利用球形压电陶瓷自身所具有的耐压能力,采用径向极化空气背衬压电球壳换能器作为声学接收敏感元件,设计并制作了一种球形耐压水听器。首先对其低频开路接收灵敏度和谐振频率等声学特性进行了分析和有限元仿真,然后对其强度和稳定性等耐压性能进行了分析和有限元仿真,最后对其声学性能和耐压能力进行了测试。测试表明,该球形耐压水听器的直径为36 mm,工作频段为50 Hz~10 kHz,低频接收灵敏度为-198.4 dB (0 dB=1 V/μPa),等效自噪声谱级为46.5 dB@1 kHz,其耐压深度可达3000 m。该耐压水听器为大深度水听器设计提供了参考,在深水声学领域具有重要的应用价值。  相似文献

Transformation acoustics are concentrated for the purpose of designing novel acoustic devices to tailor acoustic waves to achieve desirable characteristics. However, these devices require fluid or fluid-like materials with an anisotropic density that generally does not exist in nature. Therefore, we introduce pentamode metamaterials into an alternating multilayer isotropic medium model to build fluid-like metamaterials with an anisotropic density. A 2D acoustic bending based on transformation acoustics is established and investigated to verify our method. This idea provides a method to design broadband and physically realizable acoustic metamaterials with an anisotropic density and is meaningful for the design of acoustic metamaterials.  相似文献

Discrete-frequency tones generated by rotor-stator interactions are of particular concern in the design of fans and compressors. Classical theory considers an isolated flat-plate cascade of identical uniformly spaced airfoils. The current analysis extends this tuned isolated cascade theory to consider coupled aerodynamically detuned cascades where aerodynamic detuning is accomplished by changing the chord of alternate rotor blades and stator vanes. In a coupled cascade analysis, the configuration of the rotor influences the downstream acoustic response of the stator, and the stator configuration influences the upstream acoustic response of the rotor. This coupled detuned cascade unsteady aerodynamic model is first applied to a baseline tuned stage. This baseline stage is then aerodynamically detuned by replacing alternate rotor blades and stator vanes with decreased chord airfoils. The nominal aerodynamically detuned stage configuration is then optimized, with the stage acoustic response decreased 13 dB upstream and 1 dB downstream at the design operating condition. A reduction in the acoustic response of the optimized aerodynamically detuned stage is then demonstrated over a range of operating conditions.  相似文献

提出了基于声学响应模型与群差分进化算法的次声管道降噪滤波器优化设计方法,在理想条件和工程实践两种情景下设计了管道滤波器的结构参数并仿真分析了降噪性能表现。结果表明:(1)理想条件下的设计结果在约0.1~0.8 Hz的频带内取得了5 dB以上的降噪性能提升,最大提升达到12 dB。(2)工程实践情景的设计结果在各种环境风速中最大可以取得约3dB的性能提升。(3)大风速条件的优化设计可应用于环境风速未知或变化较大的场景。分析结果表明所提设计方法可以有效设计管道滤波器,优化设计的管道滤波器在降噪性能上优于传统管道滤波器。   相似文献

This paper is aimed to investigate the structural-borne acoustics analysis and multi-objective optimization of an enclosed box structure by using the panel acoustic participation (PAP) and response surface methodology (RSM). The acoustic frequency response function is applied to achieve the critical frequency of interest under each excitation. The PAP analysis is then carried out at all critical frequencies and the remarkable acoustic panels are identified. The correlation coefficient matrix method is proposed for reselecting and grouping the positions of acoustic panels identified to paste damping layer to control noise. With the help of faced central composite design, an efficient set of sample points are generated and then the second-order polynomial functions of sound pressure response at each critical frequency are computed and verified by the adjusted coefficient of multiple determination. The functional relationships between sound pressure responses and the thicknesses of damping layers are investigated, and multi-objective optimization of the thicknesses of damping layers is developed. The results indicate that, by using the PAP and RSM, the structural-borne acoustics at critical frequencies are calculated conveniently and controlled effectively. The optimization process of the explicit optimization model proposed in this paper is simple and the computational time is saved.  相似文献

The results are presented from an experimental study of solving the inverse problem of recovering a turbulent flow’s velocity and its position in space by analyzing the spectrum of fluctuations in an acoustic signal of different frequencies intersecting the flow. The conditions for and accuracy of recovering turbulent flow characteristics are discussed in terms of a multifrequency signal propagating along one acoustic path. The study is performed using a muffled acoustic chamber with a jet of air serving as a turbulent flow. Despite the physical character of the experiments, their results can be applied to problems of atmospheric, aero-, and oceanic acoustics.  相似文献

Teachers adjust their voice levels under different classroom acoustics conditions, even in the absence of background noise. Laboratory experiments have been conducted in order to understand further this relationship and to determine optimum room acoustic conditions for speaking. Under simulated acoustic environments, talkers do modify their voice levels linearly with the measure voice support, and the slope of this relationship is referred to as room effect. The magnitude of the room effect depends highly on the instruction used and on the individuals. Group-wise, the average room effect ranges from -0.93 dB/dB, with free speech, to -0.1 dB/dB with other less demanding communication tasks as reading and talking at short distances. The room effect for some individuals can be as strong as -1.7 dB/dB. A questionnaire investigation showed that the acoustic comfort for talking in classrooms, in the absence of background noise, is correlated to the decay times derived from an impulse response measured from the mouth to the ears of a talker, and that there is a maximum of preference for decay times between 0.4 and 0.5 s. Teachers with self-reported voice problems prefer higher decay times to speak in than their healthy colleagues.  相似文献

Traditionally, the average professional musician has owned numerous acoustic musical instruments, many of them having distinctive acoustic qualities. However, a modern musician could prefer to have a single musical instrument whose acoustics are programmable by feedback control, where acoustic variables are estimated from sensor measurements in real time and then fed back in order to influence the controlled variables. In this paper, theory is presented that describes stable feedback control of an acoustic musical instrument. The presentation should be accessible to members of the musical acoustics community who may have limited or no experience with feedback control. First, the only control strategy guaranteed to be stable subject to any musical instrument mobility is described: the sensors and actuators must be collocated, and the controller must emulate a physical analog system. Next, the most fundamental feedback controllers and the corresponding physical analog systems are presented. The effects that these controllers have on acoustic musical instruments are described. Finally, practical design challenges are discussed. A proof explains why changing the resonance frequency of a musical resonance requires much more control power than changing the decay time of the resonance.  相似文献

A major UK initiative, entitled ‘Mapping the Underworld’, is seeking to improve our capability of locating buried utility service infrastructure without resorting to extensive excavations. One of the four projects aims to develop and prove the efficacy of a multi-sensor device for remote buried utility service detection, location and, where possible, identification. An essential technology to be combined into the device is low-frequency acoustics, and suitable techniques for detecting buried infrastructure, in particular buried plastic water pipes, have been proposed. In order to develop and test these techniques, an experimental rig has been built. It is the design and instrumentation of this rig along with the rationale for the chosen design which is the main focus of this paper. Preliminary measurements have been made on the rig, to determine the most appropriate acoustic excitation method and to confirm that the rig is behaving as anticipated. An integral equation generalizing a variety of known geometrical room acoustics modeling algorithms is presented. The formulation of the room acoustic rendering equation is adopted from computer graphics. Based on the room acoustic rendering equation, an acoustic radiance transfer method, which can handle both diffuse and nondiffuse reflections, is derived. In a case study, the method is used to predict several acoustic parameters of a room model. The results are compared to measured data of the actual room and to the results given by other acoustics prediction software. It is concluded that the method can predict most acoustic parameters reliably and provides results as accurate as current commercial room acoustic prediction software. Although the presented acoustic radiance transfer method relies on geometrical acoustics, it can be extended to model diffraction and transmission through materials in future.  相似文献

In order to evaluate the potential for detection and identification of underwater unexploded ordnance (UXO) by exploiting their structural acoustic response, we carried out broadband monostatic scattering measurements over a full 360 degrees on UXO's (two mortar rounds, an artillery shell, and a rocket warhead) and false targets (a cinder block and a large rock). The measurement band, 1-140 kHz, includes a low frequency structural acoustics region in which the wavelengths are comparable to or larger than the target characteristic dimensions. In general, there are aspects that provide relatively high target strength levels ( approximately -10 to -15 dB), and from our experience the targets should be detectable in this structural acoustics band in most acoustic environments. The rigid body scattering was also calculated for one UXO in order to highlight the measured scattering features involving elastic responses. The broadband scattering data should be able to support feature-based separation of UXO versus false targets and identification of various classes of UXO as well.  相似文献

Variations in the loop response of hearing aids caused by jaw movements, variations in acoustics outside the ear, and variations of vent size have been identified. Behind The Ear (BTE) and In The Ear Canal (ITEC) hearing aids were considered. The largest variations among the variations of the acoustics outside the ear, except when the hearing aid was partly removed, were found with the ITEC when a telephone set was placed by the ear. The variations of the loop response caused by changes in vent size were compared with the variations of a theoretical model of the feedback path. The theoretical model was also used to compare the feedback of different designs of the vent that gives the same acoustic impedance at low frequencies. The calculated feedback was less with the short vents (12 mm) than the long vents (24 mm).  相似文献

阵列波导光栅的平坦化在实际应用中有很重要的意义.本文系统地研究了阵列波导光栅的平坦化.在输入波导、输出波导、阵列波导输入端与输出端上分别引入了指数型锥形波导.通过改变锥形波导的形状和尺寸来实现平坦化的优化.本文首先从理论上论述了引入指数型锥形波导的输出光谱特性,给出了结构参量的关系表达式,阐明了输入波导处的锥形波导是影响输出光谱平坦化的主要因素,阵列波导和输出波导处的锥形波导对输出光谱的平坦化有一定的影响.其次采用数值模拟的方法模拟了输出光谱,优化了结构参量,总结出了指数型锥形波导对平坦化影响的趋势和规律.模拟结果显示,输出光谱1 dB带宽大于通道间隔的50%,插入损耗从5.2 dB减小到了4.0 dB,串扰小于-30 dB.最后,本文给出了实验结果,插入损耗减小了0.87 dB,串扰减小了3.67 dB,1 dB带宽增加0.1 nm,增加了54.7%.实验结果表明引入指数型锥形波导提高了阵列波导光栅器件的光谱性能.  相似文献

Overshoot refers to the phenomenon where signal detectability improves for a short-duration signal as the onset of that signal is delayed relative to the onset of a longer duration masker. A popular explanation for overshoot is that it reflects short-term adaptation in auditory-nerve fibers. In this study, overshoot was measured for a 10-ms, 4-kHz signal masked by a broadband noise. In the first experiment, masker duration was 400 ms and signal onset delay was 1 or 195 ms; masker spectrum level ranged from - 10-50 dB SPL. Overshoot was negligible at the lowest masker levels, grew to about 10-15 dB at the moderate masker levels, but declined and approached 0 dB at the highest masker levels. In the second experiment, the masker duration was reduced to 100 ms, and the signal was presented with a delay of 1 or 70 ms; masker spectrum level was 10, 30, or 50 dB SPL. Overshoot was about 10 dB for the two lower masker levels, but about 0 dB at the highest masker level. The results from the second experiment suggest that the decline in overshoot at high masker levels is probably not due to auditory fatigue. It is suggested, instead, that the decline may be attributable to the neural response at high levels being dominated by those auditory-nerve fibers that do not exhibit short-term adaptation (i.e., those with low spontaneous rates and high thresholds).  相似文献

The choir singer has two acoustic signals to attend to: the sound of his or her own voice (feedback), and the sound of the rest of the choir (reference). The balance in loudness between feedback and reference is governed mainly by the room acoustics. Although earlier experiments have shown that singers have a fairly large tolerance for imbalance, with references ranging from −23 to +5 dB, experience suggests that, when singers are given control over this parameter, their preferences are much narrower. A quantification of the optimum balance would be useful in the design of concert stages and rehearsal halls. A method is described for measuring the feedback and reference levels as experienced by singers under live performance conditions. Recordings were made using binaural microphones worn by choir singer subjects. With the given combination of choir and room, it was possible to achieve adequate separation of the feedback and reference signals with simple signal processing. The feedback-to-reference ratio averaged over the 12 singers was found to be +3.9 dB, with extremes of +1.5 and +7.3 dB.  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a novel apodization technique for an elliptical-core two-mode fiber acousto-optic filter by twisting the fiber and adjusting the acoustic polarization. The sidelobe suppression in the filter spectrum was improved from -9.7 to -15.5 dB. A theoretical analysis that includes acoustic birefringence explains the experimental results with good agreement.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of new studies based on speech intelligibility tests in simulated sound fields and analyses of impulse response measurements in rooms used for speech communication. The speech intelligibility test results confirm the importance of early reflections for achieving good conditions for speech in rooms. The addition of early reflections increased the effective signal-to-noise ratio and related speech intelligibility scores for both impaired and nonimpaired listeners. The new results also show that for common conditions where the direct sound is reduced, it is only possible to understand speech because of the presence of early reflections. Analyses of measured impulse responses in rooms intended for speech show that early reflections can increase the effective signal-to-noise ratio by up to 9 dB. A room acoustics computer model is used to demonstrate that the relative importance of early reflections can be influenced by the room acoustics design.  相似文献
