到了CnB(n=1~6)团簇的电离能,绝热电子亲合势以及CnBδ(δ=0,±1)团簇的能隙.结果表明CnB(n=1~6)团簇的基态构型均为线形,这与等电子的Cn簇合物的结构是一致的; CnB(n=1~6)团簇的基态构型中,除C2B为不对称的三角形,C6B为具有C2v对称性的环状结构外,其余均为线形结构.阳离子团簇中n=2、3、6的基态结构具有C2v对称性外,其它几个均为线形结构.从几何参数和振动频率上发现,采用密度泛函B3LYP方法在6-311+G(3df)和6-31G*两种基组上计算得到的键长参数和振动频率非常接近,说明B3LYP方法在计算CnB簇合物结构参数上对于基组的选择是不太敏感的.通过对CnB(n=1~6)的光电子能谱性质的研究发现,C4B容易获得一个电子形成阴离子团簇,但失去一个电子是很困难的,这与实验上观测到的结果非常吻合.  相似文献

Ab initio calculations of the structural, energetic, vibrational, and magnetic characteristics of the lowest-lying structures for isolated molecules and ions of light-metal tetrahydroaluminates (Li, Na, Be, Mg, and Al) have been performed by the perturbation theory (MP2), quadratic configuration interaction (QCISD(T)), coupled cluster (CCSD(T)), and density functional theory (B3LYP) methods using the 6-31G*, 6-31G**, 6-311+G**, and 6-311++G** basis sets. The trends in the behavior of the molecular characteristics have been analyzed in various related series of these compounds. The results are compared with the data on analogous light-metal tetrahydroborates calculated at the same levels of theory. The differences in structure and stability between analogous hydroborate and alanate complexes are examined. The economical approximation B3LYP/6-311++G**//B3LYP/6-311+G** has been shown to adequately reproduce the results obtained at the higher level of theory CCSD(T)/6-311++G**//MP2/6-31G* even though it requires considerably shorter CPU times and smaller amounts of memory.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论B3LYP方法, 在B3LYP/6-311++G(2d,2p)//B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)基组水平上对乙醇-水分子团簇(C2H5OH(H2O)n (n=1-9))的各种性质进行研究, 如: 优化的几何构型、结构参数、氢键、结合能、平均氢键强度、自然键轨道(NBO)电荷分布、团簇的生长规律等. 结果表明, 从二维(2-D)环状结构到三维(3-D)笼状结构的过渡出现在n=5的乙醇-水分子团簇中. 此外, 利用团簇结合能的二阶差分、形成能、能隙等性质, 发现在n=6时乙醇-水分子团簇的最低能量结构稳定性较好, 可能为幻数结构. 最后, 为了进一步探讨氢键本质, 将C2H5OH(H2O)n (n=2-9)最低能量结构的各种性质与纯水分子团簇(H2O)n (n=3-10)比较, 结果表明前者与后者中的水分子之间氢键相似.  相似文献
